The sky was a wintery mix of snow and a light rain. Snow clumped around Baya's paws as she trekked twoards the Hot Springs to warm up before she went hunting this morning. She mainly wanted to go there to remove the painful clumps of snow that clung to her paws and slowly reaching up her legs as she ran to her destination. The faint sound of bubbling water was the sweet sound of music to Baya's ears.
When the Hot Spring was in veiw relief washed over Baya's face and she trotted akwardly to the water trying to shake off the snow clumps and some freezing rain. Baya searched for a spring that didn't look boiling hot and finally found one that wasn't even bubbling. She plunged into the water and swam in a circle, while shaking off the snow. A rock platform was near the waters edge where she could lay down but deep enough to where she would still be in the water with only her head sticking out. Baya enjoyed the warm sensation of the water and almost forgot she had to go hunting. She looked around hoping a deer or some prey animal was around to hunt so she wold not have to trekk to far from the water. Baya snoffed the air and faint traces of moose was near. Baya tensed when she smelt the moose. She knew Moose can be very dangerous animals that can stomp a wolf into the ground. She hoped the water would cover her scent if the moose was around.

Halo ran in dashing to the hot springs. He was clearly in sight, and he made racket, startling the birds who sat in the willow trees. Feeling elated, he plunged in a hot spring, not minding the sudden change in temperature. He took no notice of the moose, which was not a long distance away, and jumped when he heard it's startled calls. Halo turned, craning his head vigorously, only to find a wolf, whom he'd never met, laying with wide eyes at him. He knew enough about moose, and they were feisty and powerful creatures. The wolf continued to stare at him, and he couldn't tell if it was with anger or pity. "I..." He stopped. The moose trotted, terrified, deeper into the willow trees, running wildly, and Halo couldn't tell if it was headed towards him and the hot springs, or away from them. He could still hear it's large paws trembling the snowy ground.
