Light prowled out of his den, his eyes watery. His claws dug into the ground. He felt defeated.
Tisana came up to him. "Are you feeling okay?"
Light nodded. "Just tired."
"You had a rough night."
Light nodded and lept onto the Shadow Rock. He howled. "Pack meeting! Let's try to get it right this time."

Pernille came back with Kiba and Itachi's lifeless body on Kiba's back. "Were back Light," She woofed to him. "Kiba you can lay the body." The neophyte paused. "He was murdered from the bite marks his eyes were still open, I'm thinking it happened about a week ago.

Axle walked out the dens and sat down. Hopefully no one dies during this meeting. There's still that coughing going around, though...
Shadow came through the camp entrance carrying a small raven. She decided to sit down and eat it during the meeting.

Light cleared his throat. "Kinomi, Okashii, Crow, Insomnia, Inertia, Maria, Scar, Stitch, step up please."
Stitch, Stitch, Kinomi, Okashii, Insomnia, Inertia, and Maria stepped up, tails wagging in excitement.
Holly's heart throbbed uncontrollably. After this, she would be made a senior. LUPUS SHE WAS OLD!

Crow stepped forward, looking back at Saskia with confusion. Did her paws lead to a different path or was Light going to name her after he'd finished with the other cluster? It didn't make much sense to Crow, but he was somewhat new, so what did he know?
Sharpie sighed, bitterness in his heart. He felt as if he was deserting his post rather than retiring;; felt as if he could give more, that there were still things he needed to finish. But he'd decided, and there was no going back.

Light smiled. "And Saskia, too." He looked at Sharpie, smiling warmly.

Iver glanced around at the pack. Smiling at the wolves Light called forward. He glanced at Sharpie and Holly. THe twosome would be retiring.

Axle pricked his ears and looked curiously at the wolves Light had called up. He wondered what was going on. He hadn't been paying much attention to anything. All this worrying about my father dieing has completely left me clueless about recent events. All I remember is some wolves died during the last meeting.

Linera padded quietly up from where she'd been lying near the entrance to the sleeping dens. She joined the pack, situating herself comfortably near the back. She blinked her golden eyes slowly as she watched the procession of wolves walk up. Almost cat-like, Linera kneaded the ground in an attempt to work out the kinks in her toes. Her ears twitched agitatedly as she scanned the heads of the wolves sitting in front of her, hoping no deaths would occur today. Most of them seemed alright. Linera prayed she wasn't jinxing anything by thinking that.

(Nah;; go ahead, Muddy  && Welcome to WotM, Velena!  ) Sharpie gave Light a brief nod, exhaling deeply. The important thing was that his position would be in good paws. It pained him that Soot was no longer around to become beta, but Soot was the same age as he, so it wouldn't of made much of a help. He had a certain wolf picked out in his head who he hoped the position was given to, but all rested on Light's word. He smiled warmly at his two daughters and grandson as they stood, ready to become neophytes. Saskia sighed with relief, then joined Crow. Her eyes flashed with mischeif. "I can't wait to start training! It's going to be so exciting...you'll love it here, I know it!" She told Crow. Crow frowned uncertainly. After the previous night, he wasn't so sure about this place. |

Light smiled down at the wolves. "We start new today. Hoping that sickness will let us be at this hard time of adjustment. We pray to Twilight it will be so. Unless you have already heard, I lost a life in my den last night, while sleeping."
He frowned, but continued. "With that bit said, let us begin."
He flicked his tail to Maria. "Maria, you have proved quite special in your puphood. We will be giving you the important position of herb healer neophyte."
Maria's tail flicked nervously. "Maria," Light began. "Do you swear to uphold the wolven code, to serve your pack relentlessly, and to lead the pack through rocky obstacles, until the end of time?"
Maria nodded. "I do."
"Then let it be that you, daughter of Grey, shall be Healer, protective, loyal, and respected. Tisana, I believe you will teach her well. Robin would have been proud."
He continued. "Okashii, do you promise to uphold the wolven code, and protect the pack with your life until the end of time?"
She nodded. "Then let it be that you are now Okashii, neophyte of Linera."
He continued to Kinomi. "Kinomi, do you promise to uphold the wolven code, and protect the pack with your life until the end of time?"
She nodded. "Then let it be known that you are now a neophyte of Iver. I believe that you will be taught well."
This continued through Scar (with Axle), Stitch (with Lily), Inertia (with Isabella), and Insomnia (with Xeria).
Finally, Light called out. (again XP) "Crow, do you promise to uphold the wolven code, and protect the pack with your life until the end of time?"

Crow dipped his head. "I do," he promised. In his heart, he knew it was true. He meant it, as he was meant to be here. He had a friend or two already, and even a few family members. The loss of him sister, mother, and father still burned deep within him, and sometimes he was sure he would drown in sorrow. But glancing back at Saskia, he couldn't help but smile.

Harley smiled, shifting through Crow's thoughts. She smiled again.
Light flicked his tail. "Saskia, do you promise to uphold the Wolven Code and protect your pack until teach forever?"
