Athame sighed softly. "Yeah... would you believe me if I said that I've had worse?" He smiled softly, and then staggered to a stand. Everything hurt badly, but he was, alas, alive.

She smiled. "Would you believe me.." she said under her breathe as she with much effort blocked out images of her father. She helped him walk letting him lean on her......

With a little awkward hesitation, Athame used Fate for support as they padded to a better suited enviroment. "Sharp rocks hurt," he muttered, humor in his eyes. "What do you know? I actually learned something today!"

Her eyes glistened humorously. She smiled at him with her fangs that glistened with the previous wolf's blood. She supported him as she clambered up the side in which was the least steep.

Athame winced as they climbed, but he tried not to show his discomfort to Fate. He had a feeling that it would be worrisome to the fae. "...well, at least I'm free of him for now... I can thank you for that, then."

The assassin's ear flicked in amusement at the quote. He looked up, seeing a mass of trees and bracken ahead. The bracken or a hollow tree would be nice-- either would offer adequate protection.

She of course was going right to there. Her back leg in pieces.. her broken bones not connected. She ignored that and walked rather naturally on three legs. She reached the forest and walked on into it. She went on until she found a hollow oak tree.. it was large and could contain two and 3/4 wolves. On her way to the tree she picked up mosses. They finally reached the tree and she carefully slipped away from him. She quickly put the moss on the bottom of the hollow tree, which already had almost enough.

Athame paused at the entrance, using all his power to remain standing with support. My god... where did that rock hit anyhow? He flexed his shoulders, and nearly doubled over in pain. Right... the spine he thought with gritted teeth.

"Well go on!" she said with annoyance as he stood like an idiot at the entrance. "Get in!" she said and nudged him gently. Though she scolded him like a mentor her eyes were blazing with the spirit of a protective mother.
