Oh, I love the random power of wolven history... :

Lupus glanced at her. "What do you think she could do? Another bridesmaid?"

"Pssh sure why not?" Rhain sighed. "Do wolves even have weddings? Nevermind...I forgot who we were..."

[.Rabid Lycan.]

He rolled his eyes. "If a demon and a witch can get married... And if a whitelighter and a witch can get married and have children... I bet we can get married too."
He paused.
"Why do I keep making references to a television show?"

[Sivoncé™]

"Pssht. Why do i dream of weird wolves dancing around with glowsticks that kill each other?" She snorted.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

The brute stared at the sky. At the mention of glowsticks, he glanced questionably at Rhain. "...what?" XD

Rhain stared at him blankly. "What? I don't remember saying anything about glowsticks!"

[.Rabid Lycan.]

Lupus flicked his ear, still confused... and slowly turned away.
Heart light and his mind at peace for the moment, he unleashed an enthusiastic howl to the sky-- only to cut off, pure horror and regret flashing in his eyes.
"OH-MY-GOD," he breathed, suddenly dropping into a crouch. He flattened himself against the ground, as if trying to hide.
"...this realm has all dead wolves that didn't go into Hellfire, right?" he whispered, eyes flashing back and forth. "All that didn't do anything wrong, right?"

"The exception is Verlust, but otherwise, yes. Why, what's going on?" She woofed, confused gaze trained on him.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

Lupus flattened his body on the ground. "Because... they're here..."

"LUPUS!!"

The god closed his eyes. "Oh, Goldenwolf..." he muttered to himself.

"He's over here!"

"He's returned to us!"

And the enthusiastic voices began to multiply.

"And by THEY, you mean WHO?" Rhain sighed, utterly confused. She glanced around, eyes narrowed suspiciously.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

Lupus made the mistake of raising his head to answer. "The first NightMist wolv--"

"THERE HE IS!!"

All of a sudden a dozen wolves shot out of the undergrowth, all identical to Lupus with the exception of their size, and tackled him to the ground.

"Leader!" the cried in unison.

Lupus whined in despair as he was buried underneath a sea of his former packmates XD

Rhain grumbles moodily. "Didn't we already go through this?" She scuffled in the dirt, pausing to think. "Shiva...she'd be here, then..." she murmured to herself, remembering the old Silver Mist leader from her days as healer.

[.Rabid Lycan.]

"They were here at the beginning... twenty to sixty years before you were born," came Lupus' muffled reply, followed by an irritated, "GET OFF OF MY TAIL, ANTHONY!"

The crowd of identitical wolves parted to allow Lupus to stand. The alpha's fur was a mess.
"Dear Goldenwolf..."

"Sorry, master," a wolf replied, bowing his head.
All the others quickly copied his actions and repeated the exact words.

The same wolf turned his head to stare at Rhain. "What? Who are you? Intruder?"

"Threat to the master!" another wolf yelped.

At that word, the whole group surged forward and tackled Rhain XD

"LUPUS I'M GOING TO KICK YOUR DIVINE ARSE WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE!" She howled, pounded down by the mass of dark wolves. "CRAZY ASS GOLDEN WOLF! YOU'RE INTERUPTING MY WEDDING PLANS!"

[.Rabid Lycan.]

"Guys... GUYS!" Lupus howled. "Get off of her-- that's my soon-to-be-wife!"

All the black wolves paused. "Wife?" they all reapeated.
There was a paused, and then a gleeful yell.
"WIFE!"
They all heaved Rhain onto their shoulders and paraded her about the clearing, howling happily XDXD
