Merci smiled as the brute vanished. It wasn't just a healer's gentle smile, it was an affectionate look, a softened smile gracing her features beautifully.

Halo appeared at the edge of the meadow, padding toward his sister. "Well?" he asked softly.

"Packs aren't where we belong. We are too foolish to think such things" Merci decided. "Go if you'd like. I'm a healer. I should wonder wherever others need me."

"Then I'll walk with you" Halo promised, touching his white muzzle against his sister's shoulder. "Do you want to follow him?"

"No" Merci said softly. "I will come only when he howls for me."

"Merci" Halo said in a warning tone.

"No arguing Halo. Let's go find a bit of land for ourselves."

yeppers. we should have them meet again. the only problem is merci is a healer but she doesn't do much healing. maybe she could do a checkup on mosca and fell sees her or something?
