Liviana climbed up the steep, slowly, mountainside. She paused to help her friend Blue Moon scramble up to the top. Siveria and Arroyo hadn't returned yet, and Liv was starting to get very worried, Silenthowl was gone, too. She'd turned to Nightshade in her time of momentary panic, and the pack put her, Liviana, in front. At first she hadn't understood why they trusted her so quickly. She was true and loyal, but she was also new to the pack. After a while, she decided it did make a little sense. Liviana had traveled into the mountains before. She knew where she was going, at least.
Howls of pain and grief rang far in the distance, echoing off of the stone peaks above them. Liv dropped back a bit to make sure everyone was keeping up. "There's a large cave in about five miles. We should all be able to fit...it will be a good place to wait and rest!" She called to her packmates.

Fade bounded to her sister's side. "I hope to the Heavens above that no bears decided to make their home there," she muttered, her dark fur bristling. "It probably looked very attractive to a wandering one."
Coal scented the air, searching about as he padded foward.

Accalia walked close to Gaara. "Or maybe snakes! or even giant spiders that suck that blood out of their victims."
Gaara rolled his eyes. "One, if there were snakes, we can all probably take thm on unless they were poisonous. Two, there are no such things as giant spiders that suck blood. The end." He raised his tail joyfully and stuck his tongue out at Accalia.

Hazel walked beside Soul. She flickered her ears around for a wild and heard everyone speaking. She glared at Acceila...as if the pack its self wasnt worrying over everything else. She was ustally a well humored fae....but problems with her family had made her patients run thin and make her colder then usual. She sighed and looked over at Liv who was a loyal wolf...but could tell that she didnt no the reaction of fellow Silver Mist wolves. She walked up to her and brushed her fur againsts hers. "Your doing fine", she woofed to her softly and nodded.
Soul fallowed Hazel and looked at her packmates. She hadnt seen her brother in much time...it was beinging to worry her the most. Her dark blue gaze darted from face to face, searching for her mothers or Lukes face. She lowered her head and let her ears droop to the side. Once more she was alone.
Polo fallows at the end of the pack makeing sure that they all catch up. He was the barely noticed one in the pack. The one that was allways quiet but allways there. He turned his gaze to the talking fae. He stared at her and turned away. He grabbed a pup who was getting tired and carried him over to the faes. He set him down and walked away casually.

Riley came up next to Soul, licking her head affectionately. "Have you seen your brother?" He asked in an undertone.
Liviana breathed deeply. "Thank you, Hazel." She gave the kinda fae a half-smile, then turned to her sister. "There wasn't when I went...and that was three days ago. I suppose there COULD be a bear, but we'd scent it from two miles out. They have a rather rank odor, after all. If that's the case, we'll find shelter among the rocks. There's plenty of caves around here..." It felt odd to be in the spotlight, and she brushed Fade's fur for comfort. Her thoughts were beginning to drift toward Lucinda and Diablo....would they be proud of she and Fade if they could see them now?
Nightshade shot a warning glance at Accalia. "Hush up! This is the hardest thing any of us have ever done. I know you mean to lighten the mood, Acca, but save it for when we get there!" She barked.
About a mile back, Siv nudged her mate lightly forward. He was strong, she knew that, but she was worried about him travelling with the condition Mephisto had put him in. She recalled seeing Destiny fly off into a blind rage. It had unnerved her deeply. The silver fae was different than usual;; her eyes reflected cold, steely determination, with flickers of warmth and compassion for her pack. That's all that mattered now;; the pack.

Light rusteling of the leaves was heard as paws hit the ground only to be picked up again in a run. The beautiful fae ran through the forest, guided by the scent of her pack. She was far behind from everyone. Even Siv who was slower then the pack. She was determind to arrive at there new home...with EVERYONE in the back. But her mind kept wondering to Dusk and Ember....what ever happened there? She kept her lean body in a quick travel thinking about them two the whole way.
Soul smiled a little at Rielys touch. "No I havent", she barked worried and frowned. Would she loose her brother and mother this time?
Hazel gave the fae a returning smile. She stopped and flickered her ears towards Apollo, who she saw carring a pup. She looked over the crowed for Magic but so none of him. She took a deep breath and turned around fallowing Liv and Fade.

Liv noted silently that Silenthowl was coming up behind Siv and Arroyo and Magic, who were near the rear of the group. Two miles to go, and now bear scent. "All should be clear, but we'll investigate when we get there." She howled, trying to convey the message to the whole of the pack.
Annelise, tiny and small, had tripped a while back. No wolf had noticed her. The tiny pup still had hope, however. Siv and her companions had passed,....but perhaps Silenthowl would see her?

Silenthowl flew past the little pup, but stopped a few yards away, padding back and sniffing around for a second. She looked at Annlies and smiled. "Good I didnt miss you there", she smiled a beautiful soft smile. She picked her up by the scruff softly and kept a steady trot. She knew she was getting closer.

"Oof!" was all Annelise could say in response.
Liviana let out a warning howl, and stopped dead. Ahead of her, the rockface changed in color. In many places, it was scarred and marked with soot. She glanced worriedly at Fade. "Everyone needs to be extremely careful. Keep your claws in check...one trip or scrape could mean a fire...." She studied the rock a bit further, noting that there was also the strong scent of singed fur. "Continue....but slowly."

A pair of eyes glared out of the opening of the dark cave. A low growl came from a mouth laced with glinting teeth. Greying fur ruffled in the dark. Glinting, ragged claws flexed. A strong, rank scent filled the air.

An old, gray wolf stepped out of the opening, snarling. His eyes widened and his mouth sat, agape. "Uh-uh Uh. W-why're ya'll hare?"
(he has a country accent XD)

Liviana snarled in frustration. "Look, wolf, I have a large pack here. We're staying in this cave, and you aren't. In the morning, we'll leave. That's that. Now get out of here before I hurt you." She sighed, hoping this thing took the hint.

The wolf let out a cough-like snarl. He started dodging back and forth. "Wanna *cough* fight Miss Big-Headed? I'll rip you to peices I will!" He then let out a shudder and fell over, letting out many heaving coughs. "This is *heave* my cave!"

Kar bounded up, glaring at the older wolf. "Listen, mister... my daddy is hurt! We need to use this cave now!" The pup was trying to be brave in front of his peers.
Fade raised a brow as the pup ran up.
