Yeah.. I don't like Mccain either.. BUT he's the only Republican, and the only one who won't send the terrorists over here so yeah.

I'd like to check them XD The terrorists are in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Where are we putzing around? Iraq's Civil War that only involves us because of stupid oil. Obama's not going to send terrorists over here *snorts* And as far as visiting with foreign leaders who are seemingly evil and nasty, it's important to know your enemies, Sheera. The end of the world is coming. Maybe 2012 really will end us all. It all depends on the voters of america.
You can't meet with a leader that is killing us in the name of their god! Thats what they believe in! THEY. DON'T. WANT. TO. TALK. THEY WANT TO SERVE THEIR GOD!! Thats a person you can't talk to.

Yes, so let's just shoot them all dead because that would TOTALLY fix our standing in the world, Sheera Yes, I know what they are about, but think about it. Terrorists favor Obama because he's not another old white guy. Our nation is more than old white guys, which have made up the presidency since...forever. No offense, because there have been some really cool dudes, like JFK, and others, who have served as president. If Obama was in the presidency, I feel they would be more open to negotiation. Yes, they've hurt us so much, but look at Uganda;; they're being hurt like hell, too, but they've learned they can't exactly fight fire with fire;; they're making Kony sign the treaty. I believe in this case, if we use "water", it can douse their fire. Obama will meet with them and discover things about the leaders that no other president will find because they didn't take the time to learn the strengths and weaknesses of their enemy. Obama can then learn how best to propose peace and treaties because he'll know first hand what their like, and how they work instead of taking a shot in the dark. =] |

Actually, on Cities of the Underworld, the Mayan calendar said the Acoplyspsis((or however you spell it)) of our world is in 2012.So it may not all be the voters of America... yes, he may find those things out, but he won't live to tell the tale. You're making good points, sivvy, but i stand by my anti-obama= anti-bomba. Because if you pull out the ''We need change" from his speeches all it is is 'democrat. fix. change. i.' and that means nothing.

And Sheera, you pay way too much attention to the media bustle. Have you ever watched a whole Obama speech? My sister was lucky enough to go and see him speak in person. Yes, he does use hope, but he's got solid ideas to back it up. He talks about them, too. The media will show you what they focus on. It's up to everybody else to see for themselves.
And, he's the only candidate that actually includes funding for mental health care in his health care plan. The others list NOTHING in their plans, found on their official websites, about mental health whatsoever. That right there would be enough to make me shun the others. Even if it's subtle, the amount of special needs or cognitively disabled citizens is definitly growing. Sure, he doesn't have a huge plan for it, but at least he included funding. Apparently that portion of the population, including myself, with DPD, means nothing to either McCain or Clinton.

yeah I've listened to three of his speeches and they were all the same thing 'I want change! We will have change! Change is good! I will change the world! Change!!! Change! Change!!'

I don't like Obama, you do. I'm not trying to change your opinion and you're not close to changing mine. So... yeah.
