The ebony form of the Destinian brute cast a long shadow as he approached the Eternal Tree with care. Unlike most up-in-coming alphas, he had not brought a healer but he had a feeling he knew what to do. Sirius stared at the tree, sterling eyes unsure. He had banished a pup near here, Destiny's daughter. What if she came and disapproved? What if she sent him away? Sirius regretted doing it. It was a rash response. Unreasonable. Wrong. He shouldn't have done it. He saw that now. Sirius sighed. Now he would be judged. If Destiny turned him away he would not blame her but he would not return to the Destinians. Aliya would come and take his place if that happened.
Sirius laid down at the base of the tree. Judge me as you will. I will listen Sirius thought as he drifted off to sleep.

A fine white figure emerged from the eerie mist, fur bleached and pale like a ghost. It approached Sirius, and bowed its head down slightly. It was Lakota. "How you doing, Sirius?" Touching his muzzle to Sirius' forehead, he murmured, "With this life, I give you loyalty. Use it to defend your pack with your life... without question." With a reassuring nod, Lakota took a step back and disappeared in a fog.

Sirius met the eyes of the former beta and closed his eyes as the life washed over him. He hadn't expected it to hurt but it did. It was like a dull burning running through him, not intolorable but definately not pleasant. One down. Eleven more to endure.

(YAY)
The large bulk of a brute shimmered in the mist. His gray fur rippled. "Hello, Sirius. Dear Lupus, I've been in too many ceremonies lately! Anyway, I guess I'll be the nice rabid wolf I was born as and do my job..."
Thoth touched Sirius's nose with his. "I give you the gift of knowledge. Use it to choose the right path, dispite what us dead wolves tell you. And make sure you know if a wolf's rabid before you attack it for being traitorous." He glanced at a long gash in his chest. "I beg of you." He stepped back and disappeared.

Sirius shuddered as another life washed over him. Keep an eye out for rabid wolves huh? Good advice. Now however wasn't one of Sirius's serious moments, not meant as a pun. Sirius rested his head on his paws. Two lives. Ten more. Ten more and he was already aching.

The silver outline an elderly fae appeared, and soon the previous Destinian Healer, Taiga, was padding torward Sirius. Resting a graying muzzle on the wolf's forehead, she whispered, "With this life I give you care. Use it to be sensetive to your packmates, and to protect them in their time of need." The senior Healer turned... and, in a flash, she was gone.

Salizar, the long-faded proxy of Grey Mist appeared next. He smiled kindly at the brute. "Ahh, we meet again! With this life, I give you dedication. Use it to follow through on your convictions," he barked, touching his nose to Sirius' forehead.
An light brown, slender femme appeared in Salizar's place. Her green eyes flickered with hidden thoughts. Nirvana looked deep into Sirius' eyes before speaking, "With this life, I give you protection. Use it to care for each member of your pack as a mother would for her pups." Her eyes flickered again, as if she wanted to say more. She touched her nose to his forehead, then whispered before she left, "Please...watch over them, Sirius. Don't let them fall into the devil's paws..."

Sirius inclined his head to Nirvana's request, despite the steady throbbing ache running from his muzzle to his tail tip. His legs felt cramped and he had to bite his tongue to keep from whining when he received a life. He would bear the weight of it. Sirius met the fae's eyes before she left and made a silent vow to protect his pack, defend them even if they thought he'd done wrong. He would show them he could lead them even if it took each life he recieved now. In silence he waited for the next to appear.

A black fae, the color of night padded up. Her amber eyes bright, "Hello Sirius, I am Liara," woofed the pretty fae. Her eyes bright with hope and joy for the new alpha, "With this life I give you hope, use it to carry your pack through hard times," she touched noses with the dark brute and stepped back.

Most would have expected a life of hope to be lighter, brighter and less painful then the other lives. Sirius knew better then to back down his guard. He was right to do so. As the life of hope burned its way through him, another fae appeared. This fae was also unfamiliar, pure ebony with a white heart blazing on her chest. Crystal blue eyes entranced him as she approached on silent paws and bowed her head. "With this life, I give you love. Use it to charish and care for each member of your pack." This life was different then the others. It didn't hurt quite as much. It was more uplifting, enlightening. Sirius shuddered as the life of love burned within him. Five down. Seven to go.

The starry form of a fae came towards Sirius. Despite everything. There was a small smile curled into the corner of her maw. As if she knew what he was thinking and what he would be thinking as she came toward him. Her greyish nose touched his and she spoke. "With this life , I give you forgiveness. With this you will know when to forgive those who have done wrong and when someone deserves a second chance. No matter who they once were." The snowy former Destinian alphess stepped back. "Lead your pack well Sirius, and know that your decision has been forgiven." The words were spoken in a quite melodic tone for his auds only as the femme moved away.
A large ebony brute took Destiny's place. This wolf was somewhat larger than his snowy sister. Dipping his head slightly his cold, tormented, haunted, pained blue eyes took in the brute. Nuka was almost an exact likeness to Sirius. As Destiny had often stated. Though this brute's fur was a slightly darker shade, it seemed. "With this life I give you knowledge. Use it to understand when to let something go or to let someone go. Know that even when doing something seems harsh and painful, if your heart is telling you that it is what you must do, it must be done. Lead your pack well" With that Nuka gave Sirius one more look with his pained pools then turned and padded to Destiny's snowy form. The two seemed to be like yin and yang. Perfectly co-inciding with each other. Though both of them were pure of heart.
