Ophelia lied down next to him and pressed her body to his. "Don't cry Storm. Please don't cry..." she said in a tiny, pleading voice. "Please... please..." her tiny voice pleaded. Then... it stormed upon her. Tears escaped her eyes rapidly. "I- will- leave-" she choked out. It made her miserable to think how miserable she made him. She got up and stumbled backwards and choked back her tears. Her eyes widened in terror, then in a stumbling run, she turned tail and fled.

As Ophelia vanished, a muscular ivory brute appeared from the shadows. He looked as if he had been made from pure moonlight, a handsome muscular creature with smooth snowy fur and intense brown eyes. Roman. Over two hundred years and counting of being dead and a wise being with no real memory of his living times. Approaching with a regal air, Roman padded toward Dark Storm and looked down at him. Dark Storm's gaze was drawn upward and he met Roman's gaze.
"Do you want to be alone for all eternity? Send away a wolf that gave their life because you died?" Roman asked, calm lyrics carrying a tone that could only be found after ages of being alone.
"I want peace" Storm murmured.
"Alone? To me that is not peace" Roman countered coolly.
"That is my peace. She's not supposed to be here. Not because of me. I didn't want to kill anymore..." Dark Storm barked, looking totally lost again.
"It isn't you that killed her. Blame love. Blame insanity or a foolish soul whatever you wish to call it" Roman barked, flicking an ivory ear toward where Ophelia had run off. "Why give up something when they obviously value you?"
"I don't deserve it." Dark Storm rose to his paws, turned, and padded into the darkness. Roman stood in the clearing, moonlight dancing on his coat before turning and padding after Ophelia. He liked to act the guardian of newcommers, because he knew the shock of being dead but also...she seemed like she could use some help.

OCC: Hows him and howl's wolf? Didn't she have a wolf that them fell in love en all? I think... unless I've totally lost my mind XP
Ophelia stumbled blindly in a rugged line. She had taken her soul, and heart and enthusiastically given it to Storm, and he had gone and ripped it in his all to sharp fangs of his. She only wished she didn't exist, alive nor dead. She wished to sell her soul. Her last stumbled sent her to the ground and she lay in a crippled position on the ground of the endless heaven.

Roman saw Ophelia up ahead and slowly approached, circling the femme slowly before sitting down near the base of an old oak tree. They all looked old in the Realm of Eternal Twilight but here, age didn't matter. "It's hard to love a hollow wolf isn't it?" Roman asked, his voice softened with age and the delicate state of the situation. His ivory form caught any ray of moonlight that got through the canopy of forever-green oak leaves overhead so he knew she could see him. Poor thing. Love was a painful thing.

"He's not hollow." she squeaked in weak defense. She curled in a loose, feeble ball and her fur was ruffled in odd directions. She weeped quietly and wondered directly why had she killed his soul? Why couldn't she have seen she was killing him?

"Really? He seems hollow to me" Roman said casually, laying down in a sphinx pose so he was somewhat on Ophelia's level. "What makes him not hollow? You give your life to be with him and yet he turns and leaves. I'm curious why he isn't in Hellfire if he claims his crimes are so horrid and his soul is so dark." Roman was trying to get Ophelia to reveal why she trailed Dark Storm. He knew the brute wasn't far. Even if Dark Storm claimed he hated Ophelia with every fiber of his being and sent her away time and time again, Roman could tell the darker brute would never be more then a howl away. Reluctant as Storm seemed, he couldn't help but want to protect Ophelia because she had been the first to show she cared. That was how it seemed to Roman but....Dark Storm's nature had twisted him. It seemed he was almost incapible of returning love....or that was what Storm thought. Roman thought differently and only hoped etenity wouldn't make it worse.

"He's not gone." she answered curtly. "His crimes were so horrid." she growled in a curt tone. "You shouldn't speak of the ones you don't know of. He isn't hollow and he is the most warm-hearted wolf I have ever met." she growled in a stronger defense.

"You must have met some rather icy wolves then" Roman countered casually, rolling his shoulders a bit to keep from getting stiff, looking a little bored. No one would be able to guess he'd died a bloody death on a cold battlefield centuries ago. Not when he looked in his youth and spoke so casually. "Warm hearts are hard to find in the day and age in which you lived and even harder to keep warm." Roman laid his head on his extended front paws, looking over at Ophilia, his deep brown eyes giving away nothing.

"Nah. My life was quite boring in the beginning, just how it is now. Now if you'll excuse me I have an existance to lose." she said with a stiff edge. She drew her claw along her 'wrist' but nothing happened. She sighed and her fur bristled in annoyance. She was stuck with her existance for forever and eternity. Great.

"There is no end to existance here" Roman said softly. "We go on to protect the living, guard and guide them."
Roman could sense other wolves all around him and knew some of them were curious but others were simply souls dead far longer then himself that had gotten restless. Roman sent out a warning growl to those prowling in the edges of the clearing and several receeded, some fled for good but one remained. He was a large brute with grey fur streaked black and burning amber eyes. Coldfire.
"Quit your growling Roman" Coldfire barked distastefully. "They're only curious."
Roman frowned. "Others aren't needed here at the moment."
Coldfire looked over at Ophelia, his face blank, flaming eyes unreadable. "Another one? Why do wolves thow away the lives they're given?" he muttered darkly. He turned his gaze to Roman. "Who was it for?"
"A brute named Dark Storm. You're similar to him Coldfire. Speak to him. What I have in age I lack in people skills."
Coldfire nodded reluctantly and padded toward the undergrowth again, breathing deeply when he passed Ophelia. She carried his scent.

"I've heard one and only one story of those of nonexistance. They were the seven. They sold their souls to Verlust, and their existance was lost." she said in a soft, yet irritated tone. She ignored the wolves around the clearing and the wolf that lingered then left. She didn't feel she needed wolf interaction. She just really hoped she could hop over to Hellfire and say she dropped into the wrong sky.

Roman's fur bristled slightly and his lip curled a little in disgust. "That is not what you want. Wolves that fall into...nonexistance....its a horrid thing, not someone would care to do. I think I see the reason behind Dark Storm's hostility to you both in life and death. He was protecting you from himself. To some extent he knew what would happen and knew you'd eventually follow him in death. Now that you're here so young he feels he's failed yet another wolf. Can you understand that suffering? Always thinking the death of a wolf is your fault?" Roman's last words were soft spoken, his eyes dark and mourning. He thought back to his last memory and shivered, his mind shying from the very idea of his mortal life. He feared it but he knew he had to understand it. For wolves like Dark Storm that came here hoping for forgivness.

"It wasn't his fault, I did it on my own mind. Did you ever think i didn't die for him? Maybe it was something deeper than that? Maybe it was the horrible beginning I was started with! Maybe it was due to the fact that my father may be out there!" she growled and lightly stepped out of the clearing. Roman would probably stay there, there were many dieing wolves he could go and care for.

Roman watched Ophelia with his same sad brown eyes. Rising to his paws the ivory brute's massive form rippled as the muscles under his pelt glided smoothly. His head turned to one side as the grey and black brute, Coldfire, slipped from the undergrowth with surprising silence for a brute so large. Coldfire's eyes burned the same bright gold though there was an odd look in his eyes.
Padding over to Roman, Coldfire sat down in front of the ivory brute and shook his head. Roman sighed tiredly and stretched. "We can't help a fallen soul then. Just follow him, try to help him. We don't need another soul in hellfire, one that doesn't belong there." Roman's words were soft spoken, for Coldfire's ears but if Ophelia was paying attention she could have probably caught snatches of what he said.

Ophelia indeed was not paying attention, far from it. She was lost in her miseries and looking for a wolf to point her in the direction of Hellfire. Twilight was more lonely than wolves spoke of... wow. It was kind of empty too. It seemed she was the only one to day these days.
