(( *snickers* I just got back from my second Twilight movie. I think I might have also mentioned we're doing Romeo & Juliet in English class. Well, wherever this urge came from, forgive me xD ))
Amoret's mouth dropped a few inches as she spotted Sumer from a frontal view for the first time. She restrained a girlish giggle, then turned back to the one speaking to her. Pssh. Figures the fugly one is talking to me!Gawwdd, I swear my name is Juliet -- cause that other one sure as Hellfire is Romeo! She blushed slightly when she realized she'd been staring at Sumer, most likely looking frazzled and desensitized. "Er...um....that is undisclosed information mister!" She grumbled, remembering that her name was already known to quite a few amongst the Siverians and Yozorans. These were definitly packwolves, but they smelled quite different than Ligua or Kippy. Oh, dear, Mom doesn't even have a clue who I hang around with! It's not going to be a very good secret if half the forest knows who I am! "Er...I'm a loner," she woofed feebly, deciding that she didn't want to appear hostile. As an afterthought, she added, "Okay, okay, my name is Amoret, I just got a little lost in the storm," she sighed. Eh. Can't leave here without Mr. Handsome over there knowing my name!!! Then again, he does look a tad older than me -- can't be much, though, can't be much...

((how did everything suddenly turn funny?? XDXD))
Sumer blinked slowly, the strange, tingling feeling of paranoia washing over him. The she-wolf was staring at him. Huh? What does she want? Is she going to attack me? Does she hate me...? His ears twitched, going back a little. ...what the frick-- is she checking me out!?
While panicked thoughts raced through Sumer's mind, Euphrates adressed the young fae once more. "Do you need help? Are you alright?" He momentarily glanced at Sumer, puzzled by the almost frightened expression that he saw there.

Amoret restrained another giddy giggle that threatened a whole slew if it was unleashed. She looked at her paws, shuffling them silently for a moment and considering the actions she could take. "Er....see, I don't think it would be good for my mother's blood pressure if a bunch of your lot came walking me through the door -- WOAH!" Her mouth dropped, sorrow turning into her gaze now. "You're....Destinians?" She frowned. Mom and Dad really ARE gonna kill me.... "Er...my family doesn't exactly have good standings with....your pack. I mean, I wasn't alive way back then or anything, so I'm all right....not prejudiced or anything! Er....I think I'll just wait here until the storm is over. I think this is the Twilight Clearing, right? I'll be fine...." she mumbled.

"Okay... sure...?" Euphrates mumured, slightly confused. And, of course, the whole bit about parents against Destinians doesn't exactly help... damn, why doesn't Fireflight wake up? She's alive, after all... I hope. He dropped his muzzle down and approached the alphess, gently rubbing his muzzle against the side of her face. He murmured in her ear, "I'll explain everything later... I promise. Just come back to me..."
Sumer's tail lowered, feeling a pang of sympathy towards his brother. I hope she wakes up... He then lifted his head, tilting to one side as he stared at Amoret.
Euphrates glanced toward his brother, and then uttered in a louder voice, "He wants to know if you live nearby." He nodded toward Sumer, eyes on Amoret, before returning to his love's side.

Amoret blinked from Euphrates to Sumer, pleasantly surprised. She offered him a small half-smile. I wonder if he can speak at all...? Ugh, I wish I was better at reading facial expressions! Well....he does seem to be asking a question....that's all I can get out of the head-tilty thing.... "Not far...and this looks like it's clearing up....I wouldn't have slipped up if conditions weren't so bad," she answered Sumer, not Euphrates. "I guess you could say I know the valley pretty well, minus pack territories." It's not like I have a choice -- loners have to know their way around if they want to last long. Ah, well. At least I'm not stuck in a pack! How boring!

Sumer blinked, showing a slight, polite interest in her words... but still unable to get over the feeling that she had all eyes for him, and only eyes for him. And, for a wolf who didn't socialize much (because of his disability), he felt slightly overwhelmed with the spotlight suddenly focusing on him. ....umm... He smiled coyly and nodded, then perked his ears, head tilting again.
"Now he wants to know something about your family... I can't tell what, though," Euphrates translated. He paused after a moment, then added, "He was born mute, by the way, if you can't already tell... even after growing up with him, it's still kind of hard to figure him out."
Sumer glanced at his older brother. I want to know if she has a large family... eh, well, I suppose that's close enough. At least the good thing about being mute is that I don't have to come up with many conversation starters...

Amoret was staring to feel a little bit anxious, like she had let her gaurd down too far for the sake of small flirtations. Eh, why don't I just tell them the truth? It's not like it would do anything to harm me here.... "My immediate family consists of me, my parents, my sister, and my brother. But seeing as I also have extended, un-related family -- a few family friends -- we're kind of like a small band. A loner pack. We take care of ourselves just fine." she turned to Euphrates after that, growing a bit wary now. "I figured it out, thanks. It's a surprise the Destinians have suddenly found it in them to be accepting, you know?" She blinked at Sumer again, the glared at Euphrates stiffly. "They weren't so kind to my parents." She turned, then, decidedly done speaking with them for the time being. She sniffed the air, but hesitated. Would they try and follow her?

A smirk tugged at Euphrates' maw as he turned his attention back to Fireflight. "It's a surprise the Destinians have suddenly found it in them to be accepting, you know..." I thought so too when I first joined... He then couldn't resist a soft chuckle, barely audible under his breath and the shuffling of his paws. And they weren't too kind to my parents either, heh.
Sumer nodded, the universal sign of understanding. He glanced toward the sky, perking his ears against the wind. I can't tell how late it is through all the clouds... I wonder if the storm we'll be gone by the time dusk comes. His eyes shifted towards the trees, his withers spiking a little. I wonder where Mom went...

Slowly, gradually, and with a resounding, bone-biting soreness in her dilapidated limbs, the flame-pelted alphess began to regain her consciousness. She blinked rapidly several times, then attempted to open bruised lids, her focus fragmented for the time being. A small little "woof" could be hear from her, being the result of a strenuous, painful exhale.
Amoret, deciding that now was the time to make her escape, turned abruptly and tore off into the foggy woodlands -- straight home this time. For some reason that was escaping her mind as she ran, she did not expect or worry about being followed. She simply stayed set on her course -- too much had happened today. Too much was too far out of paw. Going homebound was the only way Amoret could see to fix any of these messes...

Euphrates' attention flared, all eyes focusing on Fireflight as she began to show signs of consciousness. "Fireflight? Fireflight! Oh, thank... thank GoldenWolf and Lupus and...." Without finishing his sentence, he leaned down beside her and licked her ear, his tongue gently swiping over a fold of scarlet fur.
Sumer watched Amoret as she departed, wondering what their family had gone through to develop such a supposed hate of Destinians. That's strange... they are nice to Euphrates and me, mostly... I wonder what they've done to her...? Shaking off unanswerable questions, he turned to Euphrates and Fireflight. And, in a split second, Sumer's heart sunk, and his frame became rigid. Ashai... oh, god... I almost forgot about you...! He jumped to his paws and raced noisily in one direction, unable to call out Ashai's name, but trying to attract his friend with noise.
Euphrates stiffened, seeing his little brother bolting in one direction. Not again-- not now! "Sumer-- come back!" But he didn't move after him, not wanting to leave Fireflight by herself. ...damn you, Sumer... what are you up to this time?

Fireflight let her eyes slide close once more, content in the fact that she was still alive, still breathing, and still with Euphrates. Sleep could claim her for now -- it's pull was most desriable and comforting. She sighed heavily, unconsciously, and slid into the soft, waiting darkness. Luckily, she was temporarily numb to what should've been shattering agony in her legs.
