Wolves of the Mist - DESTINIAN MAIN CAMP

Introduction

"So what if you can see, the darker side of me?"

The earth is but a century old, created and blessed by the paws of a divine being known simple as the Golden Wolf. He enchanted his dear homeland valley with four packs of wild lupines, each unique and differing in their talents and impurities. But the four warred and all but destroyed each other -- the survivors moved on, and renamed themselves as four new packs.
But eventually, fate led them back to their mythic valley. The four packs have forgotten the old ways, and a series of plagues was released to chase them -- they may have defeated sickness and disease, but there are others that are still hot on their trail. Hellfire, the wolven hell, has exploded into the living realm once more, and the oldest enemy known to the wolves moves closer and closer to reassmebling. In the middle of all of this, wolves are going missing. Three packs are glaring war at the fourth, the perfect distraction for the real threat to take charge...

Plot

Plot #4 "The Resurrection"
Flames erupted at the Moonless Meeting of July, bringing with it an impenetrable smoke that flooded the valley and a plethora of wolves that claim to be sighting the dead. Wolves are disappearing without a trace, and all evidence suggests there is treachery coming from the Yozoran Pack. A second disaster, a cruel, inescapable tornado massacred the sickened forest, and now, with so many deaths, the wolves of the forest want action. A war is sure to rise against the Yozorans....but there is more in the mist than what has been seen.
The wolves of Hellfire, wolven hell, have been reborn into the world, and if killed, they regenerate a few days later. Exiled pack wolves, rouges, loners, and even the unwilling are being recruited into the new Hellfirian Band, but something even worse is making its appearence -- a traitor is coming to lead these defeaters of death. Blood will flow as one with the mists....
"Throats will break,
Death will flow,
Quench the flame,
Don't be slow.
Rip and Tear...
Slash and Slit...
The fire will again be lit,
The deadly past has come again,
And soon will come a gorey end,
Nothing can defeat this power,
As the dawn of death is closer with every waking hour."

	ALPHA DEN The Destinian alpha den at first glance appears as a regular cave. It's a small, circular opening in a mound of stone with an old hollow log leaning on the structure, close to the entrance. But, once inside, it's discovered that the circular hole and cave are really just the doorway to an old underground hollow. This is where the alpha of the Destinian Pack rests and can often be found. 	HERB HEALER DEN Next to the alpha den is a large clump of ferns that grows close to an old pine. The pine provides something like a roof, and the ferns at its base keep the den private and hidden. This is where the herb healer and herb healer neophyte of the Destinian Pack rest, store herbs, and heal packmates. Herbs are easily stored in the many niches in the pine's trunk. 	DESTINIAN NURSERY This is perhaps the most secure den in the camp. The Nursery of the Destinian wolves is hidden well, being inside of a root cave underneath the trunk of an only partially upturned evergreen. The needles of the tree keep most birds of prey away, but eyes are always sharp for unwelcome birds. The bearers and pups of the Destinian Pack rest and live here most of the time.
