(what scene?) Maline's face fell when Knot explained they wouldn't be staying forever. She hadn't been imagining that long, but she hadn't been imagining when they would leave either. Still standing by the attractive wolf, Maline threw another thankful glance at Esrever. Knowing the story herself, it would clearly make her look like an idiot. So she put that on Esrever instead. Hmm, she thought, that's kind of low of me. Pretty shallow. Oh well. "So where are we going Esrever?" For some reason Gade doubted that all Maline had told him was true. He ignored the feeling though, guessing he was only being worried about not watching over Featherswift. It had seemed like forever since he'd seen her, and now he was loosing his mind. Gade tapped Knot on the side with his tail as a gesture of gratitude, and waited patiently for Esrever to tell them where they would go, even though Gade didn't plan on traveling, but listening. Was that spying though? Maybe it didn't count because they were loners. An undecided face crossed over Gade, and he put the thought to the back of his head, though he would surely forget it later.

((*wearing sombrero* sorry for the wait!))
Coop slipped into a comfortable gait behind Featherswift, triangular ears swiveling into the breeze and straining to catch fragments of sound. On regular occasions when Coop was left, alone, in the company of a fae, it would be solid flirting. It was his style, his calling, and practically a sport in his mind. But he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to possibly rescue Missing, although he himself couldn’t decipher whether he simply wanted the glory, or if he craved her adoration of him. Either way, I’m good. After a few minutes of silent searching and concentration, a possible lead jabbed him in the nose. Coop stiffened, halting in his tracks as he tested the air with his whiskers. “Hey, Featherswift… do you smell that?” I smell a wolf, but it’s a ways off. I can’t identify a pack… it almost smells like a Sheeran.
Dallas prowled through the underbrush, keeping his tail tucked low and his senses keen for the search. He twitched in surprise at the sound of a voice, but when he recognized it as Luma, he forced his muscles to relax. Easy. Don’t want to get jumpy now… Lifting his head to inhale what the wind carried, Dallas immediately wrinkled his muzzle, his eyes darkening. “I smell soot,” he murmured, simultaneously tensing his muscles as he scanned the horizon. There was no visual to work on. For all we know, a whole gang of them is heading our way. “…we need to investigate. The scent’s coming from that direction.” He was whispering now, possibly a little on the paranoid side, but rightfully so. Dallas headed toward the scent, toward Sylvana, ready to fight if needed.
Miles from the Sheeran patrols, a shadow inched through the trees. The silhouette reeked of flames, ash, and blood, and it was in pursuit of something other than deer and rabbits.

(The scene that Maline was describing. ) Esrever glanced up at the sky. ?gniog er'ew erehw yas attog I won dna ,gniklat eht lla seod ehs ,zeeG He observed a little cloud floating by. It looked rather like a cotton ball. "Er... let's go somewhere over in that direction." Esrever waved a paw in a random direction and started trotting away. ...egnarts si sihT--- Knot wondered why Gade was tapping his side with a tail, but he decided it was probably some secret signal. "I'm undecided about this Esrever... He sure seems reluctant to say anything, but perhaps that's because he doesn't know anything," he muttered to himself. "This other wolf, this Maline, seems overly enthusiastic, but it doesn't seem faked. I have a feeling they're not our culprits, but I guess we can't cross any wolf off our suspect list for now. Perhaps we'll stumble across where the missing wolves are in the meantime."

"Yeah, you're probably right." He said. Gade wasn't liking how Maline kept talking and talking and talking to him about stuff he didn't listen to. She was overly enthusiastic, and kept "accidentally" bumping into him, but he kept it to himself. When her chatter started to fade, Gade took advantage of the moment and started to ask some questions. "Have you guys seen anything... unusual around here? Smelled any thing wierd?"
The sound of pawsteps made Eurasia jump three feet in the air. Hunger and fear were overwhelming her, and there was a storm of paranoia in her. Alone. Scared. Regrettful and sorry. These all describe exactly how Eurasia felt right now. She was sure the rumor of her sin had spread not only through the Sheeran Pack by now, but through the whole of the terras. She still couldn't even remember why she'd done it, and she guessed that the anger or smell of battle overwhelmed her. Eurasia hadn't gotten any sleep from the past few days, simply being haunted by a voice that was carried in the winds. Moonset's voice, she thought, but I know it's all just in my head, right? Paranoia was raging through her, and lack of sleep didn't help it at all. She'd nearly lost her mind, in fact. The hair off her back was falling out, and every pawstep or pebble falling made her jump. There were red blood vains popping up every where in the white part of her eyes, and she no longer looked like the pretty fae she started out as. Of course she was still approachable, not totally hideous, but any wolf could tell up close that something was wrong. The only thing Eurasia waited for now was to die. But the sound of footsteps was distracting and made her extremely upset. Not only because of fear, but because she was just going insane. The smell of the wolves wafted over her, and anger made her follow the scent. Her nose in the air and feet on the trail, Eurasia padded off with her lips curled back to a snarl. Minutes later she had broken through a bush, and the sight surprised her. These two wolves looked familiar. Too familiar. Being so regretful about her sin, Eurasia had forced herself to forget everything about the Packs. Especially the wolf in front of her. She was taken aback, startled, and upset and heartbroken. The wolf in front of her had previously been her best friend, and she didn't plan on seeing her. She knew both of them, as a matter of fact. But as Eurasia spoke it wasn't with anger, but with deep, deep sadness. "Coop? D-Dallas?" Then she forced out the other name with tears.
"F-Featherswift?"

In the silence that followed Coop’s identification of a foreign scent, Coop’s mind subconsciously wandered to areas less professional. …sure, this may not be the right time to bring up her beautiful figure, but then again… well, why not have a little fun, right? He opened his maw to make a few flirtatious comments to Featherswift, but was abruptly cut off when another voice entered the clearing. And it wasn’t Featherswift’s. “…Eurasia!?” Coop yelped, taking a large step back. Okay, not that I dislike being stuck with two beautiful females, but this is a pretty awkward moment.

That's it. She was officially being suffocated by her own worries. It had already felt like forever since she'd seen these wolves. Flicking her ears and then scratching them, Eurasia narrowed her eyes at each wolf, getting a good look. "Well, I'm not hallucinating." She said outloud. It was impossible to be friendly now, now that all she had never wanted to happen had just happened. Life allready ruined, and now she was in front of her best friend. The one she never wanted to look at again, the one she had so stubbornly left because of her own mistakes. "What are you doing here?" Eurasia growled to Featherswift, but also meaning for anyone else to answer. It was all so clear. (flashback to the last goodbye to featherswift ) The same sound of what she had heard when she met Featherswift choked her ears. Her pawsteps stopped and jerked her body at the sudden stop, leaving hre to grunt with resistance. "Unh.." Eurasia knew it was Featherswift, the same lonely howl which she had heard that night when Moonset revealed her secret. Featherswift was pretty much the only one who knew, and her only friend. Her eyes wattered, but didn't let any tears fall. She wasn't going to let a simple wolf stop her from leaving before a wolf tore her fur off. But her natural instincts and heart made her paws turn around, one step at a time, her eyes locked on the path ahead. And there she was, looking at a mournful figure with its nose in the air, howling to the night sky in grief. One pawstep at a time, and she was there, next to Featherswift, her eyes sad and caring. Soundlessly, and not another word was thought, she pressed her muzzle into Featherswift's chest fur. Tears fell now, her eyes closed in what could have been of their friendship. "I'm sorry I let you down, Featherswift." She whispered, letting the few memories of that one night when her best friend had been there for her, and she hadn't. The last few words were only a hoarse, dry breath. "Goodbye, friend..." And Eurasia walked away, sobbing with the thought of how she let her whole Pack down. At least no one but Featherswift knows my secret... she thought. (flashback over ;D ) Yes, it was there and gone. A memory so clear. It would never leave, maybe the remembrance, but not the hurt she felt on that night. The painful lurch in her heart when she walked away, the choking of tears and sadness, and she had just run. Her last Goodbye had been made. The locking grip between them that was simply made out of friendship had been torn into pieces violently. Every pawstep hurt and ached, her mind "uhn"-ing with every inch she walked away. Her tears were raining down, and she sobbed helplessly. She was crying now, sure that anyone could hear, a worthless and pitiful sob. Breatheing irregularly, Eurasia started to run, broken and crying, her chokes and tears filling the air with her wails of grief. Her whole life distroyed, not just leaving her best friend, was making her miserable. She was being choked with grief by the thought of leaving her new job, her Packs, the best life that could've been, but was thrown away by her own stupid mistake. She was in a run now, emotionally distroyed, stumbling over twigs and rocks, skirting every tuff of grass in her way, looking ahead and not back. Her eyes were exploding with tears, the wind piercing her eardrums, her pawsteps advancing in speed. Her long fur blew, and she ran and ran, getting further away from what she had left behind. Her friend, her mistakes, and what could have been of a perfect life. She ran with fear, skirting another branch, and she ran with sadness. And the winds kept taking her on and on, knowing what she left behind she could not return to. Her heart was still pounding, her feet drumming on the earth, her chokes and cries wailing, her tears raining, and then she had arrived here. Unprepared for what was in front of her now. The horrible maemories playing in her mind over and over. It all came back, the painful feeling and the irregular breatheing. That's it. You've caused me too much pain. Dear Lupus, I hate you, why do you have to be here?

Esrever grunted noncommitally. "Not really. Unless you count tumbleweeds and stuff weird."

Knot's tail waved back and forth slightly. "That's strange. I wonder why Maline keeps bumping into Gade like that. Gade looks kind of annoyed," he muttered to himself. "And tumbleweeds?"
Knot sniffed the air, wondering if there might be any more unidentified scents. None so far... though he thought he might have scented a rabbit hiding somewhere nearby.

Gade grunted. Either Esrever was definately hiding something, or he just doesn't know anything. His mind was racing with thoughts, and right now, he was getting REALLY frustrated. More like angry. He wasn't getting ANY answers from anyone, Maline was driving him crazy with her talking and flirtatious nudges, and he was about to loose it over Featherswift. As a matter of fact, he did. "DEAR LUPUS, WOULD YOU STOP TOUCHING ME ALREADY?! AND YOU, YOU GOT TO KNOW SOMETHIN'! TALK TO ME, AND YOU, MISS CHATTERBOX, STOP TALKING A LITTLE SO I CAN HEAR MYSELF THINK!!" Then he turned to Knot, eyes wide with fury, but calmed down. "Knot, you need to do this on your own, or follow me. I don't care which. I need to see if Featherswift is all right!" And with that Gade launched himself in the other direction, the place they came from, and tried to find Featherswift's scent.

(LOL XD)
"Ugh!" Knot glanced between Esrever and Maline and Gade. Muttering to himself, he said, "Luma said to stay together! That's why she put us in groups. Ugh..."
He nodded apologetically to Maline and Esrever, then took off after Gade. "Hey! Wait up!" ---
Esrever raised an eyebrow as the full force of one of the wolves' shouting blasted him in the face. "I thought I just told you, I don't k-" He blinked as the wolf took off in the opposite direction..ddO
He glanced over at Maline, wondering how she was going to take this. After all, she had kind of been... er... rejected.

Maline just stared. Nothing else. Stared in the direction Gade had taken off. Nothing showed in her mouth, her eyes, or any other feature of her body. She only stared. Didn't even say a word. But then she took one step forward, and another, and Maline was quickly off following Gade. Calling out loud enough for Esrever to hear she said "For now, we're a group, and groups don't leave eachother behind." The memories of her severed Pack came back once more. --- Yes, Gade's reaction was strange, but nothing close to odd. Odd was when a wolf's every thought is printed backwards. Gade's reaction was nothing close to odd. Gade was still running, paws thudding on the ground. He was on full charge, faster than an antelope, going into a gallop. His eyes were locked on the path ahead of him, because he had found Featherswift's trail. Not knowing if Knot was following or not (that's wierd how that phrase worked out) , he felt like he was almost there. The scent grew stronger. And soon, he had broken through a bush. --- Turning her head rapidly to what had broken through the bush she had just come out of, Eurasia jumped in surprise. "How many of you are here!" She mumbled loud enough for the others to understand. She turned to look at Gade, taken aback at how many wolves she knew were here. Maybe they had come to look for her? No. Impossible, right? --- Gade leaped in surprise at what he saw. "EURASIA?!" He screamed in shock. Remembering the scent he had found earlier, Gade was shocked. Even more upset, that she was here, a mortal danger, with Featherswift. Simply because he was loosing his mind over his friend, he got some wierd ideas about what Eurasia had come back for. Maybe she'd come to hurt Featherswift. Maybe to talk. Why had she come? All he knew was that this wolf was not safe, knowing she had killed Moonset. "You son of a---" He was cut off when Maline charged through the brush. "Oh great." He muttered quietly. "Featherswift, are you alright?" he turned to face the fae. Then he walked to her side and turned around agian, growling at Eurasia in a defensive stance. "If you touch her..."

Without a sound, Esrever followed Maline as she crashed through the bushes. What they found was surprising, to say the least. ?!gnirehtag nuf yppah a ,siht si tahW
Though from the actions of the wolves, it looked like no such thing.

"That would be daughter of a--" Knot grinned, padding to a stop next to Gade. Then his eyes widened.
"Eurasia!" Wow, slow reflexes, Knot. Good job. And how were you able to correct Gade when you didn't even notice it was Eurasia?

Coop continued staring, mouth slackened wide as he searched for words that could not be found. His tongue dry and his mind whirring. And, in the time it took Coop to summon his powers of speech, a whole parade of wolves burst from the bushes. …what!? “Hey, babe,” Coop woofed to Featherswift, unable to control his tongue even in the serious atmosphere, “Stay back, alright? Eurasia is… Eurasia. And you…” He caught the eye of Maline. “Umm… you can hide behind me, too, if you want.” Without waiting for a response, Coop stepped forward, eyeing Eurasia suspiciously. “Where did you come from? And… wow…” He glanced over at Gade and Knot. “So much for splitting up into groups, eh?”

(haha ts)
"WHAT?!" Gade looked at Coop. Was this wolf flirting? He can't treat Featherswift like that. But all of a sudden Gade recognized what he was feeling. Was he....Jealous? Jealous that Coop was calling Featherswift 'Babe' and being protective? He didn't care. Gade took a step towards Coop with his head high and chest puffed out. Naturally he was three inches taller than Coop, but he made himself look bigger anyways. "I didn't want to leave Featherswift; I thought she might get into trouble. Apparently I was right. You can back up though. I'm far a better fighter than you, and she doesn't need your protection." He narrowed his eyes and showed his teeth. Right now he was literally looking down at Coop, though he was still a neophyte, he was huge. When his face was literally right up next to Coop's, he backed up and stood in front of Featherswift again, and watched as Maline scrambled to his side, but not behind him. She looked...well, ready to fight. --- Eurasia couldn't beleive what she was seeing. Now the group was exremely large, and apparently they all thought that she was going to attack. Would she? Hmm. Maybe fighting them wasn't a bad idea, because she definately couldn't go back to the Packs now, that is, if they did come to get her. But she was far outnumbered, so she tried to make peace. "Calm down. And if you didn't know, I live here now, smart one. I can't live with the Packs, so I have no choice but to live here." She glared a Coop, angry he had asked that question."And quit acting that way. I'm not gonna hurt anyone. Geez. Now if you wouldn't mind but answer my question since I asked first. WHY ARE YOU HERE?!"

"Geez, testoterone-filled males," Knot muttered to himself, while being somewhat amused by the proceedings. He did keep his eyes on Eurasia somewhat, though, just in case she attacked or something.
He glanced at Coop, wondering if Eurasia's question would receive an answer.
---
Esrever looked from one side of the wolves to the other. He had a sudden urge to take a nap.
