Warcry cocked her head to the side as Flisk ran up to them and asked if they could go exploring later. "A packmate is hurt and you want to run off? I don't understand what motivates young wolves these days," she stated, shaking her head. She sighed, "All right, I'll let it go this time. I'm sure you meant after Darkness had his leg looked at. I'd be willing to go, unless you'd rather I didn't." Warcry felt the need to at least try to act nicer around her packmates, though she often failed at that and she even more often rejected because of it.

Flisk rolled his eyes happily and smiled as he looked Warcry up and down. She seemed okay, and was actually going to go with him. She was an outcast...sorta. Flisk himself knew how that felt until he met Trianna and some of her siblings. They were nice and he learned to respect everyone. But still, a scare on an almost moonless night was pretty fun.
He was going to run off as soon as they started to come back and howl in the distance: "Help!" They would come running and be all scared and Flisk would laugh and laugh. He himself, just so he wouldn't get in trouble, would say it was because he saw another buck. It wasn't foolproof, but it wasn't dumb either.
"Go get it looked at then!"

Darkness snorted has Flisk rushed him to go. He flicked his ears around slowly picking up sounds from all around. It was oddly silent. His fur prickled uneasily and his eyes sweept the ground and trees around them. He lowered his head to catch a breeze. He couldn't smell anything, but something was wrong. "We should get a move on. Flisk becarefule and see if you can find a rabbit or something." He spoke low and looked straight at the young wolf. There was something about him that he didn't like. He wasn't sure what but something told him to watch hat one. He slowly turned back on his way to the pack.

Warcry sensed the younger wolf was up to something, but she quickly shook the thought away. She was amongst her pack, she could trust the wolves here. She pricked her ears as soon as she heard the barks and growls of wolves at play. "Ah, we're close, just a few more paces, Darkness. Should I run ahead and tell Kandoria that you're coming?"

He nodded slowly and looked at her. His voice was deep, soft, and slow "I think that would be a good idea to do that. Tell her I've lost a lot of blood and that it is close to the bone." His golden eyes met her eyes slowly and held it there, but not to threaten almost to ask if she could feel the presence.

Darkness was looking her straight in the eyes. Instictively, Warcry thought he was challenging her, but this wasn't the right time to be doing such, so it must've been something else. Pushing her senses to their limits, she felt it too, whatever it was. With an almost imperceptable nod, Warcry trotted ahead to the camp, telling their Herb-Healer everything.

He looked at Flisk then headed off towarrd the camp. His limp was slow and lurching. He knew he couldn't stand to much longer or he would be in a lot of trouble.

Among the pine trees, Cyclone snaked through the bushes and coolness of the area. Breathing as light as possible, and erecting his ears to the silent cool wind brushing against his thick fur. Fast, a high pitch of a crack rung in his ears. Not moving a muscle, Cyclone listened more closely. The snap of twigs ran across his ears again. In a heart bate, Cyclone sprung from his position and soared across the bushes, landing on a rabbit. The frightened white rabbit sprung out and ran across many twigs and pine cones. "Don't run to fast, little one!" Cyclone insisted to the rabbit, chasing after him. Finally caught up to the animal, one swipe of Cyclone's paw sent to rabbit flying into the air, and landing limb on the dirt ground. No blood, just a broken, limb body. "Good, more meal for us." Cyclone said while grabbing the injured fluff into his large jaws. Thinking of his pups at the den with his lovely mate there. Happy memories flooded his mind into a pool of reminisce. Running carelessly with his sons and daughters through the woods, spying on the eagles that soar through the blue sky, and bathing under the warm sun at days. Teaching them of the wonders of the world. Suddenly, Cyclone heard a growl behind him. Spinning his head behind him, he saw stared dumbly at the feet of a grizzly. Whining, Cyclone backed away into a pine tree. (Can this day get any harder?) Cyclone thought to himself.
