Owen blinked, a giggle escaping him. "Aren't we a little old for adventure games? But hey, why not? I still don't think I should be a Blood Mist, though. Oh! How about we pretend to be the Siverians and Destinians instead? They always have the best fights!" He grinned sheepishly.

Anger flared in Kiba's chest. "Look, OWEN. I think YOU'RE the one who said you were GLAD TO SEE ME! DID YOU LIE? OF COURSE! BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU DO OWEN! You lie." Her voice cracked. "And for a moment there, I thought you actually liked me. I thought for once, I had someone who understands. But, you just had to ruin it. Do you want me to d-" She coughed up blood.

He glanced around frantically, not sure what to do. He couldn't take her to either medicine wolf. What about a loner? No, too far...
He racked his brain frantically for a solution while letting her lean against him.

Kiba sat down with a 'plop'. "Life is so CONFUSING. I want to be with you here, but I don't want my pack to be hurt by it... I should be indifferent of you... but I..." She stopped quickly. "Don't." she finished, choosing words that wouldn't make her sound like she was in love with him. And she wasn't. Was she?

Owen shrugged, looking down at his paws. "Whatever you want, Kiba. But with all due respect, if you....if you choose to be indifferent, then gatherings are it...and even then, maybe it's best if we just move on..." He trailed off, voice weakening. She didn't feel the same way; he could tell. Maybe they should just stop so he could try and make some use of his miserable existence...

The words burned into him, dissapointment, depression, desperation pulsing through his veins. The world seemed to spin, slightly. He backed away from Kiba warily. "Well if you want to be alone, then there's nothing left to be said," he woofed.
