The warrior kicked and shook her attackers off, laughing again. "Honestly, you think you two can take me? You're less intelligent than I thought! Regardless, none of the wolves you talked of would recognize me. Mist was a young warrior when we crossed, but she would assume me dead, anyway. I suppose I can let you all be...for now." She fled into the night once more.
Crow landed hard on the stones, smearing a trail of blood. He was panting heavily, a great gash in his side.

Okashii merely tore her pad. She dropped beside Crow. "Oh, Dear Lupus, not you, too. Please be alright." Tears came to her eyes. "What did I do?" She whispered.

More screams echoed behind them, two wolves approaching the rise. "LAIKA!!"
"WHO IN HELLFIRE'S NAME...?"
Owen and Mist had found their dearest relative at the feet of Lupus' Crown.
Crow looked up to Okashii and shook his head. "I-It's not your fault....I'm not dying anytime soon, either....we should get back and tell Light...." he whispered, attempting to stand and failing miserably.

"N-no." Okashii stammered, trembling. "I'll go get Light a-and Tisana. You'll be fine. Stay here."
With one last glance at her denmate, she rushed into the forest, toward the Twilight Clearing.
Kiba warily approached Mist and Owen. "My. Lupus." She whispered. "Laika."

"No, no...brother I s-swore to you...." Mist howled in agony.
Owen collapsed at his cousin's side, sobbing. "Who did this? WHO?! I'LL SLIT THEIR DAMN THROAT!" His body was aflame with pain and the maddening desire for revenge. I swear to you Laika I will slay them!

"OH THANK LUPUS I FOUND YOU!" A voice cried.
"Okashii!?" Kiba frowned.
"Listen!" cried a frantic Okashii. "Crow's hurt. That cat injured him and he needs help. We need a medicine wolf, and I can't run fast."

Mist spotted Okashii, then narrowed her eyes. "What happened here?" She inquired, tone not hostile, only desperate for knowledge. "Who did this?"

Mist snarled, forgetting all diplomacy. "Help yourself! Tell Light that the Yozorans better damn well come up with a better explanation, or I'll have his throat!" Mist's eyes were on fire as she lifted Laika with the help of Owen. The two departed with their deceased, Owen sent a miserable glance back at Kiba, and had no choice but to leave with his mother.

Okashii dug her claws into the ground. Once Mist and Owen were out of earshot, she snarled to Kiba. "How could you even be around that peice of moose-dung?"
Kiba turned away from her. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Okashii angerly stomped toward her camp, retrieving Maria, and going back to Crow while Kiba made her way back to the meeting.
