Although initially taken aback by the kindness in her eyes, Athame found himself beginning to relax his muscles. "Ah, hello... well, I- er- left the Cult... and I've mainly been traveling 'round here, trying to figure out what to do now."
He paused, diverting his guys just in case she was still on the side of the Cult.
"...I just couldn't do everything they told us to do."
More specifically, forcebreed a femme..

"Like what?" she asked kindly, too dumbstruck by his beauty to even think of anything else to say.
She watched him her eyes following his wherever they went. She smiled kindly to him, her eyes sparkling now, licking her lips every so often.
Her body language was almost as if reading a book. She was openly fond of this male, though it may be hard to tell if she loved him completely.
Her eyes batted three times, and she waited for his reply.
[[He better be mateless-- or she'll become a murderer again ^^]]

((he's mateless  LOL- this is funny... he's such a studmuffin! XD)) Reading her gestures, he began to feel uncomfortable, flattered, and aroused all in one instant. His muscles were taut, his figure was lean, his shoulders were broad, and his fur was sleek- she apparantly found that attractive. Wow. This is either interesting or awkward, though I'm not sure which."...I, uh..." He was still staring elsewhere, studying a particular blade of grass as if it were the most interesting thing in the world. "...my teacher, Turpin... he, er, wanted me to forcebreed a female... I didn't want to do it, so I freed her and ran off." |

She looked away, ears pinned to her head.
They began to ease up, and flick again, yet she seemed tense. Her tail still wagged, and her heart still thumped affectionately.
"Thats good! I... left Mephisto to do his own dirty work, for no particular reason-- he was holding me back a bit, so I kicked him off..." the lie wasn't well hidden, her voice getting higher with every few words.
She glanced sideways, then her eyes glued to him, once again.

Athame had to resist the urge to raise a brow and utter 'Liar!', but at the look she gave him, he knew that he couldn't manage it. Letting out a soft sigh, he turned to face her completely again- although still feeling awkward- and offered a slight smile. "I'm glad you got away from the monster." He left it at that. "...so, where are you going now?"
...I've never been good at talking to girls he thought to himself, feeling like an idiot all of a sudden.

Ida nodded slightly, smiling again. She listened to his question and quickly found a lie to cover up the fact that she was becoming a refuge.
"I'm just... hanging out with... old buddies... like... her.. this is... Daisy... I've known her as far as can remember. Yep.. old buddies." she coughed slightly.
Her ear twitched slightly, her tail still wagging as she watched him affectionately, yet, now that her lie sounded so unconvincing, a bit uncomfortly.
She smiled at him, her teeth glistening white.

He nodded politely, uttering a "nice to meet you", but still distracted with the fact that Ida was obviously lying to him. Why? If she keeps doing this, sooner or later I'm going to have to force the truth out of her... |

She smiled a big wolf smile, almost revealing her lies.
"Yep these last moons have been the... greatest of my life... I've been... having fun... you know, without the big wolf on my back."[it all went to her stomache XD]

((She's not a good liar in front of someone she likes... she wants to seem like she can take care of herself ^^))
She smiled nervously.
"Eh-- just stuff..."
The wind ruffled the grass only three feet away, and she did the craziest thing.
She leaped forward, her fur bristling, eyes wide with fear, towards the male, and soon was ontop of him, pinning him down. She looked him in the eyes, her own wide, almost tear-filled.
"I'm-- I'm s-so s-sorry--"

Athame glanced helplessly- eyes wide- over to 'Daisy' for a moment before returning to Ida. "Um, it's okay... are you alright?"
What the hell am I supposed to do in these situations!?

"Uh-- y-yes--" before two seconds past, her eyes were streaming with tears. "No! He did it! He did it!" she cried, her eyes wide the tears endless. She buried her face into his shoulder, crying, dampening his warm fur. She liked the warmth of his fur, it was comforting, almost like cuddling up to a mate when in the middle of a rain.

After being abandoned, watching his siblings killed, and being raised by murderers, Athame had become what you would call 'socially akward'... and nothing could have prepared him for the she-wolf that fell against him, crying into his shoulder.
...what do I do??
Relying on pure instinctual behavior, Athame pulled himself upright and murmured a soothing, "Shh.. it's alright..." as he curled his head around her own, embracing her comfortingly.
He then shot the other wolf a worried glance. What happened to her? he wondered silently. Ida was different now.

She sobbed into his shoulder seemingly meaningless words coming out of her mouth.
"He and I and I didn't and he did and she wasn't and I didn't mean to and I didn't understand and he did and he was and I was and he had and I had and it was all and--" she sobbed harder, the rape flashing through her eyes.
She gasped, catching her breathe through her sobs.
"--and now he!!"

He almost said it out loud, but he caught himself before he did so. After all, it would probably be viewed as insulting, and he didn't want to do that to her while she was in such a fragile state of mind.
Gently, he leaned over and licked a few tears from her cheeks- only to realize what he did a few seconds later and feel an intense burning in his ears.
