ooh and roller skating. Actually, emo is a shortening for 'emotional'. Thier is a book, 'Everyone Hurts'. Very good book, read it a couple times. It states that emo is a music, way of life, and style. Fallout Boy is alternative, but emo. Indie is a type of emo. I'm like a geek emo... hehe... But, props for you!!

I've done some research on that topic, some say it never stood for "emotional" and ppl just made that up. Others say the opposite. All I know, is that the emo stereotype is totally misjudged. Sure, we have our fair mix of depression but so does everyone else! And personally I think Indie/Emo ppl tend to have creative interests or a connection to music, usually more hardcore. and by connection, I mean to them music is more than just something to dance to, it's like expression.
And yes, I am Indie/Emo.
