Cunning. Sly movements, streaming through the night, stalking down her pack's enemies with both wit and wisdom, travelling around brambles while her foes were trapped and blocked by them... The images continued to flit through her mind with the jolting shock of this life, of how much it took to think up the best possible solution for her pack, while thinking up the worst possible outcome for those who defied them. Though Crecent's acceptence was forever instilled in her bones, she flinched slightly.
Tolerance. Neophytes bringing back sickened food, accidentally, infecting some of the camp. Panicking bearers missing a pup. Harsh mentors treating young'uns too roughly. A combination of patience and Crecent's acceptence to right these situations. Or more accurately, the smoke-filled forest that was all they had for prey. Taking things as they were and making the best of them. She did not shake, but inwardly, the pain singed and seered, raking its fiery claws through her internal being. Thank you New Moon, Nuka.

A massive, and I do mean massive beast was shoving its paws in the direction of Fireflight. A pelt of silken snow, thick and long, was draped over its body, and those claws that were stained with Aliya's blood at death, as well as that of his mate's sister Serra, were a faint pinkish shade as he forced himself onward. Those eyes were just like the other's. Electrifying, yet soft were these. But they were haunted. Tormented. Forever glazed in agony, it would seem. Body hid many a scar, many a battle wound. But they had not been great battles, but battle's with himself, humans, family members or Loni and his crew. Or his rival, Ronin.
Giant of a creature shuffled its paws for a moment, and the wolf gazed at Fireflight. "I am Thite. You need no nothing more, but that I was once a loner, and that I killed Aliya." The brute's tone was dead, yet somber, emotionless, yet agonized. "I'm here to give you another life, as well as the gift of realization. It will serve you well." Briefly nose was touched to the future alphess' own, and then he lumbered off.
Another wolf with a pelt of cloudy colored hues came towards the fae. Another brute. Not half the size of Thite, perhaps smaller even then the sister New Moon who he had tried to slaughter. How he was not in Hellfire was beyond himself, and anyone else who might have ever known him. The half-brother of Destiny and Nuka, the brother of New Moon and Roku, the sibling he had succeeded in slaughtering though only New Moon knew that he was the one who had done the dirty deed, slunk from the shadows, a permanent sneer on his face. "Well hello there, perhaps you remember me, Raku. I'm Destiny and Nuka's half-brother, and New Moon's brother." A quiet, dark chuckle then. "I'm here to give the gift of integrity to you, because I never had any and never will. And I don't see why you should be spared of not having any." A dark chuckle then, as he shoved his nose against her's rather roughly, sending the shocking pain to her. Then, smirking in his wicked way, the brute slunk off.

Two forms descended upon Fireflight, two wolves of wispy light silver fur walking side-by-side until they halted at Fireflight's paws.
The darker silver wolf bowed his head, smiling kindly at Fireflight. His easily recognizable calm expression was no longer hindered by age- rather, he appeared to be restored in his death. It was Sedaka. However, instead of presenting her with her final life, he took a step back and nodded to the wolf beside him. "This is my mentor, Taiga... she was named medicine wolf long before your time, and died just before the clash with Death."
Taiga bowed her head to Fireflight, opening her maw to emit a hoarse- yet rich and delicate- voice... like the voice of an elder reciting a story to its grandchildren. "Hello, Fireflight- I've heard about you... Sedaka and I have come to give you your final life. Use it well..." Clearing her throat, she woofed, "I hereby give to you the gift of selflessness. Put yourself in the paws of others, and don't turn a blind eye to those in need..." With a spark in her eye- the spark of mysterious knowledge that seemed to haunt all Healers- she touched noses with Fireflight before stepping back.
Sedaka inclined his head and murmured, "We will be watching, Fireflight... whenever you need us."
With that, they both turned and disappeared.

Thite's confessions shocked her, but she knew he was giving her this life for a reason, so she attempted to put this revelation aside. This was a fact she could not share with her pack, for all was silent when wolves asked of this sacred rite. Realization was this life, an interesting one. It brought a ripping pain that teared up her eyes, but also the familiar taste of acceptence, singing her tongue. She breathed slowly, attempting to slow her racing heart.
Raku, a wolf who had died around the time of the Great Journey....when she was but a neophyte, nearly complete with her training. In fact, she'd been one of the first named wolves upon arriving into the packs' new home. She did not remember him personally, but his figure and appearence were familiar. She also had heard of him in a story here and there ;; he was once a beta of White Mist. He, almost like Destiny, had a certain madness about him. Well, New Moon is supposed to be wuite something, too.... Nuka seemed normal. Well, maybe it runs in the family... Despite her wonder at this, she also knew these wolves were honorable, or at least they had done good deeds some time or another in their living days. She took the raw agony of Raku's present to her, and braced herself for her final and last life.
Fireflight was surprised when not one, but two figures moved towards her -- she had never heard of this happening before, of tow wolves giving one life. But then again, she really hadn't heard anything of the leader-making ceremonies until Kiki had told her she would have to go to the Eternal Tree and sleep. You think it would be more complicated -- most wolves have theories that there are magics and incantations involved.....nobody really understands it's just dreams and sleep. Enchanted sleep, I guess. Fireflight was bound to silence about this, and she would not be the one to dispell any theories or attempts at reasoning.
Fireflight dipped her head, honored that these two wolves had decided to grant her her last life -- a life of selflessness. She took it when it came instead of reaching forward, and it burned inside of her, roaring and tossing and turning as she tried to tie down her own needs for the good of her pack. It finally came to a rumbling stop, and though she felt exhausted now, she also felt refreshed, as if with a short sleep, she would be completely new and ready to charge off to whatever duty was waiting for her at home.
Thank you, all of you. And I will try my best to use these gifts as best as I can.
Fireflight laid down, closed her copper eyes, and let herself drift into a less enchanted, but much needed, sleep.

Kiki had calmed down; her gasps lowered to quick, but quiet breathes. She had felt what death was like, death! She was still laying in her sphynx position, her eyes narrowed and staring at the shadows before her, but she wasn't really looking into the shadows, no, she was elsewhere, reliving her death. Words flashed through her head, words she couldn't explain, words that only she could understand; yet the pack needed to understand so thoroughly. She gasped once more, then, all of a sudden, her breathing abruptly changed to a slow, regular pace, her heart stopped and slowed to a regular pace, and she was staring straight forward, unthinking. She wasn't dead, no, she was far worse. It was as if she had sold her soul, and all that was left was her body, and the zombie that was remaining. She stood, mechanically almost, and walked to the exit, and waited for Fireflight, eyes blank.
