er hi everyone (who's bothering to read this) er i'm new and I was wondering if anyone had any general advice. (no not on roleplaying) and how to introduce new chaaracters into your plots and such, and how the site functions, since roleplaying, I have discoverd that all site fonction differently unless run by the same person.

Hi! I'm Sivvy =] Well, about getting your characters involved with plots, here is my advice: -Use the Needs board, threads, and PMs to set up a sub plot with another player. By using threads to do this, I mean just randomly rp in a situation and see where it leads you -- using whims to develop something interesting. It keeps people guessing. =] You can always work out the details in PM or in the needs board. -Posting an open thread is a good way to start when you're new. -I'd read through the most recent Plot Board thread to keep up to date on the plot and any possibile auditions. -It's best to just play thread by thread and develop subplots -- before you know it, you might be involved in something way bigger.
As far as how the site functions: -The other staffers help advertise, accept bios, help anybody who needs it, and make sure the rules are being followed. I do these things too....but I also do monthly awards, orchestrate the plot/auditions and stuff, make or find layouts, and other things. -We try and do plots that don't necessarily center around one or two wolves, and leave room for everyone to add their own twist or something. -Not sure what else you want to know...?
-You're very right about that last point =]
