Assyria watched Morgan with a measured gaze. Her eyes narrowed, suspicion breaking through. He has an alterior motive. "Go and find them if you wish, but don't get in the way of Zeffen too much. He's grieving. If he so wished to kill Damien himself out of revenge, let him. His rage will fuel him, and should restore him back to the cruel killer we all know and love," she assented. Babylonia was gone from the scene -- other duties calling her. Perhaps I should follow him? Nah, best to stay here and start organzing this pack thing.... "All right. You've all asked us repeatedly to explain ourselves, and so we shall, newcomers. We are the wolves of Blood Mist past. Blood Mist was a pack that lived outside of normal pack laws -- a pack that truly embraced freedom and its real meaning. Think you can handle this, newbies, or is your skin too soft to run with true lupine?" Snare spat icily.

Morgan smiled lightly when Assyria accepted his offer. “As you wish… and trust me, you won’t be disappointed with the results,” he woofed. The ebony brute stood onto his paws, the scarlet tip of his tail flicking up in the air as he departed from the clearing in the direction Zeffen was headed. Everything is all according to plan… Kill glanced questionably at Morgan as he passed by, but let her suspicions slide. Whatever. Zeffen is there, and he can take care of himself… most of the time, that is. Snare then began to speak. Shiver’s eyes were glowing in silently agreement with Snare’s words, watching the newcomers and trying to sort out the weak from the strong. “We can do that,” Temper muttered confidently to his sister, who sat at attention at his side. Macabre had settled just behind them, foggy orbs directed toward Snare, his frame rigid and lacking any sign of discomfort. He couldn’t bring himself to care enough to doubt his actions in following these wolves here.

Akiak stood edigly his paws so tempted to high tail and run, but there could be more wolves about that would more than likely stop him or kill him. Akiak was now running in circles in his mind, he wasn't sure what choice to make. Killing other wolves who have done no wrong is just terrible. He wasn't about to eagerly agree to that. Akiak sat down and gazed at the sky as if trying to find an answer to his choice. When Snare finally explained what was happening Akiak listened and her explaination felt lacking. Akiak was finally broken. He had enough of this crap these wolves were throwing at him and the other conversations he knew nothing of their meaning. Akiak stood with his teeth bared and released a meanacing growl and his eyes went blood shot. "Enough! I clearly understand that you want to kill every living soul that stands in your damn way! Why do you want to destroy the packs!? That answer you never clearly gave!"

As the wolves spoke, Sinerius felt more and more released from the invisible restraint set upon him. "Of course," he growled to Snare's question of being able to handle running with Blood Mist. "Of course." He took a step forward, almost lurching into the snow at the off balance, but managing to keep himself on his feet. "I will join you at any cost," he continued. It was almost too good to be true, in his mind. A real pack was before him now, a pack that wasn't afraid to do anything to get what they wanted. The rest of those packs? They were far too restraining, and kept too must peace to interest him. There was no excitement there, at least from what he had seen from his occasional walks around the territories. Also, from all the loners in the land that held those pack scents, it was obvious to him that it took no mastermind to escape from the pact that bound them to t heir lands. That was worth no respect whatsoever, but this?
Sinerius wasn't afraid of Hellfire. The most well-known deeds of the wolves gathered in Redbird Hollow had even reached a wolf who claimed no connection to the packs. As he got closer to the wolves who called the dead lands home, a change came over him. A wild sense of bloodlust overcame him, overwhelming his senses. "What must I do?" he asked, still growling. "What do you want from me before I can walk with Blood Mist? My life?" Insanity threatened to take hold of him, but he wasn't there yet. I'd have to be insane to agree to this. It was the last voice of truth in his mind, and it made his mouth curve into a humorous smirk. I'm willing to give that, too.

Though a plethroa of the assembly glared daggers at Akiak, as if they wished to stuff his words violently back down his throat hole, it was a newcomer who answered the defiant exclamation.... She could've been pretty had there not been an eternal smirk of sly superiority plastered on her face. For the most part, she appeared bored amd mildly irritated, as if this meeting was an inconveinience to her; showing herself seemed a waste of time. She had bright green eyes, flashed like sharp, uncut emeralds. There was something wild about her that dwelled in the depths of her eyes, something almost comparable to Snare's own nature...only she controlled herself with slightly more care. She leaped into the small clearing, shaking a bout of snow from her long, shaggy, woodland peltage. She regarded Akiak with disinterest and borderline indifference. "And who the hell planted that idea in your head? Well, to be honest, hell yes we want the packs dead. But, being someone so ignorant as yourself, I'd hold your tongue before running your mouth off. You know nothing. Well, anyway, Blood Mist live by a different code of law. The packs, being snooty-arsed as they are, do not approve of our religious and ceremonial values. A long time ago, they started a war with us. War is something that's borne inside of all of us -- part of lupine instinct. Blood lust is with everyone, whether it be in hunting wild caribou or seeking reveng for downed packmates. So why do we want to kill the packs?" She sat down next to Snare, who was calming slightly from an extremely agitated frenzy...a frenzy which Akiak's words had thrown her in. "We tried to settle in the forest where the packs used to live, the forest by the Mirror Lake. It ignited the war, as I said, and now we're back to kill the racists. Sufficed?" Assyria blinked with slight surprise as Nepthys' words. They made sense -- the didn't even come close to capturing the long-standing and mythic history Blood Mist had with the other packs, but the words were indirectly true. They, of course, had attempted to drive out Grey Mist and take their territory in the beginning, but hey, that was how most wolf packs functioned in the wild. The four they'd run into were the only real freaks in the world....and there had never been any discussion of a peace treaty...ever. "I'm Nepthys, by the way. Oh, and you there, oh mr. "valiantly sacrificing one", hold your tongue, too. Don't be stupid -- you might be heading in the right direction, but I can tell that you don't know why you're heading there as much as this kid here doesn't know what he's talking about," she barked stiffly to Sinerius, motioning with her tail towards Akiak.

Akiak could barely restrain himself from lunging at those wolves who dared mock him. He was definatly in no mood for a mere mocking game. He felt as if they were talking about him like a pup. He may look young but he is no fool. Akiak hide his snarl reluctantly but his eyes never ceased to show his rage and hatred. "So you really think you all are so superior do you? You think you all can just move in and destroy the packs just like that? Well....I can tell one thing." Akiak moved in closer to Nepthys face. "Your going to have one less wolf among you. For I am not going to help you destroy those who are innocent. I am leaving." Akiak snapped his first words at the wolf. He turned to face the other and snarled the rest of his statement. Although he said the words, Akiak was wondering, would these wolves let him leave now that he knew their plan?

Nepthys laughed coldly. "Good thing then. Snare looks starved. Seeing as you fail to see outside of your own little boxed-in mind, why don't we give you and up-close and personal taste of what we mean, eh? You can take part in the binding ritual, hm? I thought Babylonia was going to pick off a wolf for that, but all's well -- this works just fine!"
A practiced shade of the night, Arachna flashed forth, stopping directly in front of Akiak's chosen path, grinning at him with sick sweet honey. Her eyes were cold, heartless pools, dropping below zero in their captivating resonance. Quick to join in were Snare, cackling with harsh excitement, who took up a place that block Akiak's left. Like a flace, Regulus joined in to the right, and they move forward, trapping Akiak in a prison of flickering fangs and eager claws.... "You call us murderers, but you don't understand us. You're a pup in our eyes for that reason. You don't understand and you refuse to attempt so. You're just like them, pack wolf! Racist," Nepthys murmured, voice velvety soft.

Akiak watched as wolves surrounded him. Arachna looked easy to pass although looks are deceiving and when Regulus blocked him all hope was lost. Although Akiak is not a quiter and he was going to attempt something that could possibly get him killed. Akiak closed his eyes hard and snarled he turned around away from the way out to fight Nepthys. "ENOUGH!" Akiak leapt for Nepthys and tackled him in the side. He swiftly snapped at his leg, but only managed to nip it. Nepthys didn't feel like a sturdy tree but it was close enough to hit him hard. Akiak stood inches from Nepthys. His teeth bared and his fur standing. "If you ever....insult me again...I won't hold back on killing you." Akiak knew that would probably be futile if he actually did kill Nepthys he would go straight to the gates of Hellfire anyway which then he could reappear.

"You're right. I don't," Sinerius admitted, and cocked his head slightly. "But really, is there any way to back out on Hellfire?" Just after he said that, one of the other loners attempted the very thing, defiantly turning away. He blinked the snow away from his eyes, and it wasn't a slow one either, but when he opened his eyes, the loner was surrounded. He smirked inwardly, the only outward sign of his amusement was that the corners of his mouth became flat rather than turned down in a frown. He stood his ground, watching the action levelly. The stupid wolf dared to lash out at things undead. It wasn't like he could kill them.

( Nepthys is a girl xP )
Nepthys laughed coldly. "Oh yes, you, a neophyte, are going to kill a warrior who's lived your life times three with a brutal upbringing only your hate could imagine. Oh, and then there's the fact that I burned in Hellfire, so yeah, your little pup nips make me bleed, but I've had a hell of a lot worse. And then there's the question of death itself: you kill me, kid, and I garuntee you that you wish you'd never been born when I come back again!" Nepthys licked the small drops of blood away from her leg, red tongue swiping easily across the miniscule abraision. "You do amuse me though, box-brain. Maybe we'll just have to keep you around here and put you to better use -- we could use a few slaves, could we not?" She glanced around the assembly, voice holding a comical quality, as if it would be an embarresment if any wolf spoke otherwise. Why not? The thing irritates that hell outta me, but hey, I've been there. His words are unguided and blind. I don't ask the blind what's before my own sighted eyes.

Akiak's snarl was now just an agered and defeated glare. Nepthys words, talking about him becomming a slave! Akiak was outraged by that but by just looking around he was clearly outnumbered. Regulus was the most terrifying out of them all. Akiak looked at the ground and smiled he didn't know when....or how but he will escape. He wasn't going to let Blood Mist make a mockery of him either. For the meanwhile Akiak was going to let them train him their ways and pretend to enjoy it. "I will always be happy to serve you oh mighty master.." Akiak mocked Nepthys and held his teasing glare. He might as well make some fun of this.

"Enough!" Snarled the foreboding figure of Regulus, muscles flexing with fresh ripped annoyance. "I'm tired of this petty bickering -- and no matter, Nepthys. We'll deal with the freak in due time. We've more important things to get to -- our warriors, our bearers,...our new recruits. Whether you like it or not, whelp," he started forward, placing his bared teeth just inches from Akiak's face. Tendrils of rancid breath curled out of the spaces between the towering array of fangs. With a harsh glare at Akiak, he continued, "we are a pack. You will no deny us our rights. Ask your seniors, healers, and perhaps even alpha about Blood Mist. Ask them their place of birth -- it was right here, in this valley. Along with Shimmering Mist, Night Mist, and Storm Mist. We're not chasing you from your home....your packs are disrespecting their own origins. Whatever happened to the "mist" surname in all of the packs? What, did they think they could turn their back on the old ways?" Rgulus shook himself violently and drew rapidly away from Nepthys and Akiak. "There are wolves who will need training in the Blood Mist ways, the true, pure, anicent laws of wolvenkind. We are here to bring forth our culture once more, out of the ether. Newcomers, wolves of young age, we wolves of Blood Mist shall train you, should you see yourself fit to step forth."

Akiak was almost startled when Regulus spoke. He was no wolf he ever wanted to mess with. Akiak was not a coward either so he reluctantly stood his ground when Regulus stepped closer almost seeming like he was going to attack him. Regulus's words made sense in a way. Akiak did know how the packs came to be and the great leaders that once lead them. Although Regulus made a very true point, Akiak did not want to kill those he knew from the Destinian. The other packs he could manage to fight without pain or guilt but the Destinians would be hard. Akiak gazed at the ground and then up at the wolves who were captured. He wondered if they would be forced to fight too. He did not think Blood Mist's ways were good but he didn't think they were lying when they said they are the only true pack left in the valley. The other packs are now just wolves taking up space. Blood lust was not his craving but he knew it would be the only way he could survive if this pack succeeded. Akiak was going to admit defeat. "I suppose your right, Regulus....Obviously I can't leave, but your words make sense...All this time I have been serving the wrong pack....Is it to late too pledge my loyalty to Blood Mist without rebellion?" Akiak had said what he had been trying to avoid this whole time but now he had no choice. The pack that actually accepted him when he was lost in the world without anyone to care for him, would now be his enemy.

Regulus turned back to the male in question, studying Akiak through eyes that seemed to radiate torment. The torment of pent-up anger, hate, lust, call for revenge, adrenaline for the kill. The mistake many make about this brute, though dark of pallete, was that he was heartless. The correct description is nothing more or less than he is almost cold. Almost apathetic. Almost unfeeling. He shrugged Akiak off and barked roughly, "If there is a wolf willing to mentor you." A sly grin appeared on his maw and he glanced at the she-wolf who had sparred before with Akiak, "Snare? Would you take this wolf as your neophyte?" "Oh hell no!" Snare snapped, glancing up to glare bluntly at Regulus before returning to gnawing at her hindlegs. "Got better things to do..." she grumbled, not ever glancing at Akiak, but rather acting like he was not there at all. She swiped her fangs across her skin with an odd sort of pleasure. "Well, anyone?" Regulus growled, eyes flashing bright as he seemed to enjoy the distaste thrown at Akiak. Serves him right for running his mouth. Eh, we're not in good times. Someone will step forward eventually and he'll get his very first brain... "Arac--" a harsh snarl slit the word from Regulus' throat. There was no question of whether or not Arachna wished to mentor the young wolf. Or any wolf for that matter. "Very well. What of you, Crimson? Assyria? Since it would be best for the Blood Mist wolves to step forth and take a claim on the newbies, show us all how it is done...." Regulus flicked his pink tongue thoughtfull across his thirsting incisors. Boyish perhaps the thought was, but how could he help himself with it? ...I want a kick-ass neophyte. Like Death, before the kid turned into a mini Dr. Phil and tried to give us "therapy sessions" with fire....I guess I'll find one eventually. Maybe one of Babylonia's kids... "I'll take him." Regulus turned, surveying the speaker with mild interest. He nodded. "In packs you butt heads, yes? Here, we do not act as deer do. Cut a small incision on your left paw pad, and press it to your mentor's right paw," Regulus growled, turning away from the two, and returning to his former position with the pack. The wolf who had spoken smiled sickly sweet at Akiak, dark eyes flashing with unknown, sinister schemes. Nepthys eyes bore into the small wolf, as if daring him to deny the offer presented.

Akiak only rolled his eyes at all the wolves who did not wish to waste their time training him. Great! Maybe they think I am so annoying they will set me free!...Or not. Akiak was completely taken off gaurd when Nepthys spoke up. Akiak was stunned. Nepthys!?Out of all the Blood Mist wolves, it had to be Nepthys!? Akiak snapped back into reality when Regulus spoke. Wow, I really hope h didn't think I would be to of a coward to actually hurt myself. Akiak met Nepthys gaze and narrowed his eyes. He looked at his left paw and held it to his mouth. Akiak tasted blood when he bit on his paw, he never thought his fangs were sharp enough to do that. OK Nepthys, How 'bout it?" Akiak held out his bloody left paw to accept her offer. He smiled cunningly and waited to see Nepthys reaction. I'll show them....I'll show them all....I can be a killer....just wait and see. Then they will regret not wanting to train me!
