Star padded through the snow with a heavy heart. She walked untill she came to the middle of the open space, where she layed down in the white wonderland. She tilted her head back, gazing at the stars with sorrow. They seem brighter here than they did back home, she thought. The aurora seemed brighter, too. The sky was alive with color tonight. All was calm, all was bright. She thought she heard pawsteps behind her, but wasn't sure. She was too entranced by the heavens above her to turn and look.

It was basicly Stephen's going somewhere else so the very first thing that he did was to look around and tries to remember to get use to it. Then just wonder without caring for a thorn in his paw. (No there isn't a thorn in his paw). He found a familiar wolf-scent, yeah a scent that he sniffs everyday when they were heading to the mountains. Star. She was very beautiful and he is too much of a cat to say anything about his true feelings about her sense he was a pup and thought that they were only friends at the time. Stephen walked towards Star was at. Hey Star, how are you adapting to this place so far?" He asked a basic question to get things started. See if that he not a cat and tells her that he likes her or not? [/size][/center] |

Despite her uncertainty around Stephen, Star couldn't stop a smile from spreading across her face as her oldest and best friend approached her. She thought about the question he'd asked her, about how she'd been adapting. She wasn't quite sure how to answer. Yes, the place was nice, but it still seemed so foreign, and she didn't really know her way around yet. "It's quite beautiful. I just don't really know my way around yet. It...doesn't feel like home yet." She frowned at this. She missed the old forest dearly, especially the Mirror Lake. The legendary lake was poisoned now, and there was no fixing that. This was their place now. "How are you?"

Stephen nodded. "I know what you mean, I missed our old place dearly," He replied. Home... only a place where you feel safe from danger, home... a place that you are use to, home... a place that you were ment to live at. His three deffentions for the word home.
"I'm doing good so far, I'm only going exploring and just to see how is this place is and isn't the same from our other home back before we had to head for the mountains," Stephen replied. He was really fine but the wolf really wants to tell her how he feels but afraid if she doesn't feel the same way for him or not. [/size][/center] |

Star nodded, understanding. Silence stretched for a few moments, then Star couldn't keep it in anymore. She sighed softly and said, "Remember when we were travelling during the blizzard, and I got hit by that rock?" She asked. "Remember what I said to you?"

Stephen nodded. "Yes I do, you said that you love me and Kunai," He said. "I told Kunai that when he try to escape and run towards you when you told me to get him and leave you." He was wondering if it was just the nice Star that he knew for a really long time or is it the Star that really really liked him. "I would told you the same thing but I got the little furball in my mouth," Stephen joked about Kunai a bit anyways. Where was Kunai anyways? [/size][/center] |

Star attempted to hide her crestfallen face, but was doing a horrible job at it. So he really doesn't care. Wow. She stood up abruptly, not looking at Stephen. " I should go."

Why did his rudeness have to come in when it was the biggest thing to tell her that he really cared for her. Star... I really need to tell you this... I don't know how to say this but sense I first saw you, you know when we were pups, I thought that you were a nice wolf. You still are but, then I fell for you," Stephen took a really deep breath. "A-As more than a friend?" She choked out, eyes wide with pleasant suprise. Wow. Wow. WOW. She'd never expected this in a million years! Star....Star was in love, and Stephen loved her back! It made her feel amazing! And not to mention there was now a lot of stress off of her shoulders.

Star smiled up at him, smiling widely. She batted at his ear playfully, like she used to when they were pups. "Catch me if you can!" She stood up and dashed a few feet away, kicking up snow as she went.

Some of the snow gotten into his eyes. He shook it off and just ran as fast as he can to catch up to Star. "Just did," he saw Star moved toward the right and he just went straight... toward a tree and crash. The snow made an impact and fell on top of him! [/size][/center] |

Star giggled a bit, then rushed forward to see if he was alright. "Stephen? Are you hurt?" She called softly, hoping he was alright. She began to the nose the snow away from his fur.

Stephen's head just went up out of the snow and knowest some red snow but not much. "No healer needed thank you Star," He told her and trying to figure out which part of his forehead is that were it hurts. [/size][/center] |

Star frowned with concern. "Are you sure? Melody wouldn't be bothered!" She said, thinking of the young, bright herb healer neophyte. Sedaka wasn't around much these days.
