Okashii nearly ran into the running brute. "CROW! THANK LUPUS!"
She instantly crumbled. "Oh, Crow! S-she killed Laika. The horrible fae ripped her open and threw her over a cliff! We were looking for you. OH! It's all my fault Crow! IT'S ALL MY D*** FAULT!"

Crow swallowed hard. Laika....that's Mist's neice. She's going to blame the Yozorans if she finds out... "Why would Light send a Sheeran warrior and a Yozoran neophyte out to look for me?!" He snapped. "Why would he send just two of you at all?! Did he underestimate what's happening here, because it's sure as hell not that black and white!"

Crow's eyes widened. "IDIOT!" He howled, also going into hysterics. "WHY DID I LEAVE?! I THINK WE ALL KNEW I WASN'T OGING TO STAY AFTER THAT BASTARD TOOK HER!" He howled, referring to Saskia's demise.

Crow froze, then glared at Okashii with resentment and horror. "That's none of your business! It has nothing to do with anything!" he snarled. "What happened is in the past. If Clove wanted everyone to know, she would've told them before she died." His voice began to falter. "I-It doesn't matter."

Okashii sighed. "Crow, you're being stupid."
Her voice trembled again. "That's what Laika wanted so badly to know. She lost her life to know. Crow, if you don't come back, that thing will still be out here. You can't kill her yourself."

Crow shook his head wildly. "NO! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME RELIVE IT AGAIN!" He screeched, backing away. "What is it you were expecting?! An answer to all your prayers, maybe a cure to this...this thing? I have no answers. Only more questions." He was panting heavily. "Like why did Twilight lead you across the mountains when they were infested with the black plauge?"

Okashii dug her claws into the ground. "Because no one knew. No one knew every wolf in the forest would..." She trailed off wistfully. "What happened? Crow, who was that wolf that killed Laika, and Saskia?"

"I've not the slightest clue," he admitted. "But it's someone from a long time ago...someone not too many would remember by now." He closed his eyes, then added, "She was smart to disguise her actual scent....otherwise Light would've known her." He hesitated then added, "All you need to know is that the mountains were anything but dormant. There was a raging storm going on up there....it wasn't safe. Not for wolves, not for humans. The packs were lucky to be chased only by Blood Mist. The sickness took the lives of my grandparents....and many other wolves we found...abandoned. It followed the packs, and it followed my mother and myself here."

"Mist will know." Crow said immediately. "Definitly Mist....Silence, of course. Light..." he thought long and hard. "Arroyo of the Siverians, if he still breathes. But that wolf has seen so much...I doubt he'd realize unless we had a name. Mist may have forgotten, too...and Light....for this wolf vanished quite quickly. I can't think of any others...." he sighed. "And I don't know her story, exactly, only that she was not looked at as a proper threat until now....like they thought she was dead, but forgot to kill her."

As if on cue, a white blur whipped out in front of Okashii and Crow. "Oh no, little ones, you won't get an answer from any. For Arroyo's mind is clouded, Silence has yet to break, Light will not remember, and Mist is headed this way....so why don't I give her a little suprise, eh? Her eyes aren't used very well, so why don't I just take them from her completely, eh?" She laughed coldly.
Crow snarled with outrage. "Never!" His mind flickered to Owen and Kiba. Owen will never be the same if his mother dies in Yozoran terra...
Without another word, Crow hurled himself at the wolf.

Okashii snarled. She, too, hurled herself at the she-wolf. Surely two near-warrior wolves could take on this little, phsycotic fae.
