VANISHINGS! (PLOT)

[.Rabid Lycan.]

"I don't understand, pup," Verlust murmured, turning to face Faun. Her crimson eyes danced with a malicious curiosity. "Do you not want your mother's pups to survive?"

[mudfang]

Faun growled again. "RAISED BY SOMEONE ELSE? SHE'S TETHERED FOR LUPUS'S SAKE!"

[Sivoncé™]

Babylonia hissed angrily at the name "Lupus". "Well let's see if this so-called Lupus helps you idiots now! No wolf will know what happened here, not even Lupus, besides us. So give up on your stupid little hopes of rescue!"

[mudfang]

Tumbleweed growled. "FORGET IT YOU CATS!"

Faun barely let out a whimper, seeing her mother, in labor, on the cold ground, tethered.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

"Yes... let's see your poor excuse for a god save you now." Verlust grinned widely. "I've known him for centuries... if he'd known, he'd be here already."

[mudfang]

Tumbleweed sighed. So this was what it felt like to die? Well, let me tell you one thing.... it sucked.

Dusk and Svetta said nothing as they strode into the clearing. They looked nowhere but at the eyes of the vanishings, and ignored even Verlust.

Svetta lunged for Liv. "Your mother once let me go free from Blood Mist. I want to thank her for that, Livia. Svetta lept onto the pole and ripped away the crude bindings that held Liv. Liv gasped and looked on in shock and amazement. "It zeems Lupus haz sent us aide!"

[mudfang]

Ravenche ran into the clearing, blood still dripping from his mouth. "She refused." he said.

(A DISTRACTION!)

Faerie ran into the clearing and up to Faun. "Your brother Thoth helped to make the packs see their error. I thank him for that. It has made my mate's sister Holly very happy."

She ripped off the ropes and Faun gave a squeel of delight.

Svetta carved the S into Liv's front left paw. She then did something she had not told the others about....

She carved the S into her front right paw, then....then....

She fell from the pole in a heap, crumbling to the ground with the strangest of smiles on her silvery features. As she laid there, smiling, on the ground, blood seeped from everywhere on her. It seemed as though she would drown in it, but no...
Because she WAS it. Svetta's figure dissappeared completely as her body deteriorated. The puddle of blood seeped into the ground swiftly untill there was nothing left of Svetta.
Nothing at all.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

A silver fae raced up and cut the bindings that held Crescent. "You were my mentor's mother," Haze murmured. "And a friend."

Jag leapt up to cut Lakota's binds. "You were a loyal wolf... When we met in battle, you were the only one to have defeated me. I respect that in you."

Lakota fell to the ground, barking thankfully.

Faerie took a deep breath and slashed the S in Faun's paw. Faun winced. Faerie looked around wildly. "Run." she whispered. Faun took off into the forest. She had the strong urge to slash the S into her paw, so she did. She began to disappear.

Liv looked up at Blue Moon, still whimpering wildly. Liv shook her head. "Don't worry, young'un...I willn't leave!"

Dusk ran towards Blue Moon, slashing the S into her paw with a single swipe. She cut away the cruel ropes that held her and handed the pup to Liv. "Take good care of her, Livia." And she faded away into complete nothingness.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

Jag turned and raced foward, digging his fangs into Lakota's paw to form a jagged S. "Run."
The GreyMist Beta hesitated, but decided to oblige. "Thank you... Jag."
The wolf nodded slowly, then swiped an S into his skin... He howled, and was stripped of his being until all was lost.

Haze glanced at Crescent, and slashed an S into her forepaw. "Now go!" The GreyMist neophyte shoved the mother into the bushes, and turned to carve an S into her own skin.

Lakota ran, startled by what he had witnessed, and went to Crescent. He stood the pregnant mother up, and helped her get to a safer place near the camp.

Then she felt a strange, fuzzy sensation... She began to lose track of her thoughts, her emotions. Her very form began to fade... and fade.... and fade... Then, in a small puff of mist, she vanished from the world.

[mudfang]

Faerie whimpered as she also faded away. "Good luck." she called to Faun. Then, she was no more.

Wistieria ran to Arroyo and bit down hard on his bindings. "Arroyo, let there be no more warring between our packs...and tell Burn...." She carves the S into his paw and did the same to her paw. "Tell Burn I love him," and in a blink, she was gone completely from the earth, from the stars, from Hellfire. She was GONE.

Adawolfa ran to Tumbleweed, slashing away the grass ropes that held him. "We have never met, but I know what it is like to lose a loved one. Go now, look over young Ragweed in his barn." She cut the S into his pad and hers. Her figure turned to sand in front of him, and in turn, that sand was blown away.

Liv grasped Blue Moon carefully in her jaws and sprinted for her parents' den. They would know what to do...
