Gade fell at ease, allowing his opponent to get up mercifully. As his long and glorious fur shone, he wallowed in his pride. He had made a new friend with this wolf, and all he wanted to do was know more about her. Looking at Eurasia, then back at Featherswift, he asked them both. "What do you like to do?" A strange question, he knew, but he loved to find out other's hobbies. He was still engrossed in the fact that he was not a normal wolf, but he showed more happiness than usual. What he wanted now was to be accepted, after all, these were pretty much the first wolves he had met here.

Featherswift got up and shook her fur to get the grit off of it. This wolf was a good fighter to knock her over so many times in a row. Gade looked at Eurasia and her and asked,"What do you like to do?" No one had asked her this question so she cocked her head thinking. "I like learning about things I do not know. My curiousness always gets the better of me," she smiled.

He smiled a smirky smile. (lol. I love alliterations) "Well, then, would you like to learn some fighting tactics." But as soon as these words escaped him he felt hot with shame. How rude he was to ask a warrior to learn from a neophyte. He lowered his ears to the back of his head, whining an apology. He glanced at Eurasia, still facing Featherswift though, and he saw her beautiful eyes glitter with amusement. This wolf wasn't going to punish him for being so rude, and he hoped Featherswift wouldn't. But as he and Eurasia held gazes, he was lost in thought. He really liked the sweet smelling herb wolf, but he knew that he could never have any chance with her. She's an herb healer, and she wouldn't want anybody who forgets everything every 20 minutes for a mate, He thought. He wondered what his future would be like, if he would eventually die form his brain sickness or just live on forgetting everything. He felt hot with shame and embarrassment now, sick of his life. His facial expressions changed as he thought of his handicap. Gade hated frogetting everything. He growled at himself, frustrated and hurt, and before even waiting for a response he stomped out of the dens, into the clearing, and hoped that the two would follow.

(me too) As Gade asked her this she saw he had seen his mistake. Gade whined as an apology and his ears went back. Featherswift laughed inside, her tail wagged. Then she saw him run into the clearing. "Eurasia would you like to follow?," she asked. She took a step towards the clearing.

Eurasia hesitated as Featherswift invited her to come along and follow Gade. She hadn't found interest in this wolf, whom forgot everything he knew, and she tried to find an excuse. Of course, as an herb healer, the only thing she could really say was "No thanks. I need to look for herbs." And so with that Eurasia padded away, heading into the forest to find some healing herbs. Gade listened to the footsteps behind him. Eurasia was apparently leaving the clearing, going into the forest. He sighed inside (lol random rhyming, and dude, that's an alliteration! xD) not wanting the sweet smelling wolf to leave. He listened to what lay around him, the rustle of tree leaves, the patter of pawsteps on mud, and the slow breatheing of wolves around him. Over all it felt peaceful, and quiet, and he relaxed slightly. Turning around, he faced Featherswift and sat down. His mind was overwhelming him, and he really meant to talk to himself but intended for Featherswift to answer. "Somtimes I feel so alone in this big world. I just want to know where I belong." (Let's try to make this a little more interesting. We haven't been putting much, so try your hardest to make this good. I don't want them to fall in love with a boring thread.  ) |

(XD it ryhmes nice job...and alliteration! I know what you mean. I'll try my best to make it a good thread, if you help!  ) "Okay Eurasia," she grinned as her friend left. "Good luck on the herb finding!" Sitting down next to Gade she listened to him,"Sometimes I feel so alone in this big world. I just want to know where I belong," he said. Featherswift knew this feeling and understood perfectly what he felt. "Sometimes I also feel the same, Gade. See that bird nest over there?," she indicated to a nest percariously resting on a waving branch in the wind. "My father said that if you can imagine a bird in there along with chicks you will understand. All of them want to fly just like their mom and dad. The chicks, except one, can fly just like the parents. The one that can't feels left out, not knowing when and how he fits in. Soon, though, he developes his own method that is right for him and this helps the whole nesting family when needed," Featherswift explained. (Omg sorry for long father said deal...and yet here it goes on and on) "Everything belongs Gade, even when different they may be able to do more good than others," she ended smiling happily. Her father's teachings took a while to explain and longer to fully understand, but that just made him that much wiser of an alpha. (all wolves are son's or daughters of alphas in rl, unless something wierd happens.... so hope that makes since ) |

Gade sniffed loudly, loud enough to be head as if he were crying, and he looked straight into the she-wolf's eyes. They glittered with understanding, and she reflected the moonlight above them. He sighed, only to be met by a lecture from some father he never knew. It did take his mind off things, but it also bored him. Even so, he took meaning in the words, trying to figure it out. "Yes, but what if that particular chick had a disability? What if that chick couldn't learn like the others, or was crippled? It would take longer for that chick to reach its goal, and sometimes it wouldn't be able to meet it. Some chicks aren't always as lucky as the others, Featherswift. And that particular chick doesn't get to have the same rights. That one, unlucky puppy, gets to be treated like a disabled freak, and he never gets to be like the others! He's not special, he's not slow, he's just a stupid, worthless puppy who forgets everything and doesn't even know how he ended up like this!" And with that he sat down, looking away, shocked at his harsh tone, but happy to have proved his point. "Sometimes you can't be, because no body wants you to. Do you know what it's like to not even know what your past was? To not even know who your family was? To constantly have to remind yourself, 'You're in the Sheeran Pack, you are hungry, thirsty, tired, whatever, and your name is Gade'? Do you have any idea what it feels like to not know any part of your past and have others make it up for you? Do you know what ir feels like to know that whatever wonderful or amazing thing happens in your future you'll forget anyways?" One small tear welled up his eyes. (K, I am getting pretty stumped, so later we can go to the muse unanumous therapy thread to discuss it. We might be able to gather some ideas from that. ) |

(okay moonsetwolf good idea XD I'm getting stumped as well ) Featherswift was surprised by Gade's reply to what she had said. Suddenly it had turned into a pup then into Gade himself. Without knowing he had just told her how he truly felt. No, she did not know what it was like to forget who she was and her old pack. Knowing that Gade had felt this made her sad. No wolf should alone or not know his past. She looked at Gade and noticed his eyes had gotten watery. Her heart sunk. She hadn't meant to make him sad. When she thought of what her dad would have said she had just said it...she didn't mean to make Gade like this. All she could though was answer with,"No, Gade I don't know how that feels." (by the way what color fur does Gade have..his profile doesn't say lol ) |

Gade sighed silently, to shy to apologize for his harsh tone. It made him so upset, to talk about his problem. The very wondering of what his childhood was like made his head hurt. Still, as he spoke with this wolf, he was very interested in her. The wolf was curious apparently, and she was very kind to him. The wolf could be a possible friend, but he feared doing so. Why? Because a friend would mean constant remindings of who they were. Constant forgettings of their previous memories. He didn't want to feel something great and forget it later on. Still, what he knew now was that he wanted to know more about the wolf. The fae, he knew, was very pretty also, and since he saw her she had been quite clumsy. This wolf kind of made him feel like he had a point in life. a goal to protect her. She was going to be his center focus now. Featherswift was his one true interest, and his new life's goal was to keep her safe and happy as long as he lived, or on the other hand, as long as he remembered. So without any hesitation or shyness, all of that disappeared, he said warmly. "Featherswift, will you go on a hunting trip with me later?"

Featherswift looked at Gade surprised. His mood ultimately changed in a minute. "Sure! I would love to go on a hunting trip with you later," she said her face shinning. Her tail wagged at this idea. She would be able to show Gade that she wasn't a useless warrior at all. She may be clumsy at times or "out of it" too, but she could at least hunt. There was something else that told her that she wanted to hunt with him, but she wasn't quite sure what it was at the moment. "When would you like to go Gade?," she asked.
(do you want to start a new thread for the hunting trip...after or before the big fight in the Twilight Clearing? ^^ I got ideas now after a week. Yeah! )
