The smells of Grey Mist and Black Mist washed over them like a rising tide. But, along with these familiar scents of relief, there was a rotteness. For though they'd reached a point of both familiarity and relief, they'd also reached a point of pain and suffering beyond the works of any imagination in exsistence.
Mist pulled up, spine prickling ominously. Grey Mist and Black Mist were next to them, backing out and barking in panic. The sickly-sweet smell of crimson blood stained the mountains, reaching and grasping for them from the shadows of the trees, from the depths of the fog. The night was dark, in fact, it was morning, but darkness still held tight over head.
"White Mist, get the pups into the fox dens! We need to hold this place for as long as possible!" She barked over head. The wind was picking up, and ever so slowly, crimson eyes flickered open to gaze upon the honorable ones in the clearing.
Siveria's eyes opened wide in suprise. She hadn't been expecting this...no...not now...she still had a few precious days left... But she it was now that the dance would begin. And untill the twenty-first, on the blood dawn, it would rage.
She stepped forward, startling white teeth strained with hostility. Her icy cold glare met those of her challengers, and it was clear that battle was only inches away from encasing them all.
The silvery-blue femmora stepped forward, eyes alight with coldfire and resignation. In what could've been the voice of winter herself, she spoke,
"Bones break and blood drips, eyes grow bloodshot and hearts rip, The cruel goddess Verlust, has erased every drop of trust, There will be seven, who reach the one last heaven, who stop the blood and war, who no wolf noticed much before, and now the blood dawn draws near, to end the heartbreak and tears, to erase the panic and fear, so let them light the way, to the last safe place..."
She took to the rocks, so as she could see above the rest of them, even the tyrants of Blood Mist. "This will all end in tragedy..." She whispered to the wind, breaking the tensions at the fringes of the lines.
And so started the infinite battle that destiny had sent to encompass them all.

Axle's still gone. Surely he wouldn't run away from something like this? Oh well... Avalanche let all worries leave out of his mind and glared at the challengers. This is it. The battle that will end all. He closed his eyes for a moment, and opened them back up. "What a drag..."
Accalia stared back at the eyes of the challengers. Every hair on her pelt was bristling. Her teeth was back in a snarl. Her ears were flat against her head and her tail twitched angrily. "You ready, Gaara?"
Gaara just nodded and looked on with eyes half-closed. He was actually... calm. Then again, he was usually always calm. He stood up straight with eyes flashing to one wolf to another. He was also oddly quiet.
Akane and Aimi stayed silent.

Azari approached Mist, having sent Nova to the dens with Desel and the other pups in WhiteMist. Though he would prefer Tundra to be with them, he doubted his mate would simply remain behind when the packs went to fight. The smells of GreyMist and BlackMist were heavy in the air though the blood-like smell that accompanied BloodMist made his spine tingle. Ari bounded up to Mist. "Mist, do you think we have a chance against this?" Azari murmured to the Alphess, his clear eye scanning the surrounding tyrant wolves as he took a half step back.

Morning Star had managed to once again slip past BloodMist, but this time there was something nagging at the back of her mind. The sight of that pup with the brute Azari kept nagging at her. She remembered the sight of all the wolves and suddenly couldn't bear to allow BloodMist to take them. She turned, wondering why she even cared. She hated packs. Nonetheless, she turned and curled her teeth. Running as fast as she could, her yellow-white coat glistened in the light, her green orbs searching for traps. She'd help the two packs fight BloodMist, and wonder why the entire time. She couldn't supress a snarl as she smelled the bloody smell of the enemy.
Eli watched as the femmoras took the pups away, and the packs stood face-to-face, ready for battle. He almost couldn't react but he managed to curl his lip and give a low, menacing growl. The battle was coming, everyone knew it. He couldn't think straight, with all the tension in the air along with the stench of BloodMist. But nonetheless he stood, ready for the fight.

Luin watched from her place beneath the pine trees. Packs of wolves ready to fight, the blood of her kin, GreyMist, hovering in the very air she breathed. The fae knew that it would end here. Everything. Luin heard Siveria speak the prophecy and knew.
But now she waited for the right time to fight. She as a Rogue, who most knew didn't take sides, had a reason to be here. BloodMist had taken her family, her former pack, and BlackMist. What more was there to take?
Luin watched the pups leave. A battle was no place for younglings. The fae looked for those she knew. Coldfire repelled from battle for fear of his former self, so he could not be here. No others could she find. Luin was alone, without friend or family.

Mist turned to Azari, light, blue-grey eyes dull with sorrow, yet sharp with determination all at once. "We won't go down without a fight, Azari. For now, that's the best we can do," was her solemn answer. She turned, howling a battle cry that rang through the clearing, echoing off the nearby peaks. "White Mist, ATTACK!" She charged, tearing at the enemy nearest to her.
Risika let out a snarl of hostility, rushing to meet Mist. She side-stepped the alpha's first swipe, but winced as claws ripped through her ear. She kicked out at Mist, giving her a large, black and bloody wound to her flank. She bit deep into the wond, then felt Mist sink her fans into her neck. Her eyes widened in suprise as she felt blood flow freely from the bite in great gushes. It was clear this battle wasn't just any fight;; it was to the death.

Azari nodded and gazed at the BloodMist wolves facing them. A low snarl rumbled like thunder in his chest. The lanky brute leapt down the boulders, springing nimbly at a BloodMist wolf, jaws parted, fangs itching to tear apart the BloodMist wolves endangering his family.
Gemini let out a sharp snarl before springing after Ari, slender maw opened to clamp onto the flesh of one of the rotten wolves trying to kill them all. Now it was kill or be killed. You either fought or you'd die.

Akane rested his tail on his sister's shoulder. "Come on. If we die, we'll be known to die as heroes. Right!?" He leaped into the air right to the first wolf that met his eyes. If it's a fight to the death they want, its a fight to the death they get! But since my sister and I are younger, we might as well weaken the opponent.
"Where are you going, eh?" asked Zacharia, looking towards Akane. He wasn't snarling, but he kept his head and tail low. He was also smiling. He stepped on Akane's tail before he could go anywhere. "This is too dangerous for a little dwarf like you to be fighting in. But... I'm afraid to say I must kill you, eh?"

Tundra was far from her mate as from her pups. She had told Desel and Nova to stay in a den with some White Mist fae. Tho she didnt trust the pack today she shall fight...but not for the pack...for her family. Slending limbs took there move. Skilled killer, bold fighter, vast murder she was. She kept her periceing gaze on those wolves not makeing the slightest snarl, she kept her bodice in a threating posture ready to kill anyone who crossed her path...lets fight.
Silenthowl lowered her dial leting out a snarl. White fangs bared, the beautiful fae stood her grown. She was sick of this, and everything else that kept on ruining Sivs lasts days of glory of seeing light. Silenthowl let the fur on her back stand on its ends...makeing the usually calm proxy, look like hell. She shook her head and barked loudly as a threat...for now...threats would be nothing....blood will be spilled today...
Hazel was silent her head low, hazel eyes landing on one cursed on......she barked loudly to that fae pinning her ears to her head aggressivly. Riskia was the one she wanted to fight....but will both come out alive?

Sylvana rushed Tundra, darting out of nowhere. The slender fae had muscle, yes, but speed was her deadly weapon. Her venomous glare tore at Tundra, and her teeth were pulled back in the deadliest smile...a smile only the most twisted of fiends could wear. "Want to play, pet?" She cackled, dlivering a sharp bite to Tundra's ear.
Risika turned, dashing from the Alpha's deadly grip. She didn't stand a chance against Mist...Mist was too experianced...too furious.... When she first layed her gaze on Hazel, she could scarcely believe that it was truly her; that her sister was really standing before her right now. "Oh ho ho! Well, let's see what we have here...hmm?" She smiled widely and dashed at Hazel, kicking at the wolf's face with black, sharpened claws.
Snare came up behind Silenthowl, fangs flashing with blood lust. She sunk her claws deep into Silenthowl's back and raked in an attempt to scar the proxy. She gave the fae a good kick to the stomach, also.

At the sound of "ATTACK!!', Luin bounded from her hiding spot and rammed unnoticeably into a muscular BloodMist's side. As she did, the fae heard the sound of breaking ribs on impact. Her skull was strong, fangs sharp, and her fighting well-trained. She would fight this way. Luin bit into another wolf's neck, pushing her teeth down as far as they would allow.

Shinya stood snarling infront of a fox den before Dusty pushed her inside and lept on a Blood Mist wolf. The huge fae shook her pelt and sent Dusty flying into a tree. He twisted, pushing off the tree with his paws moments before he hit the hard trunk and slammed into the fae, Guts's, side.
Tisana ushered the pups into a fox den and lept into battle. She had been a warrior before. Tumbleweed would take care of wounded while the battle was fresh on the wind, and the smell of blood had not yet filled the air. She could be of help with fighting until that horrid moment. Her breath was knocked out of her as a small, yet meaty, wolf landed on her back. The fae rolled Tisana over. The herb healer looked into raging, insane eyes.
The fae laughed crazily. "Time to die! I wasted my entire life on you packs! Now... you die!" the fae barked, the gleam of hatred and something less sinister in her eyes.
Tisana looked up. "Faun?"
A strong, powerful brute watched from the shadows. "That's right sister. Avenge. Kill."
Light slammed into the brute. "I TRUSTED YOU THOTH!"
Svend slammed into a staggering Blood Mist brute, Gore.
Holly slammed into a Blood Mist wolf and Torn slammed the wolf's other side.
(anybody can be that wolf... I ran out XP)

Blue Moon snarled in shock and disbelief. "Faun?!" He barked, voice cutting through the raging battle.
Nightshade rushed at Thoth, pinning his down and giving his face a good slap. "What the hell?! I TRUSTED YOU!" She screamed into his face, ripping at his throat with furious slashes of betrayal. "I TRUSTED YOU!"
{But as Siv has learned, though you might trust someone with your life and heart, they might rip it to bits anyway.}

(wow. It's amazing how similiar these scenes are to our lives.. that's TOO FREAKY!)
Thoth smiled and allowed Nightshade to rip him apart. "Just because you trust someone, doesn't mean they deserve it."
Faun looked up. "Thoth!" She lept off of Tisana and ran to Thoth. Well, tried. Before she got half-way there, Tisana lept on her back, delivering furious blows.

{ "Applebottom jeans, boot with the fur, the whole club was looking at her, she hit the floor, next thing ya know, Shawtty got low, low, low, low, low low!" Siv also learned that sometimes rap songs make more sense than she originally thought =] }
"FAUN!!" Blue Moon screamed, desperate now. "Please...oh...no..." tears blinded the neophyte, making him stumble into the bushes. Did he simply not care about him anymore? And to Blood Mist? After the kidnapping...?
{she's going to be on the light side on the twenty-first,,,right? 0_o}
Siv's eyes searched the scene frantically. She knew that no wolf could see her up there;; the fray was too vicious at the time. No...no wolf would come for her but the wolf which searched for her...the wolf which she searched for. And it was too early. How she knew all this, she was unsure, but it was definite. She knew that Verlust would come, just not yet...no...too soon...
Mist snarled in anger as Risika slipped away from her. Never the matter...she had bigger foes to fight... she saw Tisana attacking Thoth and decided to help kill the traitor. She launched herself at Thoth, pinned him down and raking his belly, allowing Tisana room to make an attack, also.
