He listened to her cautiously still and when she took a step toward him he made sure there was no challenge in her eyes. She then continued to apologize. How could you forget you were playing? He hadn't done anything to her and yet she had acted so. When she said something about her missing eye he noticed what he had done. He'd come on her blind side and anger rose inside himself. He never forgot the weakness' of wolves and yet Vivichi was always whole to him so he always forgot. Then she explained that she was lost in thought of battle and wanted to prover herself.
His eyes followed to her paws as they started to shuffle, making sure she wouldn't lunge at him. For the first time he felt a little scared around his friend. He couldn't help it. She had fought him and he had proof from his chest that the pain was slowly ebbing away. "You don't have to prove you can win a fight with me, I know you can.," he said and hesitated a moment. Then he took a step up to her and continued,"Don't worry about dieing in a battle. You won't die because you have very good skills and I'll help you if you need." He tried to wag his tail while talking to her, but was straining against surprise and his instincts to growl at her and make her submit to him. Jolon made sure she didn't see any of his inner struggle.

A gentle smile crossed her maw as she listened to Jolon. But it wasn't his words, it was his reactions. Was he scared of her? That boosted her self esteem, making her smirk a little. But one thing remained. After what she had just done, their friendship would never be the same, would it? It had apparently scarred Jolon, changing his view about her, and it had definately scarred Vivichi. Something as crazy as this could ruin what she'd longed for her whole life. Great job, Vivi. Inside she wanted to cry as she realized this. Why had she been so stupid? Idiotic? Why had she not thought it through? She'd foolishly scarred thier closenest. "I knew you'd think it was stupid. Go ahead, yell at me. I won't care if you never talk to me agian. You..." Her last sentence she had to think through. Would she say it? It would hurt her, but she knew he most likely agreed to it. Right now, she wouldn't even care if he attacked her. She felt awful, and worse that he didn't fully understand what she had explained. It was the dumbest thing that had ever happened, and she hated it. What she had wanted to say was "You most likely hate me now." but it wouldn't come out of her maw. She had to bring back the liveliness, the happiness, in their friendship. This moment was much to stressful for her to bare, being her happy cheery self. "Jolon, I want to be your friend." She said with an awkward smile on her lips. She approached him once more, aware of his tense shape and catious look as she neared him, and she wagged her tail. What did she have to do to win his trust back? But now, despite her longing to do so, she felt too awkward. It was so wierd, and as all of the excitement faded to worry, she felt drowsy again. "Come here and lay by me, under the stars. I want to look at them again." She said lamely as an excuse to lie down. Hopefully he would lay down with her. Slowly, she lowered herself into the same position as before, on her back with her paws curled and nose to the sky. Vivichi wished he would regain the same happy and friendly spark as before.
(Eh,)

Jolon looked at her confused. She thought that he thought her stupid and that he was going to yell at her and never talk to her again. It hurt to know she belittled him so. Before he could say anything, she walked up to him with a smile and told him she wanted to still be his friend and wagged her tail. Then she layed back down like the way he'd seen her before and asked him to lay by her again because she wanted to look at the stars again. His paws lead him there and he couldn't help it, he still looked at her cautiously. Her sudden shift in moods was confusing to him and he wanted to make sure she wouldn't forget who he was and attack again. Jolon wasn't necessarily scared, just surprised and wary. He didn't want to fight his friend, but he would if he had to.
Then, he layed down again, but this time on his back like Vivchi. "I want to be your friend as well and I don't think your stupid and going to yell at you. Why would I? Friends forgive one another and understsand. It was my fault for attacking on your blind side....I didn't realize, I'm sorry," he said. Jolon looked up in the sky at the stars and moon.

"Thank you." Vivichi smiled as he explained. "And in a way, I'm glad you didn't realize. You haven't once thought of me as 'the blind wolf'. It means a lot to me. It's not your fault at all Jolon." She said, meaning every word, but still a little wary. Something in her still felt guilty, even though she knew she'd been forgiven. She knew she couldn't expect thier friendship to be perfect, none were, but she wanted it to be. She wished she had never started the play fight in the first place. All she wanted was to go back in time and start over.
"I had a great day." She said, remembering the earlier day when she had met her friend. And as she said that, she slowly, still worried about her friendship but satisfied with her day, she fell asleep on her back.
The last thing she saw before she closed her eyes were the glittering harvest moons she loved.
(Hehehe. I love that last sentence. So, you can post if you want, but I pretty much think we could end it here. =) Let's go, Rigatoni! WHOOT)
