Hunting

Salizar and his sister Tessailia slunk through Dead Pines. The fresh Kill pile was very low, and more prey was needed to fill the pack's bellies. Tessailia crouched down and lept up in the air to catch a large hawk. The hawk fell to the ground under Tessailia's weight and she killed it swiftly.

Lakota prowled through the pines, silent and watchful. Poking his nose through the bushes, his whiskers twitched. Alas, an elk! Lakota padded foward slowly, noting his prey's magestic antlers, which curved upward with fiercely sharp tines. It was huge... enough to feed the pack for days. But he would need help to ensure its death. Perking his ears, Lakota heard the sounds of his denmates. Padding quietly from his hiding spot, he discovered two wolves hunting together.
"Tessailia, Salizar," he woofed. Lakota gestured towards the towering creature. "Help me take this down."

Tessailia buried her hawk and crouched down. Salizar did the same. In a flash, Salizar was on the elk's back and Tessailia was raking at its underbelly.

Lakota waited for the others to keep the elk still before he made the finishing blow. His hunger transformed him into the perfect killer, and he was soon racing toward the elk. Bounding foward at breakneck speed, he flew through the air, jaws agape, and slammed into his prey, biting through the thick skin of its neck with his inscizors. While the others weakened it, blood began to pool from the fatal wound that took its life. In a minute, the elk was dead, and ready to be eaten.
"Good job," Lakota growled, scarlet saliva dripping from his blood-stained muzzle.

Tessailia went to continue hunting and Salizar helped Lakota carry the elk.
