"Ahh, so you do have a plan? Well, then I shall find another way to defeat you." She smiled, feeling the joy of the moment warm in her heart. She flexed her leg muscles as they gradually became mobile. No longer numb. It felt good to feel again... even if the prickling feeling on her injured spine hadn't gone away, she still felt much better. She realized that any moment now, she could move. She flexed her foreleg to test it out. It moved. "You know, I think I just figured out a way to beat you, Halo."

Halo watched Mosca warily. He was tense now. "Really?" The ivory brute braced himself to take flight if Mosca got any.....ideas about defeating him and actually put them into action. Halo knew Mosca could be quite clever and he really didn't want to find out what she had planned though something told him he was going to whether he liked it or not.

Mosca smiled, biting back laughter when she sensed Halo grow tense. She twisted about and began licking his face continuously. "I...shall...lick...you...to...death..." she managed between licks, eyes bright with amusement. She paused for a moment. "Well, you know what I mean," she laughed, and proceeded to lick him again.

Halo let out a yelp of surprise when Mosca started licking him suddenly. The ivory brute jerked his head back, trying to get away but failing miserably. He was cornered, his back against a tree and Mosca on his other side blocking his escape. Two can play this game Halo thought suddenly. The brute ducked Mosca's licking and licked her muzzle in a wolf form of a kiss.

Mosca's tail wagged playfully as Halo licked her in response. "Touche my good sir!" Mosca laughed, rolled onto her back in a submissive stance, even though she could've continued to put up a struggle. "You've defeated me," she woofed.

Halo chuckled and rose to his paws, looming over the black femme, his topaz pools alight with amusement. He put his muzzle down inches from Mosca. "Defeat already? Ha! I doubt one such as yourself would loose so easily." Halo brushed his muzzle against Mosca's, the touch so light it was barely felt.

Mosca smiled, and brought her muzzle close to his ear to whisper two simple words. "I don't." She rolled out from under him and shoved him over, then raced into a leap that led her into the branches of a nearby tree. She grinned from her perch.

Halo stumbled, lost his balance and tumbled over, landing on his back. In half a heartbeat, Halo was on his paws. He smirked at Mosca, looking up at her in her perch, turned, and took off running on silent paws. His ghost-like form flitted between trees, off in a full sprint.

Well I’ve come home to find you waiting Home and we’re together
Mosca watched Halo as he raced off into the foreset. Her eyes were bright and playful. The voices are gone. At the realization, she danced across the branches of the trees, jumping up to higher branches when she could.

Halo's paws beat the ground softly as he ran, a ghost barely seen through the shadows of the etrnal night. Moonlight patched his coat as he ran under the canopy of leafy trees. A narrow path could be seen by Halo's sharp golden gaze. Everything seemed clear, no roots blocking his path, no sudden thickets of thorn bushes for him to leap over at the last second but he knew his obstical lay above, bounding through the trees. Halo weaved through the undergrowth, unwilling to let Mosca catch him easily.

Mosca's eyes glinted in amusement as she saw Halo weaving through the undergrowth. Ahh, what a day. "Do you have a plan now, Halo?" she chimed, jumping onto a different treebranch before Halo could spot her among the leaves.

Halo smirked. He did have an idea. Halo saw a particularly thick part of the undergrowth and knew what lay beyond. Swerving suddenly Halo leapt. His paws struck slanted land and he slid, disappearing down the embankment, hidden by the thick bushes growing on the edge and along the embankment. As soon as his paws struck solid land, Halo dropped low and rolled under a bush, waiting.

The black femme's eyes flashed, and she slowed her pace, pausing at the very edge of the trees. Her eyes searched the ground below after losing sight of Halo. She smiled. How cute... he's hiding. She leapt easily to the next branch up, and stood waiting for any signs of movement below.

Halo remained still, shadows clouding his ivory fur, ears pricked and intent on listening. He knew Mosca was still near and didn't move, holding his breath, not that he needed to breathe anymore. He laid under the bush, like a fallen ivory statue or frozen peice of ice.

He is hiding out there too, you know... The sound of her icy voice startled Mosca, and she slipped from her perch to land on a lower branch, wincing on impact. Slowly regaining her bearings, she stood again, staring out into the thicket while leaning on the base of the tree. Ears going back against her head, she narrowed her eyes. Father?
