Mirage released Liv almost as soon as she was safe. Bounding to the edge of the cliff, Mirage let her head look down and vomited. Her mouth was sore and tingly. When her belly had emptied itself, Mirage sat back on her hunches, trembling ever so slightly. Touching was one thing but that had been a little too much. "Yeah" Mirage agreed though she tried to ignore the burning lingering in her jaws. "Are you ok?" she asked, looking over at her.

"I'm fine...alright....let's go...." Liv panted. She still walked swiftly, but a little more carefully.

Rising to her paws, Mirage followed Liv, keeping up easily. Her dark paws skimmed the stone as they climbed. It didn't take long for the burning in her mouth to disappear. Mirage was glad she hadn't had to hold onto Liv for much longer. That would have been really pushing it. Tossing the thought from her mind, Mirage focused and sped up a bit to keep up with Liv.

The black shadow reguarded the two with mild curiosity. Then, Lupus sank into the shadows and slithered after the wolves. For some reason, he felt drawn to the others... Maybe because he missed other wolves as well...
