Hearts in a Hide. (Gade and Featherswift)

The laughter eventually died off and Gade annouced they should probably go hunt and teased about it. Featherswift's smile grew as he teased her. "Okay, this time I won't hunt brambles, hopefully," she said and turned back around, once again. She was not feeling as lonely as she had from when she had first taken into the pack. Featherswift felt not as sad either about when Eurasia had left suddenly with the smell of blood all over her. Gade had helped more than he knew.
Going the opposite way of the thorny bush that had given them so much trouble she found a scent near tracks in the mud. It was a deer. Her ears instantly came foreward. It was alone from what she could tell. She was intense on the trail now. "Ready to find that deer?," she asked Gade when she looked behind him. She saw the off-white wolf somewhat thoughtful and hungry.

"You bet. Oh, and, erm, Featherswift? Even if we don't catch anything, that's okay. You made today really fun." He tried to sound like he wasn't being a kiss-up, becuase, well, he wasn't. Today was so much more comfortable now, now that he had a real friend. Featherswift just changed his life, more than she knew too.
