This contains information on each pack, the ranks and agespans, and a basic tutorial to making your character. Please post questions if you have any. =]

::The Packs::
::The Destinian Pack::
The Destinians are wolves of speed and skill. Rather touchy/prickly wolves. They are rather regal, too. Sometimes full of themselves. They know which side to choose, and when to take a stand/when to back down. Practical, one would say. They are privately pessimistic, also.They were originally known as Storm Mist, then later, Grey Mist. Now, they are named after their fallen alphess, Destiny. These wolves reside in mainly flat, plains terra. There are some woodlands, and a river, also, but these do not cover a very large expanse. They sleep in caves and underground dens.
::The Yozoran Pack::
These wolves are sly and tricky. They have a sarcastic and flashly flare that doesn't set well with everyone. Their main strength is their cunning and skill; they always have some weird plan up their pelt that no one else would see coming. However, they also don't take many things seriously. They are, similarly to the Destinians, full of themselves. They usually underestimate their enemies skills. They reside in a hilly, rugged terra, swathed in a dark forest. They make most of their dens in root caves. Formerly known as Night Mist, then Black Mist. Now, they are named after the late alphess, Yozora.
::The Siverian Pack::
The Siverians are good-natured, but sharp-tonuged creatures. They, too, are masters of sarcasm. They're clever and refined creatures, relying mainly on speed rather than brute size. They tend to be hot-headed and short-tempered, though....also pessimistic. They never back down from a fight, which displays both endless determination and stubborness. Don't try and talk things out with them; they don't want to hear it. If you let them cool off, though, they'll be very open. They live in a woodsy terra, also it's a bit rocky in some places. They make most of their dens in caves. Formerly known as Shimmering Mist, then later Silver Mist. They are named after their dead alphess and goddess of winter, Siveria.

The Sheeran pack are wolves of burning loyalty and compassion. They are bery energetic, happy-go-lucky wolves. They always see the bright side, and use their charmisma to avoid most battles. They don't back down easily, and are annoyingly polite in most cases. They are gullible and don't get mad easily, but once you get them on your bad side...eek! =p In battle, they rely on their agility and precision. Talented, master swimmers. They are seen as the softies of the forest, and are taken advantage of a lot. The Sheerans make their camp in a rocky area, but most of their terra is marshy and damp. Formerly Blood Mist (go figure), then White Mist. Now, they are named after a brave alphess, Sheera.
::Ranks & Age Spans::
Pup~ These are the 'baby wolves' of the pack. They are kept in the nursery and taken care of by their parents, mainly their mother. Six moons (months) and under. This passes in about a month, real time.
Neophyte~ These are wolves training to become warriors, or in some cases, herb healers. They learn from older wolves appointed to train them, called mentors. Herb Healer Neophytes are trained by the healer, and packs only have one of these at a tim. Six moons to fourteen or sixteen moons.
Lupus Proeliator (Wolven Warriors)~ This is the main fighting, hunting, and mentoring force of the pack. They graduate from neophyteship, then serve their pack in any way they can. They go from 14 or 16 moons - 57 moons. Often, that age limit is stretched or ignored.
Bearer~ A bearer is a mother of pups, or a female who is expecting pups. They stay in the nursery with their young until the pups are old enough to become neophytes. Then, the return to their regular duties. They share the same age span as warriors.
Herb Healer~ These are wolves who use the art of herb medicine to aid their pack. They are highly respected. Only one per pack, but they can take on neophyte also. They also interpret signs from the wolves in the Twilight Realm. Age span is the same as warriors, but most healers stay in service until death.
Proxy~ This is the third in command wolf. Usually, they oversee things like hunting patrols and neophyte training. They can also be charged with power of the pack in the absence of the alpha or beta. They become a beta when the former beta dies or becomes leader. Same age span as warriors, stretched.
Beta~ This is the second in command wolf. They are the alpha's direct advisor, and oversee border patrols and diplomacies between packs. They are charged with the power of the pack if the alpha is away. They become leader when the last leader dies.
Alpha~ Leader of the pack. They usually are beta and proxy before they get here. They are granted twelve lives from the Twilight Wolves by sleeping in a root cave under a tree known as the Eternal Tree. The direct all the goings-on in the pack, and represent their pack to the others. They do not go into retirement; they serve until they lose their last life.
Senior~ Retired wolves who have served their pack well. Hihgly repsected and mainly cared for by neophytes. 57 moons and up.
::Wolves You Should Know::
These wolves are referred to as the Twilight Wolves. They are the main rulers of the heavens...well, at least most think they are. Really, they just have a few special...er...quirks.
Rhain ~ Once a Siverian healer, and daughter of two other Twilight wolves, Wind and Sky. She discovered her powers while alive, but kept them secret until she died. She is the goddess of Spring...and she likes rain. xP
Feather ~ She's the daughter of another Twilight wolf, Siveria. She was also a healer of the Siverians previously.
Siveria ~ The former alphess of the Siverians, and goddess of Winter. She and another Twilight wolf, Verlust, totally went at it a few moons ago. Verlust used to be the goddess of Winter, but basically they set each other on fire and fell off a cliff. Now, things are different.
Lupus ~ Ruler of the ancient pack, Night Mist.
Sky ~ Ruler of the ancient pack, Shimmering Mist.
Wind ~ Ruler of the ancient pack, Storm Mist.
Verlust ~ Ruler of the ancient pack, Blood Mist.
Destiny ~ Former alphess of Grey Mist, which is now the Destinians.

So how do you fill those spaces? Sometimes it's harder than it looks. So we'll dismantle it bit by bit.
Okay, so first off, what do want them to be like? If you're having trouble with making a character, sometimes it's easier to start with personality or appearence. That way, you get a feel for what the character is like before naming them.
Personality- The requirement is six sentences, but feel free to go up and over that boundary. Write about their strengths, weaknesses, how others view them, stuff like that.
For example purposes, I will be writing up a bio throughout this. I might steal it when I'm done, too.
EXAMPLE:
Personality - This wolf is a very cheery wolf. He/She is always bubbly and light-hearted. Also, *insert name here* is a definite optimist. But, because of her energetic and light nature, she fails to see the more realistic viewpoints when something goes bad. Because of this, she's easily lied to, manipulated, and tricked. She's also much too forgiving, and doesn't believe bad things of anyone.
Okay, that parts done. She has her strength, she's optimistic and cheery. And Her weakness, she's gullible and too forgiving. How others view her: easy to manipulate. Note that I started saying "her". I unconsciously decided this was going to be a femme halfway through the personality paragraph. If this doesn't happen, carry on and do the appearence similarly! (Not all wolves are going to be exactly like the one above. I'm just giving examples of what you could incorporate.)
Appearence- The requirement is five sentences. Simple enough. Pelt color and markings, eye color, body build, any notable scars, stuff like that go here. Be realistic. No wolf if pink and polkadotted.
EXAMPLE:
Appearence- *Insert name here* is somewhat shorter than most wolves. She is a slim and skinny thing, though. Her pelt is colored a deep blue-grey. She also a black uppercoat, which highlights the blue-grey. *Insert name here* has pale green eyes, which are always bright and jovial. She doesn't have any noticable scars.
See? Simple enough. I even went one sentence over the minimum. You can be as detailed as you want. Just don't describe each indivicual hair or I'll hace to hurt you. XP
Now that we have a decent persona and appearence, we definitly need a name, pack, and rank. The history depends majorly on them. Okay, so if you're still stumped on a name, here are some methods to help:
-Do what Njack does and facekeyboard ;; roll your fingers randomly over some keys and see if any discernable name comes up.
-Visit www.20000-names.com/index.htm and browse the names.
-Do a google search and you'll find a TON of names sites.
-Look around you. Form a name with the objects, colors, etc, that you see. Or think about a name you heard in a book, movie, tv show.
Okay, so I've come up with a good name, rank, pack.
Name - Shaya
Gender - Female
Pack - Sheeran
Rank - Neophyte
Appearence - Shaya is somewhat shorter than most wolves. She is a slim and skinny thing, though. Her pelt is colored a deep blue-grey. She also a black uppercoat, which highlights the blue-grey. Shaya has pale green eyes, which are always bright and jovial. She doesn't have any noticable scars.
Personality - This wolf is a very cheery wolf. She is always bubbly and light-hearted. Also, Shaya is a definite optimist. But, because of her energetic and light nature, she fails to see the more realistic viewpoints when something goes bad. Because of this, she's easily lied to, manipulated, and tricked. You can talk about their family, where they were born, how their childhood went, what they did as they grew, conflicts that happened internally, externally. Write everything that's happened them until now. Come on, guys! People always yawn at this part, but this is what really finishes, really gives life to a charrie. Who are they, where they've been, and how they got there.
EXAMPLE:
History- Shaya was born as a pure Sheeran wolf. She had no other siblings, and her father died shortly after her birthing. She never got to meet him, because her eyes hadn't opened until after his death. She was raised by her mother, who always seemed depressed and down. As she grew, she seperated more and more from her mother, afraid to be around a source of such negative energy. When her mother finally explained about her father, she felt terrible for creeping away from her. She still carries a bit of that guilt now. When she became a neophyte, she regained her optimism despite the guilt she felt. Her mother mentored her at first. But, one moon into her training, the plauge struck. Shaya's mother was one of the first victims. This shattered Shaya inside, but she remained strong. She feels more terrible than ever for pushing her mother away when she was younger, even though it was a long time ago. She never shows her grief; she remains the same upbeat and cheerful wolf to most. She struggles, but she's managed to carry on.
See? I totally blasted through that minimum because there was a story to tell. It's not about fitting in enough sentences; it's about letting that story be heard. So, here's our finished bio:
