[DUDE I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT EURO! i have to post with her...lol i will after this one]
She looked at him with almost a gentle gaze before looking down at the water. She lowered her muzzle softly letting her soft lips and nose gentle touch the water, ripples coming onto the surface. Then swished all around the sides of the pool a soft blurred image appearing in the pool. She shifted her gaze toward him again before finally the ripples slowed softly the image of a beautiful female wolf speaking to a male came into view. The female looked exactly like Tundra...exepet with a longer body structure alot like her fathers & a slight darker coat. She looked down into the pool with hurt orbs and she swallowed before she spoke. Thats your daughter...
[/i] she whispered to him in a light almost unbearable tone. She looked down into her beautiful facial features as she spoke with some male. When I left I was pregnant with your pups, she explained to him her voice full of grief and pain. I had 4 more along with her. 3 males and another female...I-I should have stayed...but I couldn't, she told him a tear falling from her eye landing into the pool. She is the only one that is left out of the 5 of them....they knew I was pregnant, but it was against everything to have spawned with an outside kin...they didn't kill me because I was useful...but when i had them they attacked me killing them all besides her.[/i] she whispered softly in a heavy tone as another tear fell from her gaze. I-I tried to protect them...I really did, but I couldnt...as protection was way beyond the problem...I left her in that world on her own...and that is what she is now...just another like me. she whispered to him looking at him then down at her daughter again.[/size][/blockquote]

A jolt of surprise rippled down his spine and flickered in his sea-blue eyes as he gazed down at the she-wolf in the pool. He couldn't deny the she-wolf looked almost exactly like Tundra with a bit of a different body structure and her pelt was a shade darker or so. Azari flicked his ears as Tundra spoke to show he heard her but his gaze didn't move from the pool. Five pups. Four dead. Slaughtered. Tundra, threatened and killed. Where had he been? Dead by that time. Too far away to help even if he had still been breathing and able to bleed. As he stared, Azari's gaze took in the male facing the she-wolf. Solid white with nearly colorless eyes, large and muscular. He looked much like an arctic wolf and something told Ari he was a friendly character.
Turning a gently understanding gaze on Tundra, Ari brushed his muzzle against hers. "Don't worry love, something tells me she's not as alone as we think" he assured her. "You tried to protect them but one life saved is enough. She lives and you gave everything for them all. You paid the final price."
Pups that die do go to the Realm of Twilight. Azari often saw them walking happily, blissfully unaware, in the shadows of guardians, relatives of their parents or sometimes even their own parents. In this realm there were no formal packs, only groups of family and close friends together for eternity. Ari wondered to himself if perhaps their dead children were among those pups searching for a guardian?
Chasing away the thought, Azari pressed his nose soothingly against Tundra's muzzle. It was obvious she was unhappy, perhaps thinking she hadn't done enough, that Euro's life hadn't been enough. Sure, Azari would be very happy if all five pups had survived but...sometimes the Fates couldn't leave well enough alone.

Its all the hope that lingers, she whispered to him as he gently touched the side of her snout. She looking down at the beautiful young female that travel long way to get into the territory of the packs. Where yes....he and Tundra have traveled two...from deadly packs and involved in...bringing one healthy litter into it...but another with not much luck. Only Euro remaining. Tundra breathed in slowly as she looked at the female that stood with the male and along with Euro. Yes, she being Athena from the new packs. Tundra watched with gainfully orb. Remembering well the female wolf Kiska, who has taken Euro under her wing. She was burden and old...but a good teacher. Kiska herself being one of the females that nurtured Tundra when she herself grew. But Kiska was long gone now...in the depths of hell, lost...yet such a good soul for each of them. Blue eyes looked back at Ari gently, I could have done more... she whispered to him in a tight sheer tone. Looking back down at the pool she took a deep breath. But she like Nova will give me something to be proud about... she spoke almost to herself but knew well that Ari could hear her. She twitched her triangular auds around and looked around for a while. Her endless searches of night and day where over...yet she sat next to the one she wanted....but what about the rest of her family? She tucked her front limbs in front of her, laying down properly next to Ari. She forced herself to think that they would come around....and with patients and care...they will. She turned her head toward him grooming at his face and neck with gentle rhythmic licks. Aside from that...I missed you, dearly. she told him with a truthful heart, stopping her grooming she let her striking blue eyes burn into his with a flirt, passionate shine in those cold pools.

Azari regarded his mate for a long moment before turning his liquid azure gaze to the scene in the pool with his daughter an the male. Leaning forward, Ari's black nose hovered above the pool, almost as though he was going to touch it. Instead however, the ashy male let out a soft breath. A single ripple broke the image of Euro and Blitzkrieg. As the image broke, a new one swam to the surface as Azari sat back to watch with mild interest. Something told him Euro was less alone then even she believed if she remembered the massacre that had stolen Tundra's life. Ah. There.
In the pool Azari's gaze found a slender female the same shade of ashy grey-black as himself padding alone over a plain with the mountains in the background. Moonlight made her fur paler and also more shadowy in a strange mix of sterling and onyx. Reddish brown eyes looked around her warily as if she had the sensation of being watched though it was obvious the plain was empty. Apart from her eyes, she was a nearly perfect remake of Azari.
"I don't think she's quite alone Tundra" Ari murmured, touching his mate's muzzle lightly. "I've watched her for a while, curious of her but now it seems I know why she drew my attention."
