Rio continued stepping back, walking past Feather, and all the while staring at Silenthowl. He stumbled, falling into the snow. Out of the shock of seeing her, he didn't realize that he had fallen. He continued to step back until he was out of hearing range, but could still see her fur. He broke into a shuddering sob, and began running.
