Sing for Me (Skysong/Kunai)

Skysong's paws padded along the Nuka River, according to her father named after a former Destinian beta that was also Destiny's brother. Skysong sighed as she walked along the bank. Bluefrost had been recently wounded by a bear that had been preparing for hibernation. Now she had to wait for her training to continue. Wolves had been busy ever since coming to the new packlands and she felt lonely. She had no idea where Sothis was, or Aliya and Mocha, not that she cared. Her sister could stay gone for as much as she cared. Skysong hadn't seen Kunai recently either, not since his neophyte ceremony when Star was named his mentor. Skysong sighed and paused. A flat rock jutted out over the river. Skysong padded up and sat back on her hunches, staring down at the water. Her silver eyes reflected back at her, crescant moon emblazened upon her forehead between her eyes.

Its been a while...

Kunai never really saw a lake or a river sense he was abandoned because of his heartbreaking, backstabbing mother who was colorist with any color of fur. There is nothing wrong with the color gray, blue, black, etc... really there is nothing wrong with any other fur color. He wished that his mother was never colorist but then again... he would have never ment a lot of other wolves like Skysong, Midnight, Star, Steven, and a whole bunch of other wolves.

What happened to Skysong?

Kunai never saw Skysong in a while sense he ment Star. It was weird sense his best friend was cool and then doesn't even remember seen her ever on the way to their new home away from Blood Mist. Wait never mind! The ceremony... that was the only time that he got to see her when they were being neophyted and when she walked right past them.

Water....

The abandoned wolf pup saw the water and a wolf pup looking down at the water. Who was it? Kunai just has to use his the scent to- it's SKYSONG! Kunai ran till he got to the banks of the river right next to her. "Hey Skysong, haven't seen you for a while huh?" He woofed.

Skysong looked up as Kunai bounded toward her. A slight smile curled on her velvet black maw and her banner wagged happily as she saw her friend. "Hi Kunai. Yeah, I guess it's been a while. I was with Bluefrost for a little while and decided to go hunting. Guess I haven't gotten very far." Skysong laughed lightly and looked around. No prey to be found here unless you were good at fishing. Skysong looked back over at Kunai with a friendly smile. The blue-black femmora shifted a bit so that there would be room for Kunai to join her if he wanted to. "Have you been training with Star?"

Training....

"I never even got a chance training with Star... not that I didn't want to or anything. Plus Stephen is in love wth her and got hit by a tree and is blind," Kunai explained to Skysong. When will he start training? It would most likely be almost forever to get only one thing done. "Could you heal eyes? Kunai just has to ask.

Skysong was caught by surprise when Kunai asked if she could heal Stephen. Skysong stared at Kunai for a moment, silver eyes widened slightly in surprise. "How do you think I'd be able to help him? Sothis probably could." Sky looked back down at the river. "I can't do anything, Sothis probably can. He can do....amazing things sometimes." Skysong felt embarrassed. Compared to her brother she was useless. Now that Mocha was back, Aliya never seemed to look away from her. Sirius was busy but he was the only one that freely showed that Skysong still existed.

"Sorry I'm just asking becasue you heeled Halo I think that was the wolf's name I was thinking if you could heal Stephen," Kunai explained. That was what on his mind so he could start his training because Star was soo inlove with him too.It was O.K. that that happened even look at them... they make a cute wolf couple!

Skysong looked away from Kunai. She was sure she'd disappointed him. Skysong, compared to her brother and other family members, felt useless. Sothis could probably help Stephen or maybe some other healer but Skysong only knew the basics, only because Sothis had had some kind of effect on her and she knew on instinct. "What happened to Stephen" Skysong barked slowly, "Is something that can't be reversed. I met a wolf once in BlackMist, she became a loner, she was blind. Thorn gave her sight but then she lost it again. What she told me was, blindness is something that can't be reversed, even by the will of a Godess."

Stephen....

"Well to start things off.... I don't know but the other wolves say that he fell inlove with Star and he finally admited that and then they ran togethen. Finally he didn't knowest the tree and he smashed into it! There might be something big in his eye that might had made him blind. I don't know I have to listen to Star for the real information. Plus that Stephen has a neophyte too so he might not able to mentor that wolf pup," Kunai mentioned.

Skysong shrugged sadly. "I don't know Kunai. Did you try talking to Sedaka? Maybe he knows what to do? If Stephen ran into something maybe it's temporary and it'll wear off eventually like Zuni's snow-blindness?" Skysong shrugged and rose to her paws. "Come on, lets go hunt for a little bit. Maybe we can stop by the healer den when we're done. I want to take something to Bluefrost to make her feel better."

"Do you mean like that fish right infront of you?" He asked her and looked down at the fish and hit it where it landed on the banks of the river. "Come on and lets get the fish!" Kunai ran toward the fish.

Skysong smiled at Kunai as he tossed a fish onto the bank. She had never really known he knew how to fish but heck, you learn soemthing new everyday. Knowing Skysong's luck she'd fall in the river but oh well. Skysong nodded. "Ok, lets go" Skysong barked, tail wagging. The fae started toward the bank when a scent made her stop. Her head raised and her eyes scanned the undergrowth, ears swerving left and right. "Kunai...did you come out here alone?"

[nighty!]

Kunai could smell the scent too and still ran and grabbed the fish with his mouth. "No... but I think I reconize the scent... like maybe my-" The pup just had to pause. His mother or father. If they find out that he was alive then they would make sure that they kill him alive.

"Nevermind hunting" Skysong barked. "Let's just go back to camp." Her fur prickled uncomfortably as if someone was watching them. It was unnerving and suddenly, Skysong felt very unsafe. She could tell Kunai was wary as well and hoped it didn't mean what she thought it did. Kunai had told her about his parents and she hoped that they hadn't actually found him. Sky was fiarly sure that she wasn't any safer then he was, she was also black-furred though an azul tinge could be seen in the sun.
