Tisana walked respectfully up to the clearing. She gazed at the Eternal Tree and the deep cave beside it. She walked quietly into the clearing. The moon was rising quickley as she began to speek. She turned around. "Hurry. It's almost moonhigh."

Sedaka followed, his lean gray frame glowing silver in the moonlight. Silently, he looked at Tisana, and offered a small nod. Afterwards, he glanced behind him to see if the others were following.

Kiara had a sorrisome look on her face. She really dismayed seeing another gory version of the packs' ending. She really did not want to dream again about the coming danger to the packs. She really did not want to watch her pack get devoured by rabid wolves with wild looks. She didn't want to yet again watch in dismay as she stupidly led the pack of vicious wolves into the camp and watch with no attempt to stop it as a familair wolf lunged at her throat and left her seeing nothing but a bright scarlet light. No. She was tired of it. She didn't want to continue to watch the replay of the packs' ending. She wanted it to just be some fantasy she had made up. She wanted it to be fake. She wanted that day she had traveled here with her alpha to just be a fantasy. The one thing she wanted to get clear. She did not want to be here right now.

Tisana faced the nervous healers. She glanced up into the sky. The moon was getting closer to it's peak. "Hurry." she looked over the healers. Some were fairly new. She was herself. "Don't fear what we learn tonight. We can face it." She turned back around and headed towards the cave.

Gingerly, the grey neophyte stepped forward. She recognized the clearing as the one they had first arrived in. Twilight shone down upon the great tree but neglected to light the root cave in which they soke. Nervous optics glanced back at Sedaka, waiting for the okay to head after Tisana.

Sedaka nodded at his neophyte. "Go on," he woofed softly, taking a few steps toward the cave. "I'll be right behind you."
Magic paused before slipping into the cave, scenting the air with a brief sniff. Safe? He shook his pelt. You idiot, of course it's safe... He followed Tisana.

Melody nodded, shaking herself lightly. She stepped forward and down into the dark den, noting that the smell of earth was definintly not scarce. Curling up in a warm, shadowed corner, she closed her eyes and waited for the spirits of her ancestors to come to her. He breaths grew deeper and soon she was being rocked by the cradle of sleep.

Kiara who was the oldest of the healers stepped one step forward then quickly slipped in. She lied down in one swift movement and quickly put her head down. She waited for the other healers to settle down. She was ready to receiev eher message even if she had to watch of replay of what she had seen not long ago.

Sedaka lowered himself near his neophyte, tucking his paws underneath him. The old wolf gingerly closed his eyes and lowered his head... Even though he would be asleep, his ears remained erect.
Magic settled himself in a corner as far apart from the other wolves as he could manage, an curled into a tight ball. Safe... safe? What is safe anymore....?

Tisana settled herself into a corner and closed her eyes. Her breathing became even, and she fell into a deep sleep.
Tisana glanced around. She smiled at the happy, thriving pack. But she sensed something... Something was wrong. She glanced down. Her legs where bare. No fur. Just skin. She gasped for air and coughed violently. A trickle of blood ran down from her mouth. She fell to the ground in a tangle of bare limbs, shedding fur, blood, and foam. She howled for help, but everyone went about their merry business. Just as she was fighting for her life, a bright line shone in her vision. Out of the light came nine wolven figures. But they were blurry. Too blurry to recognize. Tisana's eyes flickered shut and she took one last gasping breath, which turned into yet another violent spasm. But strangly, all was peaceful(I hope that dream was okay... )

Kiara closed her eyes. She felt better now that she was in the cave. She curled her tasil around her nose and was deep in thought. She for some reason had a stifled thought. Something would not let her go into her sleep. Was it her conscience?

(Very nice, Mud ) Melody's dreams were not of her regular kind. She was not sharing with her ancestors in the ways she had before. There was no moving, and there were no images. Only darkness behind her lids. Yet, she couldn't awake. No, not yet... Violent pains coursed through her, and the sounds of coughing, hacking wolves echoed all around her, ringing through her ears. One of them was snarling, and Melody began forming images with her own thoughts. Though, still, the darkness was unbroken, she could almost feel the ill, ragged wolf, cornering the mother and her frail pups. There was more snarling, then the unmistaeable rank of death and sickness crashed over her. Nine outlines of white sliced the darkness, and then there was nothing. Nothing at all.
