New Moon noticed Euphrates.Calmly she padded over towards the brute.She smiled down at the pup.Then settled herself in a sitting position next to Euphrates."I know how you feel."The femme had once been a Blood Mist wolf.She too felt un trusted by many members of the pack.She glanced down at Sumer.The pup was young , but he was always odldy quite.
Destiny smiled at her pup.
Akiara let out a bark as her brothers scent was found.She padded friskily over to him.

Rapier lifted his head as Akiara came over. He let out an excited woof, but didn't part from Sirius' paw. It was warm.
Euphrates sighed, looking down. "I feel like I'm betraying my family... I didn't hate them. But what they were doing wasn't... wasn't right."
Sumer looked up at New Moon, and his ears went back ever so slightly.
Almost immediately, Euphrates added, "Sumer says 'hello'," he woofed. "He's mute.... that's why I came with him." He watched Sumer's facial expressions change, and translated, "He wants to know your name?"

New Moon smiled down at the pup."Hello Sumer.My name is New Moon."It was amaizing how Euphrates could translate everything Sumer had to say.
Akaira smiled happily in Rapiers direction.Carefully she curled up next to him.
New Moon looked to Euphrates."I felt like I was betraying my adopted daughter.My friends.My mate,even though he is dead.But.My family.My sister, Destiny helped me to see the light.Without her I would still be a cold Blood Mist wolf being ordered around by Verlust."New Moon glanced back to Sumer.

Sumer wagged his tail. He had been shown how to kill a wolf as a pup... but it was his mother who had told him to bite down. Aside from that incident as an ignorant pup, he was innocent.
Euphrates sighed softly. "I'm Euphrates, by the way... and if you're wondering about how we communicate, don't ask me 'cause I honestly have no idea how we figured out how to do this." The corners of his mouth twitched in a small half-smile.

New Moon let out a chuckle."I suppose you are his guardian angel then are you not."New Moon smiled at Euphrates."Destiny brought you into the pack during the battle did she not?That's the last I saw you in Blood Mist."New Moon barked quietly.She was somewhat ashamed of her past.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that," he laughed. When she spoke of the battle, he had to supress a shiver. "Yeah... that's when I joined." And that's when my mother was killed.
Sumer looked up at his older brother, eyes bright with understanding. He gave his brother's chin a quick, comforting lick.
"Heh, thanks Sumer," Euphrates murmured, licking his brother's ear in return.

Euphrates nodded. "...you happy here, then?" The red and silver wolf looked down at his brother, who was giving him new expressions. This time Euphrates didn't translate aloud, only nodded as Sumer 'spoke'.

Sweet Tangerine emerged from the trees, a light brown pup in her jaws. She padded right through the wolves, heading for Destiny, and set the pup down. "Hello, Destiny, I'm Tangerine...well, actually, my mother named me Sweet Tangerine, but just call me...well, you get the picture." She breathed heavily, then continued. "I found a pup in the snow by an old barn. I'm not quite sure who the parents are, but i couldn't just leave her. And I wished to travel across the mountains...away from this place. The pup will not be left behind, whatever it's heritage. I know, with a pup, I cannot travel alone. So Destiny, may I travel with you and your pack on your way across the mountains?"

Destiny eyed the femme for a moment.Sweet tangerines words were heartfelt.Destiny gazed down at the pup.She smiled."you are welcome to travel with us sweet Tangerine.as are you little one."destiny smiled at the pup.
New Moon smiled."I am happy here.This is a new life for me.A fresh start."

"Thank you, very much." Tangerine smiled gratefully.
The two rested on a clump of warm moss. The pup awoke, frowning.
"You never told me your name, little one." Tangerine smiled kindly.
"it's Twilla!" She said, trying to be her usual sweet self. She missed Vuelo and Birch and Aspen....where did they go?

The Healer bowed his head. "My name is Sedaka."
Euphrates glanced over his shoulder. "I think I should hunt for young Sumer..." He stood up, gazing down at his younger brother. "If you go anywhere while I'm gone, Sumer... I'll kill you."
Sumer smiled, raising a mischievious brow.
