It's sad how you try and Try A white wolven walked along the edge of the water slowly. Chocolate optics flicked round the land, soaking up the sights and bright colors. Snow danced through the air and fell to the ground slowly in small flakes. Her rounded audits flicked forward, taking in the sounds all around. The sun was quickly fading behind the dark winter night. Clouds quickly rolled in, covering the sky. Great, even more snow. The quiet wolven mumbled to herself. She stopped and looked around the quiet land, the rushing water was a bit of a distraction, but she walked on. The forest became thicker the longer she followed the river down, she knew this land well, for she was here alot. Her shaggy pelt quivered in the strong passing wind. Leaves and dust stired around and fell into the river, quickly passing by her. Sandra let out a soft sigh and stopped again, this time sitting down and watching the some of what she could see, moons reflection in the water. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem had gotten tired of being confined in the packlands and had decided to hunt. Chasing a stag had taken him outside of the Destinian packlands so now here he was loping toward the Shanti River with no destination really in mind. Rivers were good places to think. For a wolf like Atem, much of his time was spent that way. His waking hours were quiet and recluse while his night hours long, painful and painted with painful memories when his mind was dropping in some sort of vivid nightmarish hell. For now the world was quiet and calm, much more relaxed now then the bustle of camp and rush of hunting wolves in the packlands.
The black brujo paused as a scent caught his attention. Pricking his ears, Atem turned his head. Bright topaz orbs gazed through the winter-dead undergrwoth, searching for the source of the scent. It was a loner, fae from her scent but Atem hesitated in approaching. First off he was a rather recluse wolf but he was curious. Slowly Atem made his way through the undergrowth toward the femme. If she was dangerous, he would simply leave. If not, maybe he could help Destiny by finding a new pack member.

It's sad how you try and Try The passing winter breeze carried the scent of a brute. Optics stayed on the rippling reflection that danced in the water, but she wanted to look around. If anything to catch her interest, she wanted it to be this wolf. She finally left the reflection and looked up to search for him. The hellion stood up and shook off her snow covered coat. Nose lifted into the air and she sniffed out the dog. Knowing he was close, she barked softly and pirked her audits toward the scent. Her long tail wagged back and forth slowly, but stil hung close to the earth. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem heard the femmora bark, calling for a reply. Atem remained hidden in the undergrowth, his eyes catching onto the ivory-crafted she-wolf. She looked harmless enough. There was only one of her so Atem was fairly sure he wouldn't have to worry about an ambush. Slowly, the brujo stepped from the undergrowth. He wasn't overly large but he was big enough to be impressive. During spring and summer when the sunlight caught his fur the right way, Atem's fur would have an orangish highlight to it but right now it was simply flat ebony, shimmering now and then when he moved showing his health. Vivid topaz pools accented his handsome visage, burning like flickering flames had come alive behind his eyes. "Hello" Atem barked calmly, his voice calm and a bit mysterious.

It's sad how you try and Try Her dark optics scanned him quickly as he slowly stepped out from the shade. Her white coat glimmered as the moon started showing again. The snow slowed and thined so only a little fell. Hey, She said calmly. She overlooked his dark coat and gave him a warm but devious smirk. Her chocolate optics flicked to a clum of heavy snow falling from a branch and fall to the ground quickly, but came back to his attention. His bright eyes caught her attention, and his size, he looked bigger than the normal wolf, but not to big. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem's eyes were drawn upward to the moon. It looked lovely with clouds still framing it and a few stars becoming visible once more after the breif snowfall. Atem always disliked full moons like the one showing tonight. He remember clearly that it had been a full moon the night his family had been slaughtered and his first scars had appeared. Atem sighed and sat back on his hunches, looking back toward the ivory femmora. Her scent was obviously a loner. He caught the mischevious look in her eye and gave her a slightly curious look but decided not to comment or question. "Come here for the view?" he asked calmly, looking toward the Shanti River.

It's sad how you try and Try She looked up at the moon aswell and back at him as he spoke. He had many different scents, obviously in a pack or snuck around one. She shrugged and sighed, Kinda, but mostly to just kinda, clear my mind I guess. She said softly. Her dark optics lowered to the white earth and back up to him as she spoke once again, What about you? What are you doin here? She asked out of curiosity. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem studied the femme as she spoke. So she had come for similar reasons? Ah fate was a funny thing. He almost smiled at the thought but decided not to. "Originally to hunt but now I suppose to think" Atem replied after a few moments of quiet thought. The dark brute looked toward the moonlit river, breathing in. No prey that was close enough or fresh enough to really bother chasing. In the end Atem turned his gaze back to the femmora. "You are a loner I suppose?"

It's sad how you try and Try Hearing his quickly spoken words, she nodded and cocked her skull to the side. Yah, I got kicked out of my old one right before the war thing, I didn't even ant to go back to help them at the fight, just stayed out of it. She saighed thinking about the pack, but didn't really miss them at all. She remembered the exact reson they kicked her out. She was an "outcast" and wouldn't listen to any of the others when she was directed to do something. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem nodded. He could understand that reasoning. Honestly who would go back to their pack after being kicked out? He had fought with the pack because they had kept him alive all those years ago when he'd been more dead then alive. Atem met the femmora's eyes calmly. "I see. I can understand that. I remain with my pack because I owe them my life." Atem looked out at the river and the land beyond it. "But sometimes I wonder if a blood-debt is worth it."

It's sad how you try and Try She looked at him as he spoke and shrugged, Depends on how they treat you now. That's how I'd think of it. She looked at the sky that still leaked little white flakes, then back down at him. I'm Sandra by the way. She said quietly. She gazed at the black land behind him, she just had funny fealing for some reason but she pushed it away from her thoughts. Her optics glistened in the moons bright light as it came out of behind the ebony clouds. But I still find it funny how you come Back

"My name is Atem" Atem replied, inclining his head slightly toward the femme. Not even many wolves in his pack knew his name but that was how he liked it. It was bad enough that the first time his pack had seen him he'd been carried between two wolves and almost proclaimed dead. This time however he wasn't so uptight about giving his name to the fae. Rising to his paws, Atem looked around, breathing in deeply. The scent of a nearby deer caught his attention. "Would you care to hunt?" Atem asked.

It's sad how you try and Try She smiled as he stated his name and gave him a quick nod. Then to his question, she though for a second and shrugged. Why not, nothing else to do around here. She said and shook off her coat one more time. But I still find it funny how you come Back

Atem nodded and rose to his paws. Padding to the river, Atem leapt into the water, swimming strongly to the other bank. Coming to the other side, Atem padded up the bank and gave his fur a brisk shake to rid it of loose water. Looking back the ebony brujo looked t osee if Sandra would follow. Farther beyond the river was an open moorland where deer herds tended to roam this time of year. The scent was fairly fresh, a little tracking would take them straight to the main herd if they were lucky. With two wolves the work would be easier then just one wolf trying to herd a deer and kill it.

It's sad how you try and Try As soon as he jumped in she followed not far behind. She crawled out and shook off quickly, then lifted her ebony nose into the air. She looked at Atem and started padding off toward the scent slowly. Her white fur would help her this time of year, but she hated hunting in the spring and summer. Her fur still damp, made her a little cold but sh quickly warmed herself up by the slow run. But I still find it funny how you come Back
