Ligua shifted guiltily where he had settled down on the burnt grass. He hoped no one had noticed. A single Yozoran... I bet I can guess who that was. He put his head on his paws. I hope nothing happens between the packs. We've got enough trouble with the rogue wolves or whatever attacked me at the clearing last time...
Nectar listened intently to the speech Fireflight gave, but she did not think or do anything else worth noting. (<_<)

A single Yozoran...
Those words were enough to make the male's eyes snap wide open. Adrenaline pumped through veins like it had during the last battle that he'd partook in. Legs shoved the alpha to his feet. Tail raised high in the air like an alpha's should be, head lifted, chin up. Slight curl of lips over fangs but not to much. No glance to Nightshade. Iver was sick of her at this point. Sick of all the agony she caused him, and sick and god damned tired of interfering with a life who did not need him. The brute gave a nod of aproovel to the pack mates who had kept Moonwind, and any other wolf for that matter, from helping him. This would have shown weakness, in not only himself, but in the pack he had been chosen to lead. And damn it, it was time he stepped up and did what he was supposed to do.
The brute paced forwards, a new strength in his paws that carried him with ease towards the stone where he should have been seated already. "A single Yozoran, you say? Really now? Oh, and a single Siverian too? Hmm, who could that have been? Please, do tell us all, Fireflight, which two wolves have been crossing pack borders? Enlighten us all! There was something sly and venomous in the male's tone. Something wicked and wretched in the way he looked at Fireflight as he spoke. As if there was something he knew that she didn't. Almost like, he had an alibi if she chose to say it had been he who was border crossing. Figure was now seated on the Twilight Stone with the other alphas. Somehow, someway, Iver had managed to seat himself next to Nightshade without so much as glancing at her.

Fireflight laughed softly at his outburst. "Iver, do you really think I go around sniffing each and everyone of your packmates? Or better yet, do you think I really care which of your gang it was? Well if you did, you thought wrong. I don't care which it was, but we know it was there, and it will not be tolerated. You can believe that if you continue to do such, there will be consequences," she woofed, calm now. Her eyes glinted with the threat her words carried, however.
(...whimsical...?)

(Oh sorry… Moonwind is in the Sheeran Pack) Moonwind looked up at the leaders as the howl touched her ears. She looked over each leader and sighed softly almost longingly. Her blue eyes quickly scanned the wolves around her and she looked at her paws. ‘Do I look scary or smell?’ She twitched an ear and sighed softly to herself. She watched and listened to the leaders as the meeting went on. She as fighting not to help Iver as he collapsed again. She watched carefully. Her blue orbs missed nothing, nor did her silver ears.

Terralisa, who sat down next to Moonwind, twitched her ears slightly. "Stupid Yozorans," she muttered. "Don't worry, Moonwind, they're just really grumpy and prickly, that's all. Too proud to admit their own disadvantages." She silenced herself after this, so as not to be noticed by the now highly aggravated leaders on the stone.
"Actually," Nightshade stated matter-of-factly, "our healer neophyte has been missing since last moon's fire. We have tried tracking her, but it was near impossible. The small whiff we did get of our dear Annelise was, as the Destinians said, tainted with blood...." Her eyes turned towards Iver, heartless, cold, the eyes of the beta she would normally be, with hints of a bitter threat. "So what would the Yozorans be doing with our wolves, hm? Annelise has been, as all healers, trained in some combat training. She's not a helpless pup, and is a highly skilled Siverian, in fact. This was obviously premeditated. And why do it in our own territory where we could find it? The Yozorans have tried to pin this on the Destinians, or worse, distract us by stirring up animosities between my pack and the Destinians! And Fireflight, you are absolutely correct. We do not tolerate such abominations!" She hissed, eyes glinting dangerously.
Fireflight seemed genuinely surprised by this information, but then blinked her gaze back to Iver. "You've been warned, and now I'd hope you have enough sense to stay in your place. I'm sorry to hear of Annelise's disappearence -- she is indeed a gifted young wolf. We'll be in touch, I think, Nightshade. Losing young wolves is a concern of all decent wolves of the valley."

(Heehee. Ligua has a guilty conscience. I'm not sure who was the single Yozoran and the single Siverian you were talking about, though.)
Ligua stiffened in his spot as Iver began speaking. I'm going to be discovered, sooner or later... Once Fireflight finished speaking though, he was back to his old posture, but still slightly tensed up. It may not even be me... Besides, others were with me. Even if it is me, they'll back me up, I think... But would that be even worse? That would mean instead of a single Yozoran and a single Siverian, it'd become a bunch of Yozorans and a single Siverian... Ligua shook his head vigorously, as if to shake off a flea. No use worrying. If it happens, it happens.
Nectar put her head on her paws, her ears drooping slightly. I guess it's expected, that the tensions are high, after the battle and all... I just hope it resolves itself soon.

Chicken Muffin took in a deep breath and looked down at her feet, pushing her dull claws into the ground. She was out of touch with all of this, everyone else seemed to know each other so well whilst she looked around over faces, at best dredging up their names. "I've got to change that" She whispered to herself, only half-listening to the disembodied information being spoke around her. Or at least try, I suppose now it not the best time for sitting around and trying to talk to people. Its just hunt, hunt, hunt, I hope it ends soon, so I can fit in. Chicken Muffin stared up, glaring at the sky she couldn't make out the stars against the smoke. It had to be a freak fog or something.

Styx nodded. "Well, hopefully the packs won't divide up like that again. I couldn't imagine a war like that... and I don't want to."

Fellen hung around the back of the gathering like a dark clud, blending in with the ashen sky. he didn't know many wolves here, except for the ones in his pack. Although he still didn't talk much. Maybe someone just needed to come up and talk to him? Who knew. All he did was sit still and listen. Maybe he wasn't even noticable? He looked just like a lone shadow. OoC;; Will someone come and talk to Fellen?

Low, growling snarl of furious disgust rolled up the wolf's throat. It slid over pink, soft yet rough tongue and slithered through the fangs like a snake. If wolves could hiss like a cobra, then that might have been the sound that followed this demonstration. They were smoldering now, those two eyes that had been placed on his head. Wicked fires licking the cold, deep, bottomless pupils that glimmered with the light of hatred, if one can imagine such a horrid sight. The unexplainable vehemence of Iver at this moment was atrociously obvious.
Claws scraped over the rock, did they leave marks behind them as the wolf who felt like all of Hellfire was holding the bloodiest, goriest battle ever inside of his body dragged them back? Was there any emotion that did not stem from something wretched, horrid and dark left within him now? This was doubtful.
Every muscle in the wolf's body was stiffened, flexing angrily with each intake of breath. The slight shaking every so often made it clear that the wolf was close to exploding. One more word against him or his pack, one more saucy or sly remark, that was all it would take for Iver to blow up and start something. Something big. Something bad. Something that he'd never regret due to the hatred and rage flowing through veins, due to the adrenaline pumping. But, until this happened, the solid threat and danger of Iver was likely unknown. How sad. Not.

Fireflight held back a snicker, but a slightly smug glance was shot Iver's way. Don't lose your cool now, big guy. Trust me, you'll pay for it either way. Do you want to go down smooth or play it rough? Doesn't matter to me, just stay the hell away from my family! Fireflight felt a small twinge of fear in her belly as she was reminded of the intense hunger of her pack. They looked better than the Siverians or Sheerans for sure, but they looked about the same as the Yozorans. What did these sorry excuses of wolves think they were doing, terrorizing the forest like this, without provocation? It's a damn good thing he can't read me like some wolves can be read. You would think they have secret ambitions for power....
Nightshade smiled a small, sly smile. "Seeing as Iver has refrained from speaking in english, and the horizon seems a twinge lighter, I believe the Siverians will share their news now." She did not blink towards Iver or Fireflight, but her previous actions made her thoughts on alleigiences clear. But now, her eyes of a curious indigo towards the stars over the mountains, the clearing swept silent. "I....I want to ask for peace, a deeper peace now, wolves of this clearing. After the flames that engulfed us all....we were attacked by...." she did not finish her sentence. Quiet again..... "....there are things in this world that we do not understand, like why the surname 'mist' no longer fits us anymore, why there is no magic in our ears when it is murmured, why we no longer speak the Golden Wolf's name so freely. You might reason that this last change is because he abandoned us, but did he? We know so little of the past, and so little of the unknown. We, wolves, pride ourselves on being masters of the lands, and yet the lands still master us all. We can dig deeper into our histories for natural occurrences, but when something such as this occurrs, something so all-consuming and dumbfounding....there is no explanation for the unnatural. There is no explanation for the blood of life and death, of Flame and Death, that swims still in a poisoned lake, there is no explanation for the non-existence of seven wolves, the blessings of seven more, and the curses of still another seven. There is no explanation beyond a plague of crimson, none for the existence of such things as a Spirit Wood, or for the way nine wolves, those nine only, were the cure of the forest. And we can reason it all we want, but death is not always natural. Please, someone speak to me of deaths of Destiny, Sheera, Yozora, Siveria, of some prophectic wolves mentioned before. We know so little.....so why call it crazy? Why call it insane? My daughter is dead, a new mother, and one of her sons, barely into the life he led, and both had so much more to give. So why can they not give it? It is not natural. It is unnatural. So don't come to me, cursing the creator from whence we came for all of these unnatural things! Murdered by the wraith Snare's claws, mauled by the likes of Bloodsbane, Ashur, Kill, Babylonia, and we will not stand for it! So now, when I ask you for peace, I mean do not make mistakes that the Siverians made in the past! Do not think you can cut deals with these fiends, and yes, Iver, I'm talking about you!" She whirled on him, eyes streaming, but hard and determined with a defining edge. "We recover with sadness in our hearts, but do not think we are weak. We know your ways and we know them well, do not for one moment believe that you can outwit us with this. I've nothing more to say now, and Pyre has yet to give voice this night. Let the Sheeran representative speak so we can return to what truly matters." Her voice was steely, cold, icy with agony. But the meaning was clear, undeniable.

Daniel stopped rolling and looked at Nightshade with a mixture of annoyance and sadness. She had to ruin the moment, now he felt like a wolf again. He grumbled to himself, "Burst my bubble why don'cha" Though... It sorta needed to be said, at least now he was paying attention to his surroundings.

Lunge. Halt. Slam. Smack. Thump.
When she whirled on him, the brute lunged. But didn't attack. Why? Some small, breaking, barely holding on, string of his heart wouldn't let him truly hurt her. Instead he whirled away from the fae and glared at Pyre, who had yet to speak. There was a threat, a wickedness in Iver's eyes. It was countered by Pyre's steady, cold, gaze. The gaze that made it clear to Iver that this brute would not be of any help to him should things turn bad.
Vicious train of wolven snarls streaming from jaws. The brute took a step back, almost as if trying to push himself into the shadows where he could pause to take a breath. Clearly he needed to do that, if not do more then that. Eyes were trained upon the rock, because if he looked at anyone else now he might just kill them. Here. At a Moonless Meeting. Then what kind of alpha would he be?
Pyre only shifted his weight, a few things coming to mind to say, but none of them were said. Clearly he knew better then to say something now that could upset one of the other representatives. This was not the time, nor the place to start a war. Even if by accident. "We of the Sheeran pack have a new proxy, Milo, who has served us long and well. We would like to congratulate him on obtaining this position in his pack." There was a quick pause in case someone wanted to cheer or shout the wolf's name. "Upon returning to our territory a meeting will be held, as there are several wolves deserving of positions they have yet to be given. We give our condolences to Delilah, Rye, Anelie, who have passed on." Once again he paused, trying to figure out whether or not something had been forgotten. "I had yet to announce this, but Orange is no longer welcome among the Sheerans. She is exiled."
Iver narrowed his eyes and searched the throng of wolves for this so called Orange. Was she amoung?

Moonwind snarled at the thought of Orange. She didn't know much about her but if the pack hated her so did she. She looked around at the wolves around her. Her eyes sharp and cool, as she looked at the exprestions of wolves around her. Slowly her eyes found their way back to the leaders and speakers.

Talisman listened to the representatives of each pack, and nodded at their words. She sighed and turned to Fang.
"I haven't seen Lirenia in a long while......do you think that Pyre will become the new Sheeran Alpha? Or maybe Milo?"
Her paws shifted slightly, as she listened to Pyre speak to the crowd of wolves. Her auds perked up at his words. She had heard of Orange, and had seen her a few times, but they had never met. Vicious bitch. Attacked some young neophyte or warrior or something like that. Talisman looked around for her. Just out of curiosity. Because she wasn't going to go and attack some wolf at a Moonless Meeting. Oh no, she wasn't that stupid.
-------------------------------
Rusty followed Moonwind's gaze. All of the other wolves, leaders and speakers included, looked tense, as if......something was about to happen. His auds pricked up, and his head rested between his front paws, and he waited for something to happen.
