Akemi sighed and started following Song's scent trail. Her eyes were also busy looking for any tansy. She thought she had saw some, but it turned out to be just another plant. She ran the rest of the way, thinking there wouldn't be anymore tansies in a while. She arrived where Song and Remy were, panting; she dropped the chickweed onto the ground. "I was able to find some chickweed... but no tansies. I can go back and keep looking if you want me to."

Song took the chickweed from Akemi. "That's alright, I suppose we can do without it for now, there's not time." Song slipped back into the den where Remus was laying in a half sedated state, amber eyes half open and breath rattling in his chest as he struggled to draw breath. Hoping the treatment would sooth him if nothing else, Song lowered her head near Remus's muzzle. "Remus, I need you to eat this" Song said in a soft, almost motherly voice.
Remus opened his mouth but turned away, coughing harshly, blood flecking the ground. When he turned back to Song he obediantly took the chickweed.
Song licked Remus's throat, trying to help him swallow. His throat was painfully swollen and Song wished she had juniper. The sickness created upset stomachs, vomitting blood, coughing and possible insanity. Song padded back to Akemi and Remy. "Akemi, did you see any juniper bushes on your way here?" Song asked. |

Akemi sat down and started thinking. "Maybe, I'm not sure. They could've been something else, though." She stood back up and quickly looked around. "Yea, I'm sure I did. I can go get some now."

"That would be great" Song said, looking around for some other helpful herbs though she doubted she'd find any soon. "Remy, could you help her?"
Remy nodded, leaping to his paws and looked over at Akemi, waiting for her to lead the way to where she had seen the juniper berries. His eyes were worried and he looked like he was about to crumble into dust if Remus died. |

Akemi nodded and turned and started trotting away. She kept her head low and sniffed at the ground. The scent of juniper berries seemed to be getting closer each step. Yes! This is it! She couldn't help doing a wide grin. She looked back curiously at Remy. "Can you smell that? I think we're getting closer to some."
