What am I supposed to do? I guess I stay here, in the nursery, but I don't even have a mother. Adolpha was quite worried, worried that she wouldn't be able to fit in the Siverian Pack. After all, it isn't really her birth place; she just woke up here one day. It seemed her life as a puppy was filled with too much drama, and she didn't really like it. The life of a pup was supposed to be fun and have no worries, at least it seemed like that when she was around other pups. She wondered if she should talk to other pups, or maybe some nursing mothers, but the whole place seemed empty with her raging thoughts. Sometimes she thinks that she was cursed with good looks instead of good times, because her whole life had seemed like questions and empty feelings. All Adolpha wanted was a family, a friend, and today was her day to find someone that would be close to her forever. Right?...

It didn't take long for innoccence to spring back up after being trampled; and innoccence persisted in the minds of Griffen and Kaylee.
The pair, Griffen predominantly silver with ebony markings, and Kaylee his opposite, were far too large for nursery life; they had been pups for the required age to become neophytes. Griffen sulked over this forlornly, gazing out at the goings on of the camp from his place in the nursery. Maybe Melina will announce us neophytes soon. At least we have a new alpha now.
Kaylee bounded around the place without a care, chasing after green leaved she'd tore from the low branches of the bushes. She carried several in her small maw, tossed them into the air, and battered them ferociously with her tiny paws, giggling as they poured around her in a green storm. She tumbled with glee in her game, rolling over the leaves and snorting with mindless joy. Griffen blinked at her in mild amusement. "Oof!" Kaylee bumped into a furry lump, close to her own size. Scrambling backwards, stirring up leaves as she did so, she tumbled away to see it was another pup! "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there! I'm Kaylee, who are you?"

Adolpha took note of what was going on and quickly responded. Grinning, she said "I'm Adolpha. Are you playing a game?" She pointed with one foot to the pile of leaves scattered around the nursrey. Her grin had quickly faded, being wiped off by a straight face once again, but after looking at the mess the older pup had made she couldn't help to giggle. Soon, she was cracking up. "You're how old and you made such a mess! You're so silly. I think we could be good friends, Kaylee!" It probably surprised the pups, her behavior, but Adolpha's natural reaction was apparent. Her straight face, and her ability to laugh at anything. The pretty puppy was happy for once, liking the young wolf. She had a good personality, and maybe Adolpha could find a friend for once. But soon the laughter of the young fae cut short, and her straight, bothered face was apparent again. No sigh escaped, but she wanted one to, and her eyes remained dry with the habit of toughing it out. (Don't worry, I have an idea for her.)

(( kk )) Kaylee skittered back from Adolpha, but relaxed as the pup asked to be friends. It was the sort of thing she would've asked had she not come to understand that you don't really ask wolves to be friends, you just become friends naturally. She didn't mind that the younger pup had yet to learn this, though. Her tail wagged in a friendly manner and she nodded happily, bending forward to touch her nose to Adolpha's in greeting. "Yes," she yipped when Adolpha remarked about her mess, "but there's nothing much else to do here after a while. I've played all of the games I could think of here...my siblings and I snuck out once or twice, too. We've been through a lot, I'm getting kinda tired of the nursery. How many moons are you?" I wonder why we've never played before...Griffen watched with mild interest, but looked away as they began to converse. He was a prickly one, though not above making a friend or two. Maybe if they have an interesting game, I'll join in...

(Hmmm. How old is she? I don't even know. xD)
"Four." (If that's too old then I'll change it. xD) "I just came here. You see, I...erm, I don't know how I got here." Adolpha mumbled. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed another pup. "Who's he?" She wondered. Now that her mood had changed, but the serious face still locked into place, she was eager to meet others. The nursery was so lonely. The other puppy sort of reminded her of someone. Someone she was around a lot, but she couldn't quite remember who...It didn't matter though. Being extremely bored, Adolpha decided to start playing a game. It was in her pup nature, of course, so she flung herself on top of Kaylee. She let out a playful roar, and battered Kaylee in her surprise attack.

( that's probably about right...or something xD Idk )
Kaylee opened her maw to introduce her brother, who'd actually done the same, but found it filled and pummeled with a fuzzy fluffball of fur. She was battered by a downpour of paws, but recognized the attack within seconds and neatly used her hind legs to dislodge Adolpha and fling her away. She got up and shook her pelt, dust clouds collecting and drifting around her. She sneezed, then shook herself roughly once more. Sheesh, I probably have like allergies or something, great... "That's my brother, Griffen. Hey, Griffen, you should come play with us! What do you guys want to do?" She danced around her leaf pile, humming softly to herself, dazzled with the leaves as they made their slow descent.
Griffen slunk over, shrugging his shoulders at his sister's question. He offered Adolpha something like a smile, the corners of his mouth slightly upturned. "I dunno, what do you guys feel like gettin' up to today?"

(Omg, I had a crush on a guy named Griffen in High School! xD)
Adolpha giggled at being flung in the air and landing with a thud, because of course, she thought everything was hilarious. =) "Hello Griffen." She said, noticing his attempt to smile, and she tried to smile back as well. "Well..." Adolpha tried to think of a game, but in her days she never really played much, so there were no ideas in her brain. "Erm... Do you guys like to play hide-and-seek?" She guessed with a foolish grin. They probably didn't, and her grin fell back to a serious face again.
(Hmmm...I thought about my previous 'plan' for her....Not gonna work out too well. ;D We'll think something up.)

( xD I named him after the guy from the movie "Jumper" 'cause I love that dude and his yummy accent We'll come up with something These two already had a rough past through rp ) Griffen shrugged his broad shoulders, looking bored for a moment. Hide-and-seek? Not the best....well, it's relatively safer than our old endeavors, and at least she didn't ask us to try and see the terras. God, I would have to hit something. Well, I think she's all right....at least she doesn't remind me at all of Corsivo. Sadness pierced him momentarily, vivd images of his lost brother flitting through his mind. I miss him....and Mom too. Ah, well, they wouldn't want me to waste the days in mourning....so hide-and-seek it is. "Sure," he barked after a moment's thought. "Could we go out in the main part of the camp and do it, though? That way we have more places to hide and stuff," he barked, tail wagging slightly. Maybe this won't be so bad.Kaylee nodded enthusiastically, bobbing her head with giddy glee. "Okay! Who's it first?" she asked, looking from Adolpha to Griffen, wondering how they could decide. "Ah, well, I'll just be it first and make it easier. I'll count to sixty and you guys hide, all right?" She tumbled over to the far corner of the nursery, crouching down in a corner and closing her eyes, prepared to count. Griffen hesiatated, blinking fiercely towards Adolpha. "Do not leave the camp, all right? I'd have to cut your tail off," he growled, but then offered her another small half-smile. "All right, let's go," he ducked out of the nursery, scrambling away a few feet so Kaylee wouldn't hear where they planned to hide.

(Is Griffen supposed to be using reverse phsycology here? xD)
Adolpha agreed to hiding in the main camp, but was a little startled when he growled at her not to leave camp. It became a little less threatning though, when he smiled, and she returned the favor. Soon Kaylee was counting, and she made a quiet escape of the nursery, making her exit. She looked back a little, just to make note of where Griffen was going, and headed the other direction, off to a low hanging tree. Snorting with laughter for no apparent reason, probably for something that happened a week ago, she made her way to the back of the tree. Trying to climb it and failing she remembered something.
Oh yeah, only cats can climb trees!
Mmmm. Cat.
As Adolpha tried to find somewhere else to hide, she came up to a thick bush, not so easy to see through, and she jumped in there. "OW!" She yelped, still in a whisper though, as she realized she was in a bramble bush. "Oh, great..." She moaned as she froze in an awkward position. Patiently she waited for Kaylee to seek her out, so that she could leave her bush of brambles. Of course, while she was there, she thought of Kaylee's reaction of seeing her stuck in brambles and giggled about it. She also giggled quietly about how she had foolishly jumped in the bush in the first place. "hehe" she said.

(Woahh sorry, forgot about this thread for a while ) Griffen gazed after Adolpha as she bounded off, slightly miffed. Okay, I guess I'll just hide by myself then. He gazed around the camp, scoping out the best places he could think of. He could only think of two other instances playing the game, both with his siblings, but they had both been in the early stages of their puphood. Most of the places were simple, and Griffen discarded them now as he searched for a proper hiding place. A smile wormed its way onto his face as he saw Adolpha dive into a bramble bush. Hey, whatever works I guess...His ears twitched idly; Kaylee would shortly come to the end of her counting. Glancing around, relieved that Adolpha had heeded his warning, he ducked swiftly into the herb healer den and shoved himself into a cleft where Annelise and Magic stored their herbs, carefully laying a bunch of herbs over his stomach for further concealment. He was gentle with the aromatic leaves. They'd have my head if I wrecked their stores when summer's already halfway over. The numbers rattled off in Kaylee's mind, seeming to stretch on longer than sixty normally would. All right! I guess I have to go and find them. She beamed, whirling to face the bramble entrance to the nursery, tail arched and wagging. Mischeif coursed through the young femme. It's funny, I wonder if it's supposed to be cheating to try and scent for each other...most wolves who play don't really know how to scent yet. I'm not the greatest, but I think I would be able to find Griffen at least. She slunk out of the den, landing in a neat crouch and peered around the clearing. The camp's vastness stretched out before her. She eyed each of the dens and looked at the shrubbery that grew throughout the camp carefully. Where do I even start?

Adolpha writhed slowly in the bush. She didn't want to make a lot of noise, but the brambles were poking her unusually hard. With a grunt of irritation, Adolpha tried to make her way out of the bush, the oppostie direction of where Kaylee stood, and successfully made it without stirring up a lot of racket. Shaking off the throns and brambles stuck in her fur, though some still stuck, she dashed to a different bush. Fortunately, this one wasn't filled with brambles. Adolpha made herself comfortable, and waited for the seekeer to find. If it took long enough, Adolpha would try to run somewhere farther away.
