Of Daughters and Fathers (DESTINY!)

"Not if I'm around to bug you" Sierra said, slightly teasing as she bumped her muzzle against her sister's shoulder. The coppery pup smiled, tail wagging lazily behind her.

Sunblaze looked from Serra to Thite and her eyes narrowed slightly but she brushed the expression away and looked over at her parents. She wished dearly that she could have Akani back but...she knew Kojo and Faith would take care of her. They had tried their hardest to care for Serra and Sunblaze, tried so hard and yet they'd never really thanked them. Her eyes roamed to Thite's family. Though they were no blood relation to Sunblaze, she could see parts of them in the pups. Her gaze went to Thite, wondering how he would reply.

[Destiny]

Thite turned his gaze to Svel. Then to Gnaw and Bite, and finally Mila and Claw. For a very long time the brute was silent. An emotionless expression on his face. "After all you've done all you can do is aske to be forgiven?" He glared for a moment, then his expression lightened greatly. A smile on his maw. "Well your all lucky that i'm in a forgiving mood. Of course your all forgiven."

Yoru nudged her sisters shoulder. "Of course. Why didn't I think of that! I'll always have you here to annoy me." She rolled her eyes in mock annoyance.

Svel nipped her brother's ear playfully. "Well of course you are. Could you ever say no to this face?" She teased. The femme winced slightly as a pup kicked.

[Ärï]

Sunblaze narrowed her eyes thoughtfully as she looked at Svel, noticing the femme was quite pregnant. It was a fact she'd overlooked earlier, distracted by other...problems. "Tyme will help you relax" Sunblaze suggested. "When I was pregnant it helped settle my pups." Sunblaze glanced out of the corner of her eye at Sierra and Yoru.

Sierra giggled at her sister's annoyed look and grinned. "You know ya love me anyway" Sierra yipped confidently, tapping her sister with a paw.

[Destiny]

Yoru rolled her eyes. Batting playfully at her sister's ear.

Belle yawned and nuzzled close to Sunblaze.

Gnaw and Bite disentegrated, though Mila and Claw remained for several moments more before disentegrating as well.

Svel nodded to Sunblaze. "Thank you. Though I do wish the father was not him." She said the last part of the sentence quietly.She said the word with an emphesis. Her mind drifting back to the reddish ebony blood-lusting brute.

Faith looked sadly at Svel. She felt bad for the poor fae. Being raped was not a pleasent experience, she knew that all too well.

[Ärï]

Kojo brushed his muzzle lovingly against Faith's neck before bending his head to grip Akani's scruff. The pair faded away.

Sunblaze subconciously shifted a bit closer to the pup taking shelter beside her and giving Svel a silent, warning look. She knew the pup looked like that brute that had done horrid things to Svel but she would make sure Belle wasn't treated horribly because of an unfortunate DNA combination. "It doesn't always matter. Just because the father was bad doesn't mean a thing. Pups become like those that raise them." Sunblaze glanced meaningfully at Serra. They had been raised in a rough world, thus had become rough and tough themselves. That was just how it was.

Sierra ducked, her sister's paw nicking her ear. Sierra pounced onto Yoru, laughing though she was careful not to hurt her sister.

[Destiny]

Yoru giggled batting playfully at her sister's ear again. SHe laughed as Sierra sort of pounced on her.

Svel gazed at Sunblaze for several moments. "I suppose you are right." The femme jerked her head upward, hearing a warning howl only meant for her auds. "I best get back to the pack. Before Destiny goes telling Sirius i'm not on the terra." Sighing Svel rose to her paws and loped rather swiftly and gracefully off. "See yah!" She called over her shoulder as she disappeared into the trees.

Fate and Hope both dispeared into thin air. Gone back to the Twilight Realm. Faith remained for several seconds more, then the ghostly femme disappeared into the mist.

Thite glanced at Svel as she left. Smiling slightly.

Serra nodded to Sunblaze.

Sunblaze sighed and looked over at her pups.

Sierra nipped Yoru's ear and leapt up, prancing a few feet away, wagging her tail happily. "Come and get me Yoru!" Sierra barked playfully. Her eyes were alight even though the sun was starting to set. Sierra felt restless, she wanted to play.

Sunblaze laughed lightly as she looked over at Sierra's over-eager eyes. "If you two go to play, don't wonder far" she warned in true mother fashion, resting her head on one of Thite's paws.

[Destiny]

Leaping to her paws Yoru nipped Sierra on the ear. "Your it!" She barked excitedly. Running around her sister in circles several times before taking off and zigzagging around the area.

Thite nuzzled Sunblaze's pelt. The brute gazed up at the sky. He smiled. "I still say that an actualy sunset can't compare to the beauty of your pelt." He murmured quietly, so as not to wake up little Belle.

[Ärï]

Sunblaze smiled and sighed. "I'm just an immitation, you know that. Kojo was the first." Sunblaze couldn't help but thank Twilight her father had been freed from whatever prison had held him before he had managed to escape to the lands where he met her mother. She was lucky to be born, raised and remain a free wolf. The runin with Svel and the others had reminded her how lucky she was that Thite had fathered her pups, and not some horrid slave-keeper. Sure they'd both been young and definately not prepared, but it always could have been worse.

Sierra yipped when Yoru nipped her ear and sprang after her sister, kicking up sand as she ran. The pup gained on Yoru. If she tried she could nip her sister's tail but knew better then to do that.

[Destiny]

Yoru could hear her sister close on her tail. The little pup quickly began to pick up speed. One day she'd run like Svel. Racing the wind and the eagle and winning. One day.

Thite smiled and gave her a loving lick on the muzzle. "Some day i'll have to rememeber to ask Kojo and Faith about before. About how they found each other." He murmured quietly.

Serra flicked one ebony aud. "Well, i'm off. It seems you will no longer be in need of my services Thite. But remember, just howl. I'm never far." With that the massive femme lept to her paws and darted off into the shadows of the forest.

[Ärï]

"Mother told me once, a long time ago" Sunblaze murmured. Glancing from her retreating sister to her mate, her eyes darkened a shade but Sunblaze hid it well. Apparently when Thite had been running around away from her, he'd been running with Serra. Sunblaze wasn't sure if that annoyed her or not.

Sierra stumbled a little, surprised by her sister's speed. It seemed out of all the genes Sierra could have gotten from her sizable family, enhanced speed was not one of them. Oh well. Give and take, beggers couldn't be choosers. Sierra leapt over a fallen tree branch and as she came down, her paw hit the ground wrong, sending Sierra tumbling.

[Destiny]

Thite glanced at Sunblaze. Carefully reading her expression. He gave her a crooked smile. "It wasn't like that sweetheart. I was worried about you and the pups so I had Serra keep watch from the shadows. It cost me a delicious buck but I had to make sure you were well taken care of in case I died from the disease." His tone was soft and loving.

Yoru;s auds perked as she heard her sister tumble. Making a u-turn she dashed back to Sierra's side to make sure she was okay.

[Ärï]

Sierra blinked and rolled onto her side, having landed on her belly. She coughed a few times, winded from the fall and winced. Her paw hurt. Sierra licked the swelling front left paw and tried not to whimper. Yoru was usually the stronger sister. Sierra always just tried to keep quiet.

Sunblaze sighed softly and looked after the path her sister had taken. "She's a better aunt then Hope and Fate, a better sister." Sunblaze turned her head and brushed her muzzle against Thite's but her ears swerved. Turning her head, Sunblaze looked over at where the pups were. "Thite...could you go check on the girls?" Sunblaze couldn't leave the sleeping Belle without waking her.

[Destiny]

Yoru bent over her sister. Examing the swelling paw. Long pink tounge rasped over the bleeding foot.

Thite gave Sunblaze an affectionate lick on the cheek. "Of course sweetheart." Rising to his snowy paws the brute stepped over his mate and padded towards his playing daughters. Sierra was sitting on the ground with Yoru bending over her, or that's what it looked like to him. Approaching his daughters he called out. "Everything okay?" A worried edge to his tone.

Belle yipped in her sleep. Rolling over the little pup nuzzled closer to Sunblaze.

[Ärï]

Sierra smiled at Thite. "We're fine" she barked brightly. She wasn't gonna make everybody worry over something as small as a hurt paw. Leaping to her paws though keeping weight off her hurt paw, Sierra wagged her tail happily. "I'm going to hunt for a little bit ok?" Smiling at Yoru and warning her not to tell with her eyes, Sierra padded toward the trees.

Sunblaze watched as her daughter started off toward the trees. Her ears flicked, showing a little worry. Still relativly attached to her pups, Sunblaze didn't like them going too far away from her. Sierra would be fine though, she was sure of it.
