Dark Hex walked lovingly next to her. His muscles rippled under his tightly molded skin, and his winter thickened pelt. He shook his tail out and thanked Verlust for the fortunate battle that they had avoided.
Clover pressed her balled up body close to him. It was as if he was her mate. Not her 'mate' but her mate. She murmured comforting phases such as, "Envy's just... jealous." and somewhat angry phrases such as "...should have attacked Pride."

Greed felt hard kicks from the pups and he felt blood dripping from his wounds. It leaked down his sides, through his brey fur and between his amber eyes.

"You should get some rest if you're going to heal quick enough." she whispered gently. She pinned her ears to her head and started to drift, though keeping an ear out for anything... unusual. She tried not to slip into total unconscienceness until he had gone to sleep.

Tyson stood up and started to slowly back away. Maybe Wolfgang was right. Now that this wolf is already weak, we don't have to help him with anything. Lucky us.

Pride scented Tyson and tackled him, "You work for my brother right?" his jaws dripping with scarlet blood.
Greed passed out. His dreams were sick and twisted.

Clover's mind slipped leaving little conscienceness left in her mind. Her ears were opened, though pinned to her head, but every sound mind seemed vague to her. She just curled in a tighter ball next to Greed's blood-dampened body.

Tyson nodded. "Yes... It was the only way I could tell him sorry for trespassing into his territory. And who might you be?" His words were calm. Not filled with fear, but anger.

"His brother," snarled the white brute. His scarlet fur dripped with Jen's blood, "You'll do what he says, I'll watch," he snarled. His white fangs glimmering in his mouth.

One of Clover's ears removed itself from the flat position on her head, and perked towards the wolves, though the other stayed in place. Her eyes remained closed, but her ear flickered at the noise, but then it lie flat again as she noticed it was just another scuffle. She had heard, seen, and lived too many of those to care if it happened as she sleep about half a yard away.

"Fine..." Tyson had a feeling he had to complete more jobs. Wolfgang was right. We should've just left while we still could. At least he escaped. He did a low growl.

One of Clover's eyes opened. "Let 'em go..." she grumbled in a muffled, sleep glazed voice. "You don't want a wolf like that around." her other eye opened and she growled in annoyance. "Plus. Greed doesn't need another mate." she growled, with a hint of jealousy. Surprisingly enough, the thought of Greed mating with another wolf made her bubble with anger, not because it would most definately be a force, but because she felt she, herself was now his mate.

Pride got off. He ghrowled at Tyson before turning and disappering. His black eyes hidden.

Tyson stood up and shook himself. "Well, goodbye. I doubt we'll see each other again. I may move back into the mountains..." He turned and sped off into the forest without another word.

Clover looked in the place the wolves had previously been, her eyelids drooping. She smiled a sleepy smile then allowed her eyes to close. "Nighty night Greed." she said in a clear, quiet voice though she knew he was already asleep.
