Black Mist & Grey Mist {The Voyage Continues}

Silver opened one eye. "I don't remember you being so vain. At least keep quiet so the rest of us can sleep." Silver curled up with her back to Zuni, facing toward Grug, tail curled around her hind legs like a cat preparing to sleep. It seemed a few things had changed about Zuni. He had once been quiet, at least not this....odd. Maybe Silver had just been a little blind but oh well, if this was the new him she could take it or leave it.

Ada now looked away from the three wolves talking. Her ears with out warning had caught a bit of their conversation but she still said nothing. She hadn't moved from her spot she had been sitting in from the time she came in from the snow. Pale blue orbs once again looked around at all the wolves. It felt like the wind was caught in her throat. She could feel a nasty cough coming her way but she held her mouth shut. She closed her eyes as the cough having no other way out ended up become a sneeze. Through she tried the cough came anyways. She felt like it was burning and tried to sallow to make the burning stop.

Although she new she needed to get some sleep Ada slowly stood up from her sitting position. Her joints weren't hurting; she was a young wolf warrior. But her paw pads burnt like hellfire. She didn't even notice she was holding her breath as she stood up. Letting it out, she walked over to the entrance and stepped out side. Looking over the snowy land. Sniffing the air to see if she could tell how far Blood Mist was on their trail.

Tumbleweed laughed. "Not on my watch. I might get banished or something..." He winked playfully.

[Ärï]

Snowstorm managed a tired smile for Tumbleweed's sake and closed her eyes for a moment. "I'm sorry" she murmured, the word almost not loud enough to be heard. "I told Mirage to tell you that if she found you but I guess she's nowhere to be found." Snowy sighed softly. "I'm a fool, I should have just died in that cave."

[mudfang]

"No, no." Tumbleweed said calmly. He looked up worriedly. "But you have to get up as soon as possible. We have to go. Bood Mist is coming. Fast."

Snowstorm chuckled dryly. "Now Tumbleweed you know I'm not a wolf that can rush. Go, take Illusion with you and if you see Mirage, take her too. Be safe wherever you're going. I'll figure out something." Snowy sighed and looked at her crippled limb pitifully. "Besides, I'd only slow them down, no need for wolves to die over me."

[mudfang]

"Okay, if you perfer to be ripped apart by savage wolves." Tumbleweed laughed. "It's not my choice."

Snowstorm sighed and tried to push herself up. It was slow work before she was finally on all three working paws, her crippled leg held a bit off the ground, wincing now and then. It had been aching worse then usual recently. Snowy kept the winces off her face as she looked toward Tumbleweed with a wary smile. The fae sighed and limped a step closer, testing her paws. Snowy sighed softly, not quite at ease. "Well before I die Tumbleweed I want to say this, I'm sorry. I know I've said it once but.....I doubt it'll ever make a difference."

Tumleweed smiled and said nothing. He sat down. He turned his head to one side, thinking. He sniffed the air. Blood Mist's rank odor filled his nostrils. He called to Tisana. "Are you done with Star? We're ready to go."

Tisana gritted her teeth and slathered chewed nettle on Star's wounds, not caring if there was or wasn't swelling. She then coated Star's entire body except her paws, tail, and head with chewed comfrey and a layer of cobwebs. Star ws beginning to look like a giant, furry marshmellow. XP Tisana stuffed some herb in Star's mouth and turned around. "All set!" she said, clearly chipper to be permitted to make her patient a giant edible junk food.

Oh no... the loving part... grr... well it was o.K. becuase... it was Star, she is the guardian and she will do whatever to make her happy too. Kunai felt the nuzzel from Star. Man.... he really missed her. "Everything is alright," Oh yay. A new nick name, that would be fun.

Kunai heard from right next to his guardian if they stay and that if they did stay then Blood Mist would kill all of them before we even get a chance. That really made him sad enough already. The only thing that Black Mist and Gray Mist could only do is that they keep on moving so they could get to the other two mist packs like Star said anyways.
