Black Mist & Grey Mist {The Voyage Continues}

[Destiny]

Destiny perked her auds and raced after Emmet.Black Mist was hear.That was good.Travelling as two packs would be much safer than travelling as one.

Silence shoved Nezero forward until they were with the Black mist wolves.Then she padded past him.Touching her tail to his shoulder so she might guide him.

Nezero followed patiently.

Silence noticed Star and padded over.Grey Mist scent was on the fae and at this she narrowed her eyes.Quikcly she scented the femmes wounds.The she touched Moons shoulder.Alerting her that Nezero was here and he was the small faes resposibility.Then the femme disappeared to go and find herbs.

Moon rose to her paws and padded over to Nezero. She knew Silence was the only one that would touch and not speak. In away, both faes were the same. Both blind, either in vision or sound. Moon had begun growing used to the simple touch rather then sound. She even had grown acute to Silence's paculiar scent. "Feeling better Nero?" Moon asked softly.

[Destiny]

Nezero smiled."Much.That fae works wonders.Whatever she gave me to eat it stopped the bleeding and I feel much more energized."His voice did not hold it's once kind tone.Just longing and sadness.

Silence shoved her nose through the snow.Looking for herbs.There were'nt many around.No cobwebs.Maybe she could find some moss?

Moon heard his odd tone and flicked her ears curiously. "Nezero....don't tell me you have a crush on Silence" Moon teased, smiling playfully. Moon giggled lightly, leading Nero away from the ring of wolves. Silence could take care of things and the other wolves were more then willing to help her find moss or cobwebs.

[Destiny]

Nezero laughed dryly."Not at all Moon.Not at all."He limped after her.

Silence found the moss she needed.But the femme knew that was not enough for what was wrong with the Grey Mist fae.

Moon sat back on her hunches and turned her head toward Nezero's voice. "Then is something troubling you? You sound...different." Moon wasn't an empath but she heard the subtle shifts in his voice. Something was wrong and he wasn't telling. Moon wished he would, she wanted to help. He seemed so different...."Are you still sad that I left you?" Moon asked quietly.

[Destiny]

Nezero looked straight at her.He let the tears pour because he knew she could not see them."I'll never stop missing you Moon."He murmurerd.

"Who said you had to miss me? I'm not going anywhere, at least not as far as I know" Moon barked, surprised by Nero's statement. Leaning forward, Moon touched his cheek and was surprised to find his fur was wet there and it smelled salty. "Nero, don't waste tears on me" Moon murmured, licking his cheek. "I'm not going anywhere."

[Destiny]

Nezero just smiled.Licking her affectionately on the head."Yah.I know."He murmered.

Silence dug around.Nothing.Finally she took the moss and padded back towards Star and the Black Mist wolves.

Star's eyes opened wide. "There....was a stone...branches....things flying! Blizzard...and...Blood Mist....is on the horizon....we need to....leave...." She rasped, knowing they needed to know the whole truth, or at least as much as she could tell. She wondered desperately where Kunai and Stephen were....
Stephen.
She'd told him she loved him. He'd never said it back. It made her deeply depressed, and she knew now that they would never be....she would never have pups of her own, either.
Kunai.
Her dearest friend. It felt like he WAS her own pup, though he wasn't of her blood. She missed and fretted about him, as well. Was they alright?
Were they here?

Avalanche perked his ears. Blood Mist... what a drag. He sighed and looked in the direction the fae had come from. He stood tall for awhile, sniffing the air. His tail bristled a little bit, but not much. "Just what we needed. I wonder if Night knows about this."

Axle walked back over and stood next to his father. His tail lashed once, then stayed still.

Moon padded back to Star, bending her head to listen to the poor femmora. "I see" Moon murmured soothingly. "Its ok Star, you're safe here. We're all safe so you just need to rest for a little bit ok? Then we'll take ok?" Moon touched her nose lightly against Star's muzzle, a soothing gesture. Moon kept her words soothing and calm, so Star wouldn't freak out and hurt herself worse.

[Destiny]

SIlence began examining Star's wounds.Carefully sniffing and checking each in turn.Carefully she applied some moss to help stop the bleeding.While pressing the moss down with one paw the femme used the other to push some herbs in front of Stars maw.Signalling that they needed to be eaten and quickly.

Nezero glanced down."But it seems like your a world away."He murmurered as Moon went back to deal with Star.Nezero truly felt like he was alone in the world.No family.He really did'nt have Moon.What did he have?His life.Yet it was a pointless one.

Nezero's words didn't miss Moon's sensative ears. Moon raised her head and instantly felt horrible. Her tail drooped, tucking slightly. She'd thought she was doing the right thing helping Silence care for Star but it seemed Nero was telling her something she wasn't hearing. Moon slunk away from the wolves, ears flicking uneasily. Moon was sure she was alone now. She sat beside a stone, its cold hard surface brushing her soft white fur. "It feels like it" Moon murmured. Nezero would never see the world as she did. Neither would Torn. She was just meant to be alone. Her heart felt twisted and confused but Moon wouldn't let it show, even when she was all alone.

[Destiny]

Nezero rose un-steadily to his paws.He could not stay here.It was killing him to see Moon.And it was killing him not to see her.Why could'nt he just die?On three legs Nezero began to slowly and un-steadily limp away from the Black Mist wolves.For a moment he glanced away.The Grey Mist wolves could easily be seen now.The white fae.That was the alphess.Destiny was her name he thought.The scent of Blood Mist was un-mistakeable.Nezero limped un-steadily a few more pawsteps.He was away from the pack.But Moons scent still hung in the air.She must have moved away from the pack too.But he could not see her.He limped over behind a rock.So that the wolves would not see him.Then slid down alongside it.The brute lay on his side in the snow.it's snowy whiteness framing him and glittering as it fell from the sky to land on his pelt.Eyes gazed off into nothing.Dull.tired.Sorrowful.Longing. His heart was dead.Not physically. Emotionally.
