The black wolf's expression was unreadable, but his eyes were large, and his fangs were gritted.
On the inside, he felt the tingling of his blood as it froze to ice. Pins and needles tingled his jaded senses as he stood, wanting not to believe what he had just heard.
Utterly speachless, he stared past Rhain, unsure of how to respond... and still registering how he felt about the situation.
