Mist laughed, but quieted as Light removed it from her ear. A series of trembles surged down her spine, a warm, almost vibrant feeling travelling through her veins. Why? Oh Lupus, this is so...wrong!
"Light...." she breathed after a while. "What are we doing?"
Of course he doesn't feel the same way...this was just some weird coincidence.

No. Never. I haven't felt this way since...
Since Forest showed me the light.
Pain suddenly erupted in her bloodstream...memories of her first love rushing back in an oblivion. Forest's guidance...helping her with her first struggles as alphess, in the nursery with Owen, Curse, Basal, and Seren....
But he'd left. Twice, he'd gone.
The first time she'd waited with an open heart.
But who could waste their life waiting for someone who might never come back? Maybe he didn't have the guts to leave her and stick in the pack....maybe that's why he took Curse and Basal and left. Her only living family now was Owen...
But was it possible she could love again?
Earlier memories, thoughts of Blood Mist's first invasion poured into her. Her best friend...Sparkling Ember...working with Light for the ressurrection stone. Fighting side by side in the heat of battle.
And then came the legends....
Wind and Sky, lovers intertwined and never questioned. Their love burned undying, and they;d brought out the best and worst of each other. They were killed...but not really. Their bloodlined survived somewhere, and their love did, too.
Was that all possible for her?
Inside, one answer bloomed in perfect clarity: yes.
"No..." she managed to whisper through her revelations. "Never could I....I'm not one to lie to myself if I don't have to, Light..." But do I?

Something burst inside Light. He smiled brilliantly. He hadn't felt this way in forever. Never had he felt this way. Ever.
"Good. Wonderful." A sudden laugh escaped his chest. He had no earthly clue why. "Fantastic!"

Mist laughed rather loudly and pushed more water at Light. "Weirdo!" She kidded. There was a new light in her eyes. Ha. Light for light. XP  |

Mist snickered at this. "Yes, yes, I'M the creep, and YOU'RE the one seducing wolves from other packs!" She teased, her voice light and joking. No, no....I meant that...

Mist let out a playful growl. "Oh NOW it's ON! Prepare yourself ;; Yozorans might not mind water, but Sheerans are definitly the water wolves!" Without another word, she dove under the water and seemingly vanished.
Silence.
Moments, later, she popped up exactly in front of Light, their noses brushed slightly. She blushed greatly and looked down at the water in embarressment.

Somehow, he summed up the courage to lick her ear. That made him into one of those maned wolves everyone's talkin 'bout.

Mist smiled, looking up and leaning slightly on his shoulder. It was mesmerizing, just to take in the depth of his eyes. It's rude to stare, ya know! She finally managed to rip her gaze away, wondering dimly where this was leading them.
I wonder what the pack would think if they knew...

Mist let out a small giggle and leaned happily on his chest. "Well I must say you smell pretty good yourself, Mister Studmuffin (the 2nd)" she grinned happily. How had she gotten so lucky?
(I just had to add the "Studmuffin II" in there XD)

(O.O kk, so... it goes like this: Light&Thorn= Kiba, Thorn&Ravus=Holly... Holly and Sharpie were mates... Light is somehow inlaws with Sharpie XD)
Light laughed softly. "Hey, you're a goddess yourself, Mist." He meant ever word.
He abruptly stopped laughing. "I hear something."

The light suddenly drained from Mist's face. She was torn in two: the option of holding her ground, or the option of running. She decided that there was no hiding it ;; both packs knew she and Light would be together sooner or later. If it was a Siverian or Destinian, however...
She waited, stock still, still rather close to Light.
