Danny followed, almost demure in the way he didn't even check to see where Moonwind was taking him. "Absolute faith" Was beyond him for any non-Destinatian, though Danny felt no need to distrust this wolf. He wouldn't expect an attack from her unless he said or did something offensive. Being around a near stranger meant he wasn't sure about what she would find offensive, but, still, it was fine. His fur stood up and prickled. Either he was feeling the storm now, or he had convinced himself that it was around and so his mind was giving him the signs of a storm. "I coin't waift fur the must to go" He slurred, trying to speak without dropping the corpses hanging from his teeth. Daniel nodded to himself, as if Moonwind had given instant confirmation on what he said.

She was deeply confused by his bark and ran it over her brain a couple times, then shrugged it off. Her blue eyes scaned for a cave, and soon she found her prize. She slipped in and poked her head back out. She sneezed as a rain drop hit her nose. She ducked back into the cave and walked farther back. he kept one ear to the mouth of the cave and the oother to the back. She smiled and wondered what th male had said.

Drops hit more than Danny's nose. He was about a meter from the cave before the first drops fell. Without thinking, he looked up at the bulging sky, and took a second to wonder what the strange dots looked like before it hit him. Like a wall water slashed onto his coat, drenching him in seconds. Danny grumbled to himself, and hurriedly bustled into the cave, dropping the rabbits where they wouldn't get wet. He squinted, trying to look fast the miniature waterfall running from his head, smiling the smile of someone who knows they did something stupid. "Move back" He warned, before he roughly shook himself, sending water flying in all directions.

She laughed as she was almost covered in the water from his pelt. She had to run to the back of the cave to avoid the flying water. She sliped and almost fall as she ran away. A loud "]crack [/i]" was followed by the slip. She whimpered softly as her paw twisted.[/blockquote]

Danny stopped in mid-shake, his fur barely dripping now. His ears twitched as he wondered what the sound was. Too quiet to be lightning, too sharp for rain... Danny looked to the back of the cave, confusion masked over his features. Forgetting the irritating damp in his fur, Daniel lowered his head and carefully picked his way towards Moonwind. "Are you okay?" He questioned, stopping when could just stretch his muzzle to touch her. Even as he asked, his gaze travelled down at her foot which seemed "Off". The wolf tilted his head to the side, now placing where the noise has come from.

She looked up at him and licked her paw softly. She flinched and laid it down in front of her. "I Think I broke my paw..." She looked at him and her heart sank. If he was a bad wolf he had her trapt. She had a broken paw, a huge storm outside, and She was in a cave. She felt so stupid, and she looked at him carefully.

Saying 'I'm no medicine wolf' at that time was very tempting. Looking down on the paw, he couldn't think of anything that would stop it being so wonky. Danny was the type of wolf that made injuries, and recieved them (Such evident by the criss-crossing of scars over his body) then went to someone else to heal the damage. The only thing he managed to think of, was to twist it back into place. But of course, he was more likely to pull the paw off than to get it straight again. Danny sniffed the floor near the damaged paw, loathe to come into contact with it; as if it would break his paws too. When in doubt, ask questions. "Do you know what to do?" He asked, having to raise his voice above the raising clamour outside, though it rilled him to have to ask a non-Destinatian about anything which he felt he should know.

She looked at him and then at her twisted paw. Of course she knew what to do she had trained as a healer for a while. She laid it sown on the ground infront of her and took a deep breath. the pain would be horrible. "Yes I know what to do, but I need your..." She had to stop to fight down a snarl at this, "help to get it straight. Will you help me?" She hated herself for asking this question to a non pack member, but she had to do it soon.

Danny shifted uncomfortably. Then his sense of pride returned. Not happy about his puppyish-nervousness. He straightened, a solemn look falling over his face. "I can, but I forewarn you that I have no medical experience. Whatsoever" He grumbled, acting as if him having any experience in the medical field was a silly notion. That smoothed his pride alittle.

She snarled inwardly and looked at her twisted paw. "Thats alright, I do." She spoke softly and looked at him daring him to challenge her. She shivered as she became awere of the storm raging outside. She took a deep breath and barked slowly think as she went, "Grip the end of my paw in your teeth gently and just hold still. I can reset it myself."

Danny ran his tongue across his sharp teeth, wistful. He supposed if she knew what she was doing, then she wouldn't wind up cutting her paw with his teeth... Clearly uncomfortable with what he was doing, Danny inched closer to the paw, eying it distastefully. "Well, here goes nothing" He muttered to himself before gingerly gripping the paw inbetween his jaws. In a moment, Danny stood as still as was wolvenly possible, apart from his tail which twitched crazily to each side.

She clenshed her jaws and pulled back. She held in a whimper as a loud "snap" rang through the cave. Her thoughts were pain and bitter 'Damn it, that was so close! Just one more good pull.' Her sides were wet with sweat at the effort of phiding the pain that welled up in her body. She steadied herself and pulled again this me a little more to the right. Another "snap" rang out and she pant hard. It was back in place, now it was rest she needed. She turned her eyes to Danny and barked softly in a pant, "Thank you. I have it back in place. I know that was gross to you, but it really helped me." She hated herself for talking like this, but she had to use manners that had been drilled into her.

Danny slowly opened his eyes, then in stiff jerky movements, he released the paw and sat back onto his haunches. He could safely say, holding onto a paw whilst the wolf snapped it into different places with him trying not to make things worse by instinctively biting... Well it wasn't the most enjoyable. Though it didn't really count as his worse experience, it was just uncomfortable. And to top it off, he hadn't even being helping a pack member. Maybe this was part of a non-Destinatian plot... Danny banished the thought. He and Moonwind might not be on the best of terms, but he had abandonned the idea she would want to harm him. Thunder briefly bathed the cave in white light. Looking towards the mouth, Danny saw that the rain was only getting harder as time wore on. "It was nothing." He muttered with some sense of modesty. "Best not put any weight on it. I hope you can walk on three legs." He added. Not a medical genius, but he at least knew that.

She laughed softly at his words. Clearly he knew very little of her past, or of her. She stood easily on her three good legs. Her voice was sweet and light-hearted, "I've done this a lot in my life." She smiled gently at him and limped easily to the cave mouth and looked out into a heavy drizzle. it was clear they would be there for a while.

Danny looked at her back for a minute, wondering whether or not that was an invitation to her history, or just a statement. In the end, it was the thought of having to find something else to talk about which pushed the Destinatian-lover to show any interest in one from another pack. Hard Knock Life. Taking a few steps loser to Moonwind, Daniel asked: "A hard life?" Not a direct question, put pulling things out seemed necessary in the confined space.
