Sirius wasn't suprised. He had known it was coming. Lakota's death had been told to him by Sedaka. The order of things meant he was made Beta unless Destiny saw otherwise and according to her long standing idea, he was supposed to lead a pack someday whether he liked it or not. Sirius inclined his head to Destiny and the pack before straightening himself again.
Skysong's tail wagged happily and she smiled at her father. It was sad that Lakota was dead and Destiny was sad, but Sky was still happy that her father was at least accepting it.

Lakota died!!! Why wasn't Kunai here to atleast beilieve that that happened. He wouldn't have beilived it. Sirius was the proxy, now that means that Sky's father is the new Beta. That was good and bad. One loss and one gained. Now who would be the new proxy? [/center] |

Sothis showed no emotion.
"Which means I must choose a new proxy."Destiny's orbs scanned the wolves.She had already chosen.Finally she found the fae.
New Moon placed Akaira at Svel's paws."Keep an eye on her."
Svel nodded.
"New Moon.You are a determined wolf.Strong willed and full of spirit.No matter what tragedy's strike.You keep your cool and keep on going.You can remain calm and relaxed in a difficult situation.If I listed all your qualities we would be here all night."Destiny still did not smile.
New Moon padded forward.
"New Moon.You are Grey Mist's new prosy."Destiny would have padded forward to touch the faes shoulder with the fae but she was tired.
New Moon understood.Respectfully she padded forward and gave her alphess a lick on the shoulder.
Destiny returned the respectful gesture.Motioning for New Moon to take her seat as Proxy.
New Moon nodded.Moving to sit at Destinys left.A little farther away then Sirius.As was customery.

Sirius glanced at New Moon and smiled encouragingly. She seemed like the type of fae that would handle her job better then he had and Sirius was glad for it. He wasn't sure he had done well as a proxy but knew he 'd have to step up and be a strong Beta. Destiny was loosing lives left and right. If she died during their journey....Sirius didn't know what he would do.

Kunai looked to his left and saw Destiny choose the new proxy properly. It was really nice just to watch someone become a proxy. It was nice to see Skysong's father become the new Beta. The pup standed on his four paws and then just sat down watching what the alphess was going to say next. His dule green eyes kept on watching what was happening. [/center] |

Destiny shuddered as a coughing fit overtook her.She was still rather skinny."We-"she was cut off as another coughing fit overtook her.
New Moon glanced worridly at her Alphess and sister.
Destiny seemed to regain herself.Then continued."We will be leaving at dawn.If there are any Grey Mist wolves who are not here.Then i suggest someone goes to track them down.Just make sure your all here at dawn.I don't want to leave anyone behind.Because once we leave.There is no turning back."Voice was still emotionless.

The Abandoned Wolf pup knew what Destiny means, she was doing a way better job than what his real parents were doing. He was getting tired again. Star he doesn't know about her much but the black wolf pup just hopes that she will take him in. [/center] |

Svel pulled Akaira and Kiari close.Both were technically her sisters.Though only Kiari was of blood relation.Destiny had adopted both herself and Kiari.
Akaira's eyes were still closed.She let out a pup like squel.Calling for Rapier.Where was Rapier?
New Moon glanced around.She had wanted to say good bye to her adopted daughter Risika.But the fae was with Blood Mist.And New Moon was no longer a Blood Mist wolf.
Melody began weaving through the wolves.Checking for any wolf who might have a wound or anything.You never know.
Aliya smiled happily at her mate.
Sothis glanced at Skysong."Your good.She never knew a thing."he murmurer quietly in her aud.

Star glared in disbelief at the new proxy, a growl rumbling in her throat. "She should never have been let into this pack..." Star muttered darkly under her breath. She kept Kunai close, her ears pricked for attackers. "Will we leave now or in the morning?" She asked.

Destiny looked cooly at Star."I said dawn did I not."Her remark was cold.Her heart seemed to be turned to stone.But.Losing your love does that to some wolves.Of course.she alsow lost her son.In the same day.Can you really blame her?

Star grunted in retort, "If you didn't notice, I've taken in a pup, Destiny. I was in the Grey Mist nursery untill moments ago! I wasn't even AT this gathering!" She sighed heavily, saddened her leader simply forgot her.

Kunai wasn't hurt, yet, or now. He was before but it was O.K. now. The pup was just tired of the pain that alreay happen to him before he got here. He looked at Star when she was speaking and yay she is going to take him in for the looks of it. That was a good sign for him in this matter. [/center] |

New Moon glanced around."I'm going to go get her something to eat.She does'nt look so good."New Moon murmered to Sirius.Destiny was rather skinny.Swiftly the fae disappeared into the woods.
Melody padded over to Star and Kunai.Greeting the wolves.
