Moon shook her head. "No. I fell and hit my head." Moon turned her head to show the dried blood staining one side of her face. She hadn't yet gotten to cleaning it off. Moon had forgotten about it during her talk with Clove. "Torn found me but I really don't think he cares all that much. He used to be my best friend but now...."

Nezero gazed sadly at her."It's because I love you as much as he does.Jealousy is a horrible thing. This is all my fault.I shoul've just died in that cave all those moons ago.Instead I had to go and live.Only to cause the only wolf I could ever love such a deep agony."A single crystal tear dripped from his eye and slid to the ground.
Silence was slowly appraoching now.Trying not to drop any herbs.

"Hush, don't talk like that" Moon said softly though her words were firm. Moon rested her muzzle on his. Her elegant ivory auds twisted toward Silence. She heard the fae approaching. She hoped Silence could help. Moon didn't want Nero feeling bad about being alive. Moon was glad he was there.

Nezero sighed.Too exhausted and tired to argue with her.
Silence reached Nezero. She shoved a few scrapes of herbs in front of his mouth. Then began pushing moss onto the wounds to help stop the bleeding.
Nezero quickly ate the herbs.

Slowly, Moon rose to her paws and started off toward where BlackMist was resting. She glanced back toward Silence. "Bring him back to BlackMist when he can walk. Night can meet him if she wants." Moon turned and continued walking toward the pack. Moon felt very confused. First Torn then Nezero, then them fighting over her and now this. It was tearing her apart and giving her a constant headache, more then the fall had.

Raven woke very early in the morning. She could see the first rays of dawn lighting the den. But most of all, the wind. It howled and roared with such a ferocity she was sure they would be unable to travel. Maybe not? She stood up, careful not to wake Romeo, Shasta, and Robin, and peered out of the entrance.
Snow. It was everywhere, and it was THICK. But after sniffing the air for severaly moments, it became clear that this was not the worst of the storm. No...it would turn into a full blown blizzard in a matter of hours. She looked to Night, wondering if they would stay or flee.

Night sat at the edge of the den, having barely slept. Nightmares had continued to ravage her sleep, disturbing her slumber. Now watching the stormy gray clouds drift lazily across the sky, she sighed. More storms. More blizzards. More hardship. The Alphess turned, looking at Raven. "We might be staying here longer than we hoped," she murmured.

Raven nodded. There was no point in trying to run from Winter....
Winter would always catch up.
And indeed, these new winds brought a smell that these wolves had hoped never to scent again....
Blood Mist. They'd been named aptly, for they reeked of death and blood. The red wolves were not visible in the onslaught of the strom, but they were coming, that was for sure. Raven curled protectively around her pups. This was horrid. Utterly, compeltely horrid. They couldn't leave, that would be suicide. Who knew how far off Blood Mist were? At least the storm would slow them down....

Axle shook any snow that had fallen on his pelt. He hadn't been to sleep at all and was really tired. He stood up and staggered over to the dens. He fell down right in the entrance of the den his father was in. "So tired. How'd you train to become so strong?"
"I train in the ways of long ago," was Avalanche's reply. "The battle moves long forgotten by many, but remembered by few." He smiled and walked out the den. He went to stand in the same spot Axle was. He sniffed the air a few times and felt his fur start to bristle. His lips were back in a snarl, but he stayed where he was. Looking at the mountains.

Raven also found another scent on the furious winds. It was both familiar and welcome, though it held an edge of panic.
Grey Mist. They weren't far from here, and by the scent, they'd noticed Blood Mist as well. Raven shuffled uneasily. So Grey Mist were running.... Neither option was noble; run or hide. It was all a matter of life or death. There was no predicting which way would work. It seemed they were ultimately damned.

Soot perked his auds at the distant sound of fotosteps. The group of wolves that came across the horizon was small. Not a pack. But a group of loners. They were running for their lives by the looks of it.Soot scented the air.Three faes. All loners. The very distant scent of Blood Mist came to him.As did the scent of Grey Mist.Which was drawing steadily nearer. They were on the run. From Blood Mist no doubt.
Silence nodded briskly before she returned to Nezero. Most of the bleeding had ceased by now.But a deep cut on one shoulder was still oozing scarlet blood.
Nezero winced as Silence pressed hard against his worst cut.Solomly he watched as Moon left him.
Shinya slep silently.

Panic gripped Sharpie as his thoughts, too, lingered on Clove. Clove, his dearest, most forgotten daughter.... why? Why had this happened? Why couldn't they have stopped it? These thoughts pirced him like fangs of poison, but this was not was panicked him. I doubt I even have to say this: Blood Mist. Clove, out there in the cold...all alone.... she was barely a neophyte! And with Blood Mist this close to them, there was no way she was even remotely safe....unless she kept moving? Yes, that was likely...Clove would not linger in any place for long, he knew that for a fact. If she kept moving, maybe stopping to rest every few days or so, she might make it out of these hills of snow and ice...
and fire. The rocks here lit aflame quite easily....it was an odd sort of thing, but true. If a battle broke out, the falmes might lead to some uneccessary death....

Avalanche flicked a ear in anger. He could scent something on the wind. He looked at Sharpie for a moment, thinking that he had scented the same thing. Both of his ears were now flat against his head. He shook one paw that was covered with snow. He was trying his best to keep himself calm.

The proxy, after moments of silence among the pack, stood up and padded over to Night. "Night?" He asked. No more words were needed. The scent was rank and clear, and Grey Mist were coming nearer. As two packs, there was a better chance they could make it through the blizzard or defend themselves. However, there was no doubt in his mind that they would die if it came to an outright battle.

Tisana jerked her head up. She sniffed the air. Blood Mist. And blood from Nero, but she could tell that he had been taken care of. She got up and wandered through the cave, checking for any signs of sickness. She was on her toes this time of year. She hurried over to Raven. "How is the little one's cough doing, hun?" she asked sweetly.
Holly got up and stretched, then plopped down again, thinking of Clove.
Light stood at the entrance of the cave, looking at the snow packed outside. He feared for his pack.
