"So I'm lieing? I'm not telling" Sunblaze barked, winking at Thite. She nuzzled his neck lovingly and rested her head on one of his paws. Sunblaze lay curled next to Thite, careful of his wound however. He was everything to her but she could always try to distract him. Sunblaze didn't want him to find out, it was rather embarrassing. Half of Sunblaze knew what had her distracted, the other half had no clue why she was so out of it.

[Destiny]

Thite smiled at this. The brute began to lovingly groom her pelt. "Why is that?"He didn't want to pry. She didn't seem to want to tell him. But something told thim that this time he really should know. It was bothering her. He knew that much. He smiled again as she settled her crown on his paw.Thite lowered himself to the ground. Careful not to make her un-comfortable as he did so.His own deep wound forgotten completely. Pools looked into hers.

[Ärï]

"Are you always so suspicious of what I think about?" Sunblaze asked, weaving genuine curiousity into her voice. She was beating around the bush, trying to find time. She didn't know if she could tell him yet and it made her jittery, uneasy and restless. No mater how much she loved him Sunblaze seriously doubted Thite would take what she was thinking about calmly.

[Destiny]

Thite chuckled. "No. Only when you hide things from me that bother you.I'm not a pup you know." He nuzzled her lovingly."I'm sure it's not nearly as bad as you think it is." He murmured reassuringly. At leat. He hoped it wasn't nearly as bad as she seemed to think it was.

[Ärï]

Sunblaze shifted uncomfortably. "Thite.....um...well....I..." Sunblaze took a deep breath and let it out slowly to trying calm her stammering. She couldn't do this. She kept repeating that in her mind. Facing Ronin, that had been no real challenge. Telling Thite what she had to tell him was ten times harder. What if he left? So many brutes did when they heard this news.....She had to try, had to believe he actually would stay. "I'm...pregnant." Sunblaze burned with shame and flinched at the word, looking away from Thite and waiting for him to run off.

[Destiny]

Thite stiffened. Staring at her in disbeleif. He didn't even blink. Just sort of tried to speak and stammered and stutterd on his words.Stumbling through them. "W-W-W-W-wha-what?P-preg-pre-pregnant!?Y-your p-p-pregnant?!"THite's jaw literally dropped.Lucky enough he realized it and pulled it closed. Pregnant!!???SHE WAS PREGNANT!? WITH HIS PUPS!!!??Oh Twilight wolves! He didn't know how to be a father!

[Ärï]

Trembling slightly Sunblaze leapt to her paws and started running blindly. Maybe if she ran far enough she could escape it. This of course was an irrational thought but at the moment, rational wasn't something Sunblaze could pull off. She ran through the dark trees, weaving between them as rain pelted down on her, biting her skin like millions of icy fangs. Silently, Sunblaze begged for an aswer from somebody, anybody. Kojo or Faith. Either one. She didn't know what to do now. Thite was having a mental breakdown and Sunblaze was also feeling about to fall apart. No one answered.

[Destiny]

Faith knew this was something hard for her daughter to deal with. But she really could not help her with it.A wolfsong escaped Faith's maw. Meant only for Sunblaze's auds. It was a comforting sound. A song that told Sunblaze she could handle being a mother. A song that told her daughter she would be a wonderful mother.A song of reassurance.

Thite watched Sunblaze go in disbeleif. Moments after she had disappeared the brute shook his head roughly. Trying to clear it.Calm down you idiot! She needs you now more than ever! She's always been there for you, now it's your turn to be there for her! Don't leave her like you did last time something happened! You love her remember?! Thite glanced after her. Rising to his paws he padded after her. Movements were stiff and painful.But she meant a lot to him and she needed him now. More than ever.

[Ärï]

Sunblaze leapt over a log but not high enough, the dark hiding it particailly from her panicked eyes. Sunblaze's paw caught and she let out a grunt as she hit the wet ground. Sunblaze simply laid there, trembling slightly. A song rang in her ears, a gentle sound, a loving song. Thite? No. It was a femme's song. It was Faith's song. Sunblaze closed her eyes, focusing on her mother's voice. Maybe she could do it...with or, Twilight forbit, without Thite. Sunblaze sighed but didn't rise. She just laid there, letting the rain pelt down on her.

[Destiny]

Thite stumbled onward.Slipping and falling every so often. Following Sunblaze's scent and tracks. Auds caught sound of something up ahead. He forced himself to speed up despite the pain it caused. He caught a glimpse og golden fur. Thite noticed a log. Grunting with effort his paws scrabbled on it as he tried to climb over. A glimpse of golden fur caught his eye.Sunblaze!

[Ärï]

Sunblaze heard paws but assumed it was Serra. She kept her gaze on the darkened undergrowth. Her mind was drifting again. Her ears and eyes were fogged, everything quiet and dulled but her mind was sharp. Sunblaze was thinking forward...the moons ahead would be tough and the ones following, even worse. Sunblaze just hope she could face it. Sunblaze hadn't told Serra. She wouldn't tell Serra. Serra wouldn't understand....

[Destiny]

Thite grunted as he slipped and flipped over. Landing on his back he grunted painfully. then tilting his head backwards he looked at Sunblaze."You really should'nt lie in the rain like that. It's bad for your health."Thite paused. making his final decision."It's bad for the health of our pups too." He added. No way was he going to leave her, the love of his life, just because he had gotten her pregnant. If she could handle pups, he could handle them.

[Ärï]

"I don't care" Sunblaze muttered. "I'm fairly sure falling isn't good for them either but I did it. So what?" Sunblaze continued staring into space. "You shouldn't be out here. You're still hurt." Pregnant or not Sunblaze still worried for and love Thite. His injury was far from healed. He should be back at the badger sett. Not out here chasing her around just because she was in denial, because she was depressed and worried out of her mind.

[Destiny]

Thite didn't know how to feel. For the first time in his life he understood what tough love meant."Sunblaze, stop worrying about me. I'm a grown wolf. I can take care of myself. But those pups inside of you can't take care of themselves. Your going to be their mother and you need to think about them now too."He hated to sound so cold but he had too. She needed to worry about the pups. Not him. The pups. He would worry about all of them.

[Ärï]

"There is nothing here to endanger them" Sunblaze stated coolly, sitting up. "The fall I took was not a damanging one. As for the rain, I've been in it all day, a night will not harm me." Sunblaze turned her eyes to meet his gaze with her own eyes. Her gaze had changed. She seemed almost empty, as if words and movements were mechanical. "You however, don't know when to let wounds heal."
